Yes this place has a lot of options. But dont bother asking for help... We brought in a unframed picture on a snowy January night. Hardly anyone in the store but 4 employees. We rang the bell for service and waited and waited on the third ring I could hear one of the girls say I heard you! Dont need to keep ringing that. Wait it gets better! Then when looking around for art supplies I tried to get the attention of one of the many employees for help. And this lady seemed to be bothered to even talk for a second. No name tag or even a wimper of "can I help you" came out of her. Anyway, I finally had to ask if she worked there because I want too sure at this unconfortable moment. She hastily finally gave a unfriendly response. If you can find everything you want there on your own, its better Good luck

Michaels is an excellent store for art supplies. They do not have some specialized supplies (such as for calligraphers) that are very specific, but they do have an assortment of good supplies for artists who are looking for moderate to advanced level educational supplies. For most supplies I can go to Michaels, but for some supplies I have to order them online, but Michaels really helps in a pinch. Personally I buy cardstock by the ream, to paint cards with, from Michaels, and cards in the package, that I paint that come with the envelopes. I also buy acrylic paint from Michaels, and brushes. It is a good idea to support your local art store if you are an artist, because if we had to do everything on-line, wed have to wait 48 hours to get stuff. Brick and mortar rules!

They kept pushing items I really didnt want. When I asked for more information, it was commonly met with a blank stare. I found out after some research that all of the framing is done in their warehouse, not in their store. I didnt like the idea of my artwork traveling to get framed so I ended up taking it to a locally owned store and the prices were even better without the weekly "50%" off coupon

We came here to get some last minute craft supplies for a project that I was working on. I love the fact that they have the 40% off coupon on their app and can use it anytime. I love the selection that they have and if you need to find anything the staff is generally very helpful in assisting you

HORRIBLE service here. Very poorly trained employees. I have tried this store several times, and always come away wondering how it is staying in business. Take your money elsewhere, like Hobby Lobby 5030 West Main Street Kalamazoo, MI 49006.

Great craft supplies. Smaller than Hobby Lobby but more focused on art/crafts. Prices are competitive with similar stores. Can feel a tad cramped sometimes. And they should rethink the cashier area, but overall a good stop.

This is your typical Michaels. A huge store with a large selection of crafting products and minimal staff to help you. Dont get me wrong, I love Michaels but their lack of staff is frustrating sometimes.
