Im surprised by the negative reviews, but I have never had grooming done here. From a store point of view, this PetCo is great. The staff are all very friendly and seem to recognize you if youre a frequent customer. The place is always clean and smells good. Other pet stores Ive been to can be dirty and smelly, but not this store. They have just about everything in stock, large dog and cat food selections, frequent sales and specials, and a helpful staff. I would advise anyone to use Petcos website for most purchases. Nearly everything online is 40% cheaper and shipping is free over $49. Dont buy any major purchases in-store such as beds, furniture, or large amounts of food or youll be losing major cash. Their rewards program is easy and you get 5% back. Again, unless youre buying something small or that is urgently needed like food, litter, toys and other basics, I would use their website. So much cheaper and everything arrives within 3-4 days. This PetCo also has a cat adoption program partner. PetCo doesnt run the program, its run by Cat Crusade, which is a local humane society, but they have a constant stream of cute kittens and often times special breeds (Siamese, etc).

It is such a shame that all pets emporium closed down to this garbage place. My second time coming here due to getting bad information on grooming in which I had to make a extra trip. Dont waste your time. Especially at the grooming place! Unprofessional and they are no good at handling animals. They cant even handle a 4 month old puppy correctly. Grooming manager is unprofessional and knows nothing about dogs. The Store manager does not even get involved with poor service. He just stands there and says not one word! It starts at the top and i can see why this place is garbage! I will drive to davie even though its a huge inconvenience to the other pets emporium. I dont write comments but this is ridiculous! Hire animal people for a animal store!

Clean location and very friendly staff. I visited the store today just to get treats and there was a puppy class going on and Julian was so helpful in explaining everything to us (new puppy parents) we were able to watch a little bit of the lesson and the instructor (red haired lady-didnt catch her name) seemed awesome with the pups and their human parents. Will definitely be switching over to this location instead of the one we current go to!

Took my toy poodle for grooming and what a disaster!!! Grooming is awful, very uneven cut. If it were only the bad grooming I would not even comment...I would just move on and know not to go there again. Big problem is they cut my dogs leg with the shaver, has a deep wound. I ended up taking him to the vet ending up with an antibiotic shot, wearing a cone for a week and $136.00 bill. Meanwhile my poor dog is miserable and so are we.

2.25+ for 10 feaking crickets??? I asked for a price match to how all pets is and he rang it up to that, after asking about it he said no because they went outta business and I replied back saying the Davie store is still open, after this quick back and forth the guy was really really rude on his body movement bout getting the crickets and rude on how he replied. All pets had their crickets at 20 for 1$ awesome price match right?
