Very unhelpful staff. I politely asked a staff member who was putting away a bolt of fabric if I could ask her for help. She turned around and said, "No, Im already helping someone else." and then she just walked away without even offering to find someone else available to help me. So, I took a number from the fabric cutting queue and waited. When my number was called I showed the women at the counter a swatch of cotton fabric I had brought with me and asked if they carried anything similar. She looked at it and without even bothering to feel the fabric to get a better idea of what kind it was, told me they didnt carry that. So, I wondered around on my own and eventually found the fabric I was looking for. Very unpleasant experience.

I came here to get a custom frame and ended up spending an hour and a half at the counter while the sales clerk intermittently helped me, but mostly ignored me and prioritized other customers who had arrived after I did. It should have not taken that long. In the end, all I bought was the matting since they wanted to charge an outrageous price for a simple custom frame. The matt boards turned out well, thankfully, but I will not be back for any more framing services.

Lots of coupons available almost every 1to 2 weeks. Many different craft products available. Online orders available. Craft classes available for kids and adults. Big fabric selection of craft, quilting, furniture, curtain, and clothes sewing available. Kids craft kids of all sorts sold. Big craft book selection. Lots of beading supplies. Store easy to navigate,and staffing is very helpful. My favorite place for crafting and browsing new products.

I love the quantity of fabric choices but I am NOT loving how stingy they are with cutting fabric. I have had so many cuts of fabric come up short on a quilt Im working on because when you try to square up the fabric you can be short up to an inch due to uneven, crappy cutting by the employee cutting the fabric. They cut absolutely nothing over what you need and cut so crooked you arent even getting the full yardage you purchased!!!

Good selection, although there arent many options in Indianapolis for fabric. Staff are all very friendly, but need to crack the whip at customers who use the cutting counter as a project planning station, thus severely delaying service for customers in line behind them. A ten minute errand can quickly escalate to waiting for 30+ minutes to get your material cut.

I want to give the store 0 star if I could. The manager rudely refused to sell me $50 gift card since my drive license is from other state than IN. I ask her to show me the policy and she said she can do anything she want because she is the manger. You cant discriminate customers just because they own a out of state drive licence.

Slowest people and terrible phone customer service. I wanted to see if they had an item before I continued to drive to the store. Three people returned to the phone asking how can they help me and I still made it all the way to the store before someone returned to the phone to tell me they did NOT have it!

The employees have been nothing but kind and helpful. They coo over my little boy, and the lady at the cutting counter even ran back to grab a Doctor Who fabric for me when she heard I love the show. Ive felt very welcomed here, and definitely looked after as a customer.

Decent selection, pretty slow service though, both in the fabric cutting department and at the cash registers. Disappointed in the sewing notions department.....they have a lot of oddball items, but not some of the more basic sizes and standard colors of buttons.

We waited for hours to get fabric cut then walked to counter and ignored us and called next number...we said hey we have this number barb was really rude and said well didnt you hear ur number. Yes mamam we we standing right here in front of you.....very rude.

This is a larger than average location. Im sure thats great for those who like to browse through fabric. The staff is kind and helpful. Only downside is it can take a long time for them to cut fabric if they are busy.

This location consistently has the *slowest* cutting counter of any fabric store in the city. Expect to wait at least 10-15 minutes off peak to get your fabric cut, and 30+ minutes when the store is busy.

I hate going to Jo Anns. The employees at the cutting tables always have the worst attitudes and this one is true to the theme. The selection is always good but I cant stand the attitude half the time.
