I do not recommend this place for doggie daycare. I brought my 15 week old puppy there for daycare for two weeks because I was told she would be out playing from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with an hour or two in a crate for lunch and a nap. Some days she was fine when she came home--other days she came home wet with urine and so agitated youd think she had been given 6 cups of coffee. After this happened the first time, I asked the staff how much time she had spent in the crate; I was given evasive answers: "It depends on the day", "I dont know", "The person who supervised her has already left", etc, Finally, someone there admitted that the puppy had been crated that day for 6 hours. When I later called to say that I needed to talk to someone about this extensive crating, I was told on several separate occasions that the manager or owner would call me--they never did. I now take my puppy to another doggie daycare where the dogs are not crated unless the owner requests it--she comes home tired and happy every day, I can see by other reviews that my puppy was not the only dog to have this happen. I have also used JM for training classes and have been very happy with those, but I will not leave my puppy there alone. PS After I posted this review, the owner did call me and we had what I thought was a reasonable conversation, However, a few days later I got two calls from the owner and one call from her lawyer threatening to sue me if I didnt take down my review, Stay tuned!

I respectfully disagree with the negative posts about JM Pet resort. The staff at JM is phenomenal and very attentive to all dogs. If there are incidents such as reported below the staff would call and alert the owner immediately. One time my bulldog was playing and really hurt her paw and nail, while in playgroup. JM called immediately told me how they tended to her wound, and what we should do over the next few days, which we did and she healed up nicely. Dogs are like kids they are bound to get injured on the playground. My dogs have come home dirty and and in the summer wet from playing in the pools during daycare. I expect my dogs to be like this because they had a long day or overnight visit and were outside playing in the dirt. I would recommend that if you want your dog super clean and smelling fresh after a day of daycare or boarding to use JM pet Resorts grooming service. Their groomers are amazing, my bulldogs love getting groomed there, so much so, that one of them feel asleep in the tub, and the other kept rolling over for belly rubs while getting brushed. JM Pet is truly the only place I would board my dog while Im away. Their facilities are amazing, and their staff is so knowledgeable and friendly.

The people behind the desk were very helpful. The veterinarian seemed very knowledgeable. However, I have come to question the staff when comes to my dog. It has been three occasions where I brought my dog to the pet resort, and hes come up with money poop between his claws, several deep scratches about his face. I do not think they are taking care of my dogs away I would like to see them taken care of. These are not ordinary play scratches, resulting me to believe that my dog was either involved in a fight or was mistreated. When question, it took them three hours to notify me. They told me that both dogs were placed on time out. Why was I not notified about the damages done, nor about the timeouts? I am not satisfied with the way theyve been taking care of my dog. – Update – 1/29/2014 I was contacted by the owner regarding my inconveniences and was offered free services. I bought my dog and then they made everything right I am now happy

We absolutely love J&M! My dog receives the best care and service and I know that they truly take care of all of the dogs who go there. When Im getting ready to take him there for daycare all I have to say is "Were going to school!"...then he runs to the door, bouncing up and down and ready to go. When I pick him up hes happy and tired and I know hes had a great day. The staff is wonderful and extremely friendly, and I love that I can pick up treats, food or other items while Im there, saving me a trip to an expensive pet store. Its also incredibly convenient, since once your dogs evaluation is done, you can drop them off any day for daycare without advanced notice. If I could give them more stars, I would...

I left my dog there for boarding for a week and when come back he lost at least 5lbs and he had piece of his ear cut off and scratches and bite marks all over his body especially his bell he had red bumps and teeth marks and scratches all over his belly and bite marks on his whole body and I brought him to get clean after and the people at petsmart were shocked at the way he looked they know him very well and they couldnt believe they said that they only heard bad things about there and he has been a complete different dog since got home not the happy dog he usually is so I would never recommend this place.

This place is a great place for dogs to be. I am not sure where the bad reviews are coming from. My puppy loves it there. Whenever I open the car door he RUSHES to the door and he rushes out back. He gets so ridiculously excited! He comes home happy and tired. Yes there are days that he comes home completely filthy. He did the other day. But they have pools for them to jump in outdoors and so he rolls around in the mud and he gets dirty. They did give him a bath but they didnt get underneath his collar. I consider it that he is having fun. They have been SO SO good to him and they know him really well.

I love JM but recently there has been a big overturn in staff and I notice a decrease in service. Staff is always courteous and friendly. However I dont think they train the dog handlers efficiently. Most recently I had two different people retrieve my dog and they were not familiar with putting on her halti/gentle leader. One time she came out with it around her neck. I stopped to show the young fella how to put it on as he did not even know what it was. I think more training will help get the resort back up to standard in the dog handling area.

This is the ONLY place I trust to care for my dog when I travel! Boarding dogs participate in the same play groups as day care during the day, so she always comes home filthy & exhausted. They have webcams available for psycho dog parents (like me!), that you can watch on your phone and on your desktop. J.M. is also a great place to pick up food--the store is always stocked with a wide variety of high quality options and the friendly staff is knowledgeable and helpful in finding the right food for your dog. We love J.M.!
