I have been meaning to write this review for sometime now and finally taking a bit of time on a rainy Sunday morning to post. I have been shopping here regularly for the last 4 years and always have a had a great experience. During my 4 year quest to finish an IronMan. VO2 proved to be an invaluable resource whether it was purchasing equipment, advice or just letting me use their restroom for a quick change of clothes after work to go on a bike ride. In addition to your typical bike shop products and services, they frequently host group training events that are free of charge. This is the kind of store that reminds me how important it is to buy local. Sure you can get great deals online and I am not immune to using Amazon to make purchases. However, Amazon does not have a mechanic or personal service you can get from a local shop. Not to mention having a tent setup at a local race to fix my gear when things go south. Thanks Jeff, Joe and in particular Peter for setting me up with a great bike, fittings and servicing my others so that I can spend more time riding and keeping the rubber side down.

this is the first review Ive ever written for any place Ive ever shopped at...thats how bad my experience was. It is; however, a wonderful place to go if you enjoy talking to walls. I purchased my first ever bike from them and it was a significant investment, which seemingly meant nothing to them. My bike had to be ordered...3 times they changed the arrival date, which i found out only after I called a couple days after it was supposed to be in. When the bike finally arrived I was excited to receive my "professional fitting" that i was told Id receive when it came in (and then theyd put it together). Instead I got there to find it was already assembled and such a fitting would require an additional fee and appointment. When you go to a place like VO2 youd expect to find people who are enthused about what they do and ready to educate others, or at least fake a smile. These guys are dull. Theres other bike shops nearby and even right down the street...go there instead.

This place has the worst costumer service of all time! I needed a new chain for my single speed bike, they insisted I was wrong about the size when I was right and when I tried leaving my bike there they insisted I take it with me because they didnt have enough room for it. Guess what!? youre a bike shop and you should make the room!! It gets better though, I came back the week afterwards to drop off my bike there when they had left me a message to do so and they told me to come back in a week (just to put on a chain)! I told them since they had the chain Id rather borrow their tool and put it on myself because it literally takes a few seconds to do. They refused my suggestion and I took my bike elsewhere. I will never go back and would highly discourage anyone from buying from them. I would give this place zero stars if I could. Sorry, but not sorry VO2.

Jeff and Kelli have it figured out. I was originally intimidated to go into VO2 because I thought it was for serious triathletes, but they welcomed me in, answered my questions and provided me with all of the services I needed to be successful with running groups biking groups and group swims. Great people who are dedicated to helping people succeed. There are a lot of serious athletes that are regulars at the store and its actually really inspiring getting to know them and hear their war stories. Thank you!

VO2 recently took care of a warranty claim with Specialized for me in three days. I took the defective shoes in on a Friday right before they closed, and before noon on Tuesday I got a call from the owner letting me know that the claim had been processed and he had a replacement shoe in my size waiting for me at the shop. Considering the shoe was purchased two years ago, I wasnt sure what to expect from either VO2 or Specialized but all parties were sympathetic and helpful.

This place is great! I could not have survived the last 3 years without them. I mountain bike and am constantly having to bring my bike in to have maintenance done. They always got my bike fixed within a day or two and it was always in great shape. The owner goes above and beyond to make sure the customers are satisfied, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

only store I have been to in a long time where serviceman went into a diatribe against their own shoes! actually felt like I was bothering them! wont return nor would I recommend any one to use their services, just as they dissuaded me from using them! (I am giving them two stars because it did look like they had a good selection...if only they cared to sell it)

Unbelievable, it took them 7 days to ship a wheel to Zipp!? I dropped the wheel on March 22nd and they shipped the wheel on March 29th!! Whats up with that VO2? Do you even care? Unfortunately we have to go thru dealer like them because Zipp doesnt work directly with consumers. Worst experience ever!! I hope management is reading these posts.

Great bike shop. Joe has always done me right and is extremely knowledgeable. I ride a lot, so I need service a lot, joe does a super job at getting my back up and running quickly. I bought a bike from this place and I have been waiting twelve days to receive my bike and nothing. First time they said was the shipping from the warehouse and now am waiting they assembly the bike. This service is the worst.
