This place is terrible... I went in to get a hamster after setting up everything I needed for him and I had asked a guy named Alfredo to help me out he was rude and just had the thought of going home he didnt even want to help.... and he brought his manager Bonnie and she was also rude... once he came back with keys he tells that theyre are bad pets cause the bite( Ive had hamsters before for long periods 2-3 year life spans... so I know them very well) After that I was signing the paper work and my brother was looking at the a hamster in the box and the guy disrespecting my brothers space shoved him and took it to the front... he couldve been more kind after all the I began to notice the condition of the animals.... the parakeets WERE BLEEDING.... they clearly dont have any care for the animals and could care less the place is terrible the staff are rude and they deserve to be told this in person.... I truly feel bad for the animals that have to suffer because of them

I am seriously considering stop buying my dogs products from Petco if they dont stop selling pets at their stores. Look at these poor animals. Dont they deserve to be free? It is sad to see that they have been mistreated like that. No fresh water, no fresh food and no place to play, stretch their wings and legs. Actually I may start making my dogs food at home! Do your research it is easy and possible. On another note, this store is filled with trash everywhere. Some of their counters are filled with empty coffee cups and poorly maintained. If they let you see that imagine what they dont!

I have been randomly coming in here since it opened and Ive had great luck with their freshwater fish. Then today I popped in just to see what they had and there were at least a dozen dead and many dyeing fish. Ive always found the service lacking but Im not new to the hobby so, I really dont need too much help. However, when the first employee you see is a knucklehead with pink hair, Ill pass. The other Petcos in the area have much friendlier and acceptable looking employees. Is there no dress code or care for the animals...really what happened here?

If I could give a half star I would. I called to find out information about dog grooming. I was told NO appointments then I was told NO appointments available EVER! I knew it was a mistake to call a chain for dog grooming but I was desperate. Customer service skills here SUCK! So if they cant answer a phone properly or generate business than i advise all to stick to local SMALL business. Found a groomer locally. Thanks petco for reminding me never to do business with u.

Scheduled my dogs second ever grooming appointment here and then they had to reschedule on a couple days notice because the groomer called out for that day. They later cancelled just hours before the rescheduled time because someone didnt show up for work and couldnt schedule me in for a week and a half. Why should my dog get knotted fur and long claws because of their incompetence? I called PetSmart in Saugus and they scheduled me in just two days away.

This is one of the best petco for aquatics and reptiles. All the tanks have crystal clear water and none of the fish in the tanks were dead except for the feeder fish. The reptiles are really healthy. The leopard geckos are nice a plump. Even the crickets are separated into 3 bins for different sizes from large,medium, to pinheads.

The store is brand new looking and shiny. The prices and selection on the other hand arent as shiny. Odds are you can find things cheaper online on Amazon. That being said, its a great stop if you need something in a pinch. There is no dog day care here, so keep that in mind.

The absolute worst place ever. The staff are unfriendly and not helpful at all. Not to mention they know NOTHING about any type of aquatic life. Heather is by far the rudest employee I have ever encountered. She should not be in the business of customer service.

Worst dog training service ever! The trainer is irresponsible and has a bad attitude. We called the manger to try to solve the issue but the manager never called back. Do not go to their store for dog training! It is a waste of money!
