Today 1/24/15 I took my GSD puppy for vaccination from "Iluvmypet" company. The following are some notes I would like you to know about my experience at your store. The veterinarian today has guaranteed the loss of a customer due to the lack of people and dog skills this "vet" has. She was rude from the get go even to a child walking by the reptile section, even rude to her own coworkers & rude to me (the customer getting his dog abused) & even my father who was also just walking by and got nasty stares. Treated my $1500 purebred pedigree puppy like a sack of potatoes. I tried asking the "vet" about allergies and she cut me off and told me to go and ask a vet (??!?!!). She stuffed two full syringes of dewormer down the throat of my 25 lbs puppy in a matter of seconds (even though the assistant insisted it was too much dosage), squirted another dose of something down her nose in a very aggressive fashion with no care not to hurt my puppy and then stuck a needle in her side like the was striking a punching bag with no care what so ever. Do note my poor dog is now limping and has a sore lump the size of a golf ball. We waited in line for HOURS and we were within the first 20 there, just to be treated like dogs (not in a good way). I truly hope my puppy will be alright, if not you will be hearing from me and the press. If you value me at all as a customer I would appreciate you voice my complaint to the company you allow practice at your store in Plantation - 1793.

Listen.. the people here are always super nice. But its still a typical Petco.. if you cant meet the requirements for exotic animals then DONT KEEP THEM! I walk by and see this chameleon in agonizing pain with its body literally decaying from the mid section down as it tries to crawl with its remaining limbs. Who knows how long its been suffering this way, and how long theyll leave it for. The setup for it was far from properly correct... Simply animal abuse. Im not saying this place should be shut down, just dont keep animals you cant care for, and at least act like you give a damn.

this store is big, clean and organized. the whole staff is very helpful. I was impressed with how catered my dogs were when we came in for the first time. The groomer Gary was one of the first staff members to come up to us and greet us. showered our dogs with love and compliments and of course offered us his services which we had to sincerely decline because we were only there to buy new harnesses since pet supermarket has a limited selection. we were so happy with our experience we signed up for the rewards program and visit whenever we need anything for our pups.

The worst customer service ever! I called asking for some boots for my dog, she is 12 years old and she has Artritis, so our floor is to slippery for her. The girl who answer the phone was very rude, I asked for boots and I guess she didnt understood what I was saying and cut me off and said can you speak english? I was talking in ENGLISH, so she gave the phone to a coworker and said, I dont know what she wants, she doesnt speak English! I talked to the other girl in English and she understood perfectly what I was looking for.

The staff is unhelpful and rude. The store is always empty but when there are customers the employees do there best to ignore that you are there. The super tall male manager at one point was helpful but no longer cares. The other manger sits in the back office and yells to the other employees unprofessionally. While I was there they even made jokes that they didnt have a dog trainer because she was fired. Corporate needs to look at this location. I wouldnt be surprised if they went out of business at any moment.

Went in to store one day to buy aquarium plants. Get pushed out of way by customers then an employee so I leave. Come back the next day standing around looking for help to buy same thing no one helps so after 10 minutes I head to the door man at register says "have a good day" I reply how can I have a good day when come in twice and no one can help me" he just stares at me and lets me walk out.

Two people working in the entire store(including the cashier). The guy who is supposed to help everyone get things such as fish and crickets flirts with a girl for an hour as everyone waits, but then goes out and takes a joy ride with all the carts outside... The cashier seemed to be working quickly however. But we cant get everything ourselves, we need staff available for live things.

Had a great experience here. Gary, the groomer, was awesome! He was extremely friendly and was willing to squeeze in a grooming session for my AmStaff shortly before closing. My dog sometimes gives groomers a hard time when they try to clip her nails, but Gary was able to take care of it with no problem. Will definitely be coming back here again!

This Petco has a wide variety of things for your pets. Their prices are extremely high, even with their petco pals reward card. I had a very hard time getting someone to either help me or wait on me. Im hoping to try out their grooming center soon. They used to be a really great place to shop that really loved dogs. I wish that was still the case.

Excellent Groomers at this Petco! They really listen to each of my dogs characteristics & are able to modify their grooming accordingly. Always able to work us in for an appointment. And they pay attention to detail. My Dogs are always Happy when they come back from thier Spa Time here! And that, is priceless.

Im planning on getting a puppy very soon and was looking into obedience training. I found that the trainer is very knowledgeable. The training is also reasonable priced, they even have discounts sometimes. However, many of the dog supplies are over priced and I will get these things elsewhere.

All I can say is excellent all around. The staff is wonderful. Place is fully stocked and clean. Gary in grooming is absolutely the best even after our little Chihuahua decided to have a fit and bit him on the lip. Sorry Gary. Petco has won a customer for life. Great job!!!

They sold my friend a cat that had a virus. According to the vet, her kitty had the virus since she was born. Worst place ever. She spent over $2000 for her cat and put her to sleep today. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE

Pet owner since I was a kid. Currently have 3 dogs and 3 cats. Decent prices, helpful, friendly staff, wide selections. Buy almost all our pet supplies here. Every time I see the chameleon I want to take it home.

All the cases of Science Diet canned cat food were open and missing cans, everything is more expensive than it is on Amazon, and they keep the 38 pound bags of cat litter all the way in the back of the store.
