Parkside enabled my wife and I to have, hands down, the best bike shopping experience ever. I have been in and out of the shop for the past week deciding, indecisively, the most cost efficient way to get my wife and I riding. I purchased a converted road bike, thats now a fixie, friday and absolutely love it. It rides great and the mechanic work is solid. For my wife, we acquired a frame and wheel set, which we then took to Parkside for completion. On that very busy saturday afternoon Ben was great working with us on parts that would not only be suitable for this ride, but kept the cost low and the swag high! Needless to say my wife loves her bike and the two hours it took for Lance to assemble it, that day, was unbelievable and greatly appreciated. The customer service is second to none. Ben and Lance will go the extra mile for anyone, to ensure you leave the shop with a product that satisfies your every want and need, and most importantly all in a timely fashion. I have been to many local shops over the past several years and im glad to finally know exactly where to go for every bike related need.

First experience there, and I must say, by far the best experience Ive ever had at a bike shop....ever. The staff is humble and knowledgeable. Previous experiences at other local bike shops have been kind of disappointing. Other places were kind of pretentious, and the entire reason Im at a bicycle shop is because I value professionals who know more than I do, so why be condescending? I Digress...back to PARKSIDE....They tuned up an early 80s Schwinn Super Sport and made the bike ride like new. New tubes tires, bar wrap, pedal straps, and regulating everything else. The cycle technician called me to ask a couple questions on how I wanted the bike set up. The bike was done in three days, and the total was less than expected and quoted. Could not be more satisfied with my experience. Theyve gained a customer for life.

The experience at Parkside was GREAT!!! I havent rode a bike in 30 years, and for quite some time now been thinking about recreational road biking. With new technology and advancement in bikes there is a great deal to learn, thats where Ben (Parkside Founder) comes in...Ben is extremely knowledgable and was very helpful in leading me to the right choice of bike without the sales pressure and tactics of trying to make a sale. If I feel pressured or the salesman sounds gimmicky, I will walk out! But not at Parkside, they make you feel at ease as soon as you come in the door. Great first day with my new bike and love it!!! I will recommend Parkside to every one I know even if their not bike riders, who knows maybe they will become one! :) Thanks Ben! Greg

My husband and I went to Parkside today, and I dont normally write reviews, but after I left Parkside I was so HAPPY with my experience there! Ben was super friendly and helpful, he is very knowledgeable about the bikes and he has a passion for riding. Ive never been bike shopping before, so I was kind of overwhelmed with the process, but Ben and his team made me feel very comfortable. He went over and beyond in customer service. We left with a super tricked out bike, awesome glasses, helmet, water bottle......the works! Im so excited to ride my new bike and LOVE LOVE LOVE it! It is so pretty, I cant believe its mine..... and it makes me want to hit the road and ride forever. Thank you Parkside for igniting a love of riding in me!

My boyfriend and I decided that buying bikes would be the next big step in our relationship, and that it was! Ben and the crew at Parkside were extremely helpful in our search for our perfect bikes. In fact, my boyfriend and I came back four times over the course of the month to re-check the inventory. Each Saturday, Ben would walk us through all the new bikes so we could figure out what it was that we really wanted. We never felt any stress to make a purchase for the sake of making a purchase, and we are now elated with our new toys. This shop is truly a diamond in the rough, and the warranty allowed us to walk out of the store knowing that we will be taken care of in the future. Parkside Bikes Boutique is Louisville at its finest.

I ride my bike everyday and everywhere, and sadly know nothing about it. Popped a tube and went in to get it fixed. They were rather busy when I got there but Ben, the owner came right over and asked if I needed a tube and would i need them to change it. Despite being very busy he said to come back in 30 mins and it would be ready. When I returned it was not ready as I ended up needing a new tire, and he wanted to make sure that I was ok with that and right away gave me the very reasonable price. It took them no time at all to change the tire and have me out of there. Top notch service from friendly, knowledgable people. As soon as I can save a little, I look forward to getting my new wheels from them. Thanks again guys!

I visited Parkside intending to only shop for bikes. After a test ride, both owner Ben and his mechanic were eager to answer any question I had, while never being pushy. I left the shop to think on the purchase and continue shopping. Unfortunately it was after business hours when I settled on a decision. Ben was gracious enough to open his doors on a Saturday night, saving me four hours driving. His offer on my trade-in was more than fair. When there was a warranty issue after a few hundred miles, I called and scheduled an appointment for a small window of time I could be in the city. The shop was expecting me and completed the repair quickly and competently. Definitely recommend.

I just got a bike from there yesterday. Its a used road bike, just looking for something to get me from A to B, nothing fancy and didnt want to drop a lot of cash. I didnt know what I was looking for but Lance was really helpful and helped me pick out the right size for me. After a couple of test rides I chose my stallion and was assured that it was a quality bike. Rode it away, and noticed a small issue with the chain "skipping". I took it back in this morning and they were happy to fix it up. The bike is now in perfect shape, and I didnt waste a ton of money on it. A good place by all means!

In the past two years our family has bought 4 new bikes and Parkside is by far the BEST shop weve come across! My son bought a bike on a very busy Saturday, but was still given a lot of attention. The next day we went out for a ride and ended up getting a flat from glass. The shop was closed but Ben saw us and stopped to make sure nothing went wrong with the bike he just sold us. He opened the shop, fixed the flat for free and enabled us to enjoy the rest of our day! Ben knows how to treat his customers and is so friendly and genuine!! Plus, my son loves how his new bike performs!
