Before making the almost two hour drive to Saugus yesterday I called this location to make sure the puppy I saw listed on their website was still available and to ask for a price. The girl who answered the phone was extremely rude, I wasnt even greeted with a hello but with some rustling noises and "yeah?" from the employee who answered. She quoted me $2,000 for the puppy and I told her Id be in shortly. I arrived almost two hours later and when I entered the almost empty store I wasnt greeted by either of the employees in uniform or the two other people hanging out behind the register with them. I looked at all the puppies who were crowded into small pens and spotted the one from the site. I approached a female employee who was in uniform but she was talking to two other women who were very obviously just her friends stopping by. I had to sit and wait until they had said their goodbyes before she even looked my way while I was waiting right there. I asked to see the puppy and possibly the other two in her pen. The girl told me to wait a few minutes, which I did. She then proceeded to grab the puppy after about a 15 minute wait and stick me and it in a play area while she stood outside and yelled acrossed the store to the two women behind the register not in uniform and put her hands in the play yard I was in, distracting the puppy from me. I asked her for the price to confirm and she quoted me $100 less than I was told on the phone. I played with the puppy for about five minutes and was pretty confident I would be purchasing her that day. Right in the middle of giving the pup some belly rubs she opens the pen door and said "time to put her back" she snatched up the puppy and proceeded to carry her up to chat with the girls still behind the register then around the store as she proceeded to talk to the next customers wanting play time with a different puppy while I was left sitting on the play pen floor. After this experience I decided to take my $1,900 to another pet shop where the staff had time to answer my questions. I will not fund a pet shop with rude employees who made it clear they did not care about my business.

Walked into the pet express in Saugus my father fell in love with the Pomeranian there and he wanted to see the price and if he can play with it. So we walked up to the register there was a girl there helping someone out. We waited and she saw us, after she helped the elder people in front of us she just looked at my father and I and walked by. I looked at my boyfriend like wow she going to ignore us. 2 min later she asked what can help us with we told her about the Pomeranian she gave us a look and said ok this room it might be dirty tho. I said its okay she brought the dog to us and she was soo rude giving us dirty looks and we were asking questions about the dog and if he comes with all his shots. She was giving us a hard time I had to ask for his price twice. We were with the dog for about 3 min shes like are you done with him. I looked at both my dad and my boyfriend and said yes shes then open the dog grab the dog in a rude way. This was the worst experience ever. Now shes like that with people imagine how she is with those poor animals such a rude person with no manners whatsoever. The best thing is she didnt give me the price she gave it to my boyfriend. Dont go there if you think your going to be greeted nicely

The only location that had french bulldogs was saugus so my husband and I went there to look at them. We found one that was of interest and we were able to bond with the little guy. I had been wanting a french bulldog for a very long time and now is the time to finally get one. We went back on Saturday and the little guy was still there. So my husband went through the financing and was approved but did not realize that dog was really 10,000 not what they were really asking for. When we brought the little guy home he seemed to be fine but then he had major poop attacks like 4. It was all over the place and his energy level was not good either. We feed him the next day and it took him seven hours to poop. We called pet express and told them all of this. We brought our little guy back not know that we had to return him which was devastating to us. They wanted their vet to check him out. It is now Wednesday and we have not heard anything and my husband has called everyday since Sunday to see what the status is. We are both extremely upset about this as we fell in love with this little guy but also do not want a sick pup at home as insurance for pups wont insure us, but I do not like being lied to.

The people are careless. They dont treat the dogs well.It seems as though they only care for money. The dogs are way over priced. They dont care who the dogs go to.They will give the dogs to anyone.Plus Im almost positive the dogs come from puppy mills. The dogs are young and teething, yet have no toy to chew on.When I offered to buy a toy for every dog, they refused. Why? because they dont care for the dogs. They make up lame excuses like "They might get used to it, and their future owner might not like that." RIDICULOUS!!!! I asked them many of questions regarding concern for the dogs. All their answers were excuses and lies( I believe). Many of the dogs didnt have food or water either and seemed very hungry. Some didnt even have a playmate. The cages are very small for them too.And it seems they dont get to get out a lot. When they were closing ( 6pm ). They didnt feed them or take them out for a walk before they left. They open again at 10am. Meaning that will be at least 16 hours before they eat again. Even longer for some others. All the puppys look very gloomy as well.I feel so bad for the dogs.I would consider this place as an animal abusive place. With mean and careless employees.

My experience with the Saugus store was an amazing one! The two girls there I believe were Sabrina and tammy if I am not mistaken, they were very helpful and did not hesitate to answer the million questions I had asked the especially seeing as we walked in half hour before closing due to not knowing the area very well. Even though it was closing time they did let us play with a few puppies that we were interested in and didnt rush us out the store, needless to say a lot of places probably wouldnt have let us. We did have an issue with the financing being filled out at a different location but they assured us they would hold the puppy for us until we returned the next day and spoke to the manager Anthony to get it fixed in which they kept their word. We finally got everything resolved when we returned the next day and Anthony was very thorough on everything and also let us know if we ever had any questions to call he was awesome. We ended bringing our puppy home that same day and I would definitely suggest this place to everyone amazing service, great and helpful employees and an awesome manager thanks for putting a smile on our faces!
