To address a previous review, I did NOT buy my bike from GRBC - though it happened to be a brand they currently sell - and was not treated with any ill-repute when I told them as much. Im a do-it-your-self bike mechanic. When I ran into something I couldnt figure out, I called the shop. Eric was extremely helpful on the phone, walking me through several possible solutions. When none of those worked, he invited me to take the bike into the shop, assuring me that theyd get to it as soon as possible, but not promising anything sooner than the next day. After tinkering with my ride for a little longer, I relented and brought my bike in. On entering the store, I was greeted by several staff members, and despite having two additional customers, they put my bike on the repair stand immediately. Within 20 minutes, my ride was ready to go! They straightened my bent derailleur-hanger (something beyond my limited skill set), tuned and adjusted the derailleur, and had me on my way. All this for $15!! On top of all this, the head mechanic took the time to explain that the bent derailleur-hanger made it impossible for me to adjust the derailleur properly (which was a relief to me - and my ego), and he also made note of a small, but common, mistake I made in routing the derailleur cable. Overall, an amazing experience. Thanks guys! Going to try to make it tonight for the group ride, but not likely!

I really enjoyed my experience and was able to learn a lot more about the bike that I have. Not only that, they took into consideration as to what I wanted and needed in a bike. They were also very realistic and up-front with the condition of my bike as well as the advise to buy a new bike rather than to fix my bike due to the overall cost. They were very sympathetic and gracious in explaining everything to me as I am not very familiar with the mechanics. Above all that, they straightened the back wheel into a ridable condition, oiled and loosened the chains as well as moving one of the brakes from an awkward position to a more comfortable position all without charge. They insisted that they did not really work on the bike yet I think it is the opposite. I am really appreciative and thankful for all they have done! If anything is to come up again, I will definitely be returning to them for more advice!

Stopped in looking for a Cannondale Bad Boy 1. They did not have it in stock but claimed to have one in for repairs. The bike was not the same model yet the clerk insisted it was. When I pointed out the missing features and inconsistencies, he said "Cannondale changed the model for 2018. He then tried to talk me into another bike (Cannondale Quick Carbon 1) which was also not in stock. He said he had a a "Quick 4 in stock and while the componets are different, the frame geometry is different, its essentially the same bike". Then he trotted out a womens Quick 4. At that point I walked out.

I bought a Tri bike from this place late last year. The staff is great. I have had numerous questions about this bike, and other things relating to cycling and they have always done their best to help me. I am pretty particular when it comes to my bikes for some reason, and probably pretty annoying but they put up with it. It is appreciated, and when I get around to buying a cross, road, or fat tire bike this will be the first place I go. Highly recommend. Jason, Ted, Steve all good dudes. Thanks GR Bike Co.

Best shop in town, Salsa central, awesome staff, bought two bikes from them in a short span of 5 months. Tyler, Joe, Steve, these guys rock, theres other staff members who are awesome too, from the ones at Fulton St to the ones in Ada. The events they put together and how they treat people. Why go anywhere else? I say they all should get a raise and a case of beer and some tacos. BTW props to Joe for always making sure my Unit was in great shape.

We were in from out of town and on a whim we decided to rent bikes and tour the city. The people at the store were unbelievably accommodating. They provided high quality bikes in great condition, a map, directions and even filled our water bottles. We ended up having a great ride and a great day. These folks are first rate!!

Loving the new location of GRBC. The store manager greeted us when we walked in and even showed us around the new shop! Great range of bikes from high end racing bikes to fun cruisers. Will definitely be getting my next bike here.

You cant ask for a better bicycle shop. They know their bikes and help people finding what the want or need. All the shops are staffed by amazing people. Tyler, Steve, and Joe at East Paris are fantastic and knowledgeable!

The East Paris location only sells the expensive high end bikes now. Head to one of their other locations if your looking for a commuter bike. Kind of strange this isnt noted on their website anywhere.

Its the stereotypical East Grand Rapids-style bike store. Plenty of eye candy sitting around for riders with deep pockets. Labor is fast and cheap.

Very helpful, staff is committed to getting you the right gear, not necessarily the most expensive gear.
