I must say that this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. My husband and I were looking for fabric to cover a set of 6 chairs. We had questions about fabric: which kind we would need, how much, would we need padding...etc. We took a number and waited patiently for a woman with ZERO knowledge to tell us that we could go look around for ourselves in "that area over there" and when we were finished we could take another number and wait some more. Frustrated, we did just that. We selected a fabric and padding we HOPED would work. Is this customer service? We continued to wait... and wait... and wait. My husband made a comment about the length of time we spent waiting at the store and another customer said, "Just wait until you get to the check out line! Its even WORSE!" The woman behind us agreed and nodded her head. So after at least 20 more minutes we realized that this was not the day, time, or PLACE and we left. Especially if there was much more waiting ahead. After we left, my husband called the store and asked to speak to the manager. Apparently, they dont have one because their only manager is on maternity leave. My husband explained to the woman, who said she would be able to handle his concern, our poor experience. With all of her "uh huhs" it was clear that she didnt care in the least. It was obvious that loosing our business today didnt bother her and when he said that we would go somewhere else she said goodbye. In my opinion, the store is under staffed and over rated. The system they use is extremely flawed and in all the time we were there not one customer was greeted by a member of their staff. There is a blatant disregard for their customers time with no one available to answer questions or do more than point to the corner of the store in order to "help". I would rather pay higher prices somewhere else then waste my time there ever again.

It never ceases to amaze me the top raters who merely comment about the overall selection and variety. So what? Thats why its called retail. How about actually rating over prices and the customer service? Half of Joanns prices are bottom-out ridiculous. $14 for a large bag of fiberfill! Sorry--but I can buy 3 large bags at Fields Fabrics for $12. And $16 - $25 for fiber pillow inserts? Are they kidding??? I can buy the same items at Walmart, Meijer, and Fields for half that cost. I think the only reason Joanns remains is because they are the staple name in the sewing/fabric industry. Whatever. Fields Fabrics gets my business.

Very poor customer service on the floor. I asked a woman where holiday adhesive stickers for glass (to paint over and remove) were. She looked at me as if I was asking a stupid question and said "we dont have anything like that here". Didnt bother to ask another person for me. Very rude behavior. So I proceeded to look myself and guess what I found? The exact thing I was looking for. I wont shop at this location anymore.

I love the selection, I love the location, I love the lay out. BUT....every time I am in this store the line to have fabric measured & Cut and then the line to check out go exceedingly slow. Sometimes slower than the time I have available and am not able to make my purchase. This causes me to always feel stressed out when there.

Located in the Centerpointe mall you can enter from the south parking lot off 28th St or from within the mall. They have a great selection of synthetic fur, very useful for making microphone windscreens. If the fur is shedding and making a mess of your clothing one of the guest service representatives will help you get it off.

I love Joann Fabrics. This location is far bigger and better than the one on Alpine. The only issue I have with this store is the restrooms are never taken care of. Other than that the products are always stocked and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Really nice staff at this location. The selection of fabrics is usually wide enough for my wife and I to find what we need. Prices csn be high on accessories so we usually buy those on amazon or wait for a big coupon.
