I had a great experience here with Giuseppe. When I first came in I didnt think I wanted a Subaru at all based on the car racks that reminded me of my moms station wagon growing up- but I knew from my friends that they were great cars that held their value and from previously buying a Toyota Yaris in 2009, paying it off and having it worth pretty much nothing- I was open to that option. Plus AWD in New England wasnt a bad idea! I was really looking for a new vehicle to help with my shoulder pain due to having two shoulder surgeries- I needed heated, larger seats that didnt push my shoulders forward. Giuseppe listened to me right off the bat and had my test drive a Subaru Forester Premium 2.5i. I loved the seats and all the added features but going from a Toyota Yaris 5 door hatchback to an SUV seemed extreme since I drive to the city for work daily and parking can be an issue. Next he had me try a Crosstrek but I immediately knew the seats wouldnt work for me just by sitting in it (it had the same bucket seats as my Yaris) and we didnt even take it for a ride. He understood what I was saying. I thanked him for helping me out and explained I was just starting to car search and had plans to visit a couple other dealerships during the day and test drive a few more options. He wasnt pushy at all, which I completely loved! -Totally different experience then I had at both Toyota and Honda. Giuseppe gave me his card and told me to reach him by cell if I had any questions, etc. I test drove a couple other cars but I couldnt get those seats and how comfy and perfect the forester was out of my head! I called Giuseppe Monday morning and asked him for more details about the forester so I could do some research and he was super helpful and suggested I look on true car and gave me some bank suggestions for looking up rates so I would be ready if I decided to buy the vehicle. I went in that night with my boyfriend and test drove the Forester again and had some quick negotiations armed with the information I had researched earlier and the process was so simple. Nothing like what I went through years ago purchasing my Toyota brand new. Giuseppe was no bullshit and straight to the point. Being a small business owner I appreciate someone who listens to me and doesnt waste my time. We closed the deal and looking at my schedule, I was only able to come in Thursday to do the paperwork for the financing- this was one of his days off. He set up the financing for me and even came off on his morning off to make sure I was all set. I came in at 10am and was out the door by 10:20am- it was GREAT! Giuseppe made sure my car was ready for pick up with plates etc. for Saturday and showed me the ins and outs of my new car when I arrived that day. He told me I could message him if I had any questions down the line and when I couldnt figure out how to adjust my clock and dates due to the owner manual referring to buttons that were not on my new subaru- he face-timed me and showed me exactly what to do to fix it. How cool is that! Overall I would recommend this dealership and specifically Giuseppe to anyone looking for an honest, no bullshit car salesman and a great vehicle overall. I love my Subaru and cant believe I didnt make this move sooner!

tl;dr; If you dont buy from this Subaru they harass you first professionally then personally both through email and via phone. First visit; sales person did not care one bit about us being there and showed absolutely no interest in helping us so we left. First electronic communication; spoke with Allison to set up an appointment based on confirmation that a certain car we were looking for was in stock despite the website not showing it and showing a car we wanted to see that we were told wasnt there. Show up for appointment; spoke with Bill (not the person we set the appointment up with) and he said that car was not on the lot and of course had no idea we were coming nor who told us the car was there. They would not help us find a car without putting a down payment on a car 1. they did not have in their possession and 2. we had not even seen nor test driven. We called another Subaru on their lot and they not only found the car we wanted at a different Subaru in 10 minutes, they offered to pick it up for us and let us test drive it before we paid them for all that trouble. This was November. In January - Im still receiving calls and emails from Clay and I ask them to stop and say they are harassing me since I have unsubscribed from their mailing list multiple times. Within 30 minutes of sending that email and blocking the Clay numbers I receive three No Caller ID calls and voicemails with strange noises. I plan on reporting this department and employees to the General Manager and whoever else will listen. Any more calls and Im reporting to the police.

I brought my car in for service 9/19/2011 and left completely dissatisfied. My service engine light was on and I needed an oil change, I had been bringing my car there for over a year for oil changes so I thought I would have them diagnose it and more then likely service it. The total for an oxygen sensor and oil change was $ 476.03 which to tell you the truth sounded awfully high. Does it take over 2 hours to change an oxygen sensor? I dont think so. I had someone go over the charges with me before I left. I turned out of there and within a few minutes noticed that my steering wheel had been torn up on the lower left portion. I turned back and went back figuring if Im going to pay 476.03 they should be able to fix my car without tearing up my steering wheel. I showed it to the service manager who promptly felt it and told me it felt like it wasnt "fresh"??? I honestly know for a fact that wasnt there when I dropped the car off, and truly I wouldnt have gone back to be confrontational. He than said "Theres no was Im putting a new steering wheel on" Its funny the bottom of the invoice says "If you are not completely satisfied call me" What a crock! Dont go here, and Im certainly voting for the "right to repair" next time around. This dealership is not different than all the other bad ones!! Dont go here! And Im for real and will tell anyone my story and show them the tears

I am very surprised to see how many people had a good experience here. Maybe they just didnt deal with the person that I dealt with. I feel bad because the salesperson was very kind & did a good job. I had made an offer to purchase the vehicle the next day at a price that both myself & the salesperson felt was fair ($500 over invoice). I asked that I could just leave a deposit & come back the next day to do paperwork as I had to pick up my children from school. When the salesman approached the sales manager to present my offer he yelled at the salesman & started swearing at him because he "interrupted his conversation about the Miami Heat". He then came over & rudely introduced himself as Patrick. He told me that "Only "strokers" leave deposits & Im not just going to give you a number to go shop with!" He yelled at me "People like you do this all the time!". I was offended & asked him for my car keys to the vehicle I was going to trade in & then he said "Take your keys back & get out of MY dealership!". I was so offended I drove all the way to Quincy the next day & actually got the car for under invoice at Quirk. They treated me fairly & I got a great price there. I just feel bad for the salesman & what they obviously have to put up with. I couldnt believe Patricks tone of voice & obscenities he shouted across the showroom for even me to hear. I will never go back.
