AVOID THIS PLACE. I bought C300 in late 2008, and in 2009 suffered a brain injury, so I couldnt fight the fact that the heat doesnt ever heat up, in less than 1 hr. Their answer was to use "auto". Even set at 90 degrees the heat doesnt work. I suffered from serious PTSD after the brain injury in 2009 and didnt have the energy to walk, never mind fight this place on the problems w/ a brand new C300. The heat never worked right and still doesnt and they just come up w/ BS things for you to do, so they have to deal it with it, or do their job. See my next review... b/c in Nov., 2015, I had another serious problem with them. In Nov. 2015, was the final straw and even though they are just 5 mi. from my house, I will drive to Mercedes of Burlington, to just not deal with Smith, anymore. They screwed me for another $900 and broke my seat, while detailing, calling and telling me, thats theres a problem with the seat, when they broke it. It is the passenger (front) seat and no one can sit there, b/c its so forward, that its just a few inches from the glove compartment. This is too long a story to continue, here. But just know theyll screw you over, eventually.

I recently made my second new car purchase at Smith Motors. Both of those times Charlie Chadder was my salesman. Not only is the dealership clean, beautiful and inviting.....so is every single person I had the pleasure of speaking to in the car buying process. Charlie made every last detail easy. He answered every question in detail and he never seemed bothered or rushed. My delivery (both of them) was incredible. He went over everything. He made sure I knew how to operate every function, he did my pre-sets, he left no stone unturned. The delivery was so informative and detailed I couldnt believe it. There is not one thing I could complain about or say could be improved upon....this dealership and Charlie Chadder hit it out of the park. I am so happy with my new Mercedes and Smith Motors, they are true professionals. Loren Goldstein also helped with the finance portion and was also incredible, kind and patient. If you are looking to buy a Mercedes Benz~ Smith Motors and Charlie Chadder are the only people to see. Many Thanks to all!

I had a wonderful experience at this dealership. Randy was very helpful and not at all pushy. The dealership didnt have exactly what I wanted, they checked around for me and eventually we decided to order from the factory. Randy gave me the best deal without the back and forth I have had to deal with at other dealerships, making the car buying experience much more enjoyable. I received my car this past Thursday and I couldnt be happier. The finance department was able to match a rate I was quoted from a local bank. Randy took a great deal of time going over all the unique features of the car; he was thorough and patient, there is a lot to learn! He took the car to get an inspection sticker too, one less thing I had to deal with. I couldnt be happier with my experience at Smith Motors and with my beautiful new car. I look forward to the joy of driving my new Mercedes. Thanks Randy and thanks Smith Motors.

Roger Waugh and Loren Goldstein were terrific to deal with in order to purchase a 2015 E350 for my mother. They made the buying process very straightforward, answered all my questions and even helped with arranging shipping. The MB 1.99% financing was also a nice option. The offsite internet team for Smith was dismal, non-responsive and almost cost the dealership an easy sale. Thankfully I reached out to Roger directly and he made it right. I cannot imagine how many sales they have lost due to the bad first impression from the internet team. This is probably the sixth auto Ive bought online and I have never experienced a worse response.

We have had our 2006 R350 to Smith for service three times over the past seven months and they cannot seem to figure out what is wrong with the fuel system. The first time this happened, they admit they were incorrect in their diagnosis. They then replaced the motor control module. Then they replaced the fuel pump[. We just picked our car up two days ago and already the same problem is occurring. We have paid over $2500 on the first three visits; hopefully, this visit will be covered. I question Smith Motors technicians and their training and ability to diagnose and repair problems.

I came here recently while searching for a pre-owned luxury car. Out of all the dealerships I went to, I have to say that this is the one I was treated most fairly at. Once the salesman (Mike Steere) realized I might not actually be buying a car that day, he still treated me the same. Which is more than I can say for most other salesmen that I dealt with. He answered all my questions and was not trying to rush me. This place knows the value of great customer service. Once I can afford my dream car, I will definitely be returning here.

David from the service department was great. I submitted a question regarding pricing for a service via their website during off hours and I promptly received a call with all of the details and estimated pricing outlined the next morning. When I called back, David answered a few follow up questions I had and gave me the instructions on how to use he after hours drop off. when my service was complete, he called me back to let me know, and honored a coupon I found on their website without any hassle. Great experience!

Since I was on a road trip, my service consultant, Craig Tedeschi, reassured me the work would be done correctly and in a timely manner to get me to New London for my scheduled ferry departure.
