Were do I begin. If I could also rate this review lower I would, I have kept my review to myself for the past year, but since I heard this dealership wanted to say things about myself to other dealers, I figured id say my piece. I purchased my SUV last Valentines day. I felt like my vehicle had a Friday night date night every week at Stateline. Every 2 days my check engine light was on, first it was this coil pack, then that coil pack .. I knew the motor was no good but they insisted it was the coil packs. Well by the 7th time I brought the truck back they finally owned up to the fact that it needed a motor, because I had what looked to be like ice coffee with extra cream pouring out of my front end. But not just one motor lets try putting in 3. And the last time I had to pay the mechanic myself. The nerve of the owner who had the actual audacity to say that I BEAT on the truck. Please explain to me how that is possible when it was their every two days or at least every weekend? And it was on the back of a flat bed more than on the road if anything? I had to break down and get AAA for the stupid thing. I tried to be nice, I tried to let my husband handle it but it was insane. They completely sold me a lemon and till this day Im waiting on paper work for the last motor they put in. I also ran into the issue of contacting a lawyer and wanting my money back. But also for me, they did us a " favor " and wrote that I purchased the SUV for $2000.00 when in all reality I paid $6000.00 CASH! He had the nerve to tell another dealer that I BEAT on the truck and thats why it was the way it was and he paid for all the motors an installs. I paid for the last install, I paid for an AC compressor because the truck had no AC and I was 8 months pregnant thank you! and he knew I was pregnant. I have all the receipts to prove it. He has a lot of nerve to say anything about me but in all reality Im the one who was stupid enough to purchase from him. Last time I checked he was in the paper for only having a temporary license and is only allowed 30 vehicles at a time and he has 60 days to get rid of 180 vehicles he ISNT suppose to have. So you can bet your bottom dollar I dont refer anyone to him, and no I have nothing nice to say about him. Because if I beat on my truck the way he says I did, why didnt he just push me away at my 30 day of my warranty being up? because he knows he sold me a lemon, and he KNOWS I didnt beat on that truck, Im a mother of 3 who has my kids with me every time so if it helps him sleep better at night to say I beat on the truck then good for him, but he knows damn well the truck was a lemon. And if he hadnt of made that comment to the other dealer I purchased from I wouldnt be writing this right now. So enjoy ! I rate Stateline a negative 100!

Would Rate less If I could, My girlfriend recently purchased a convertible from these guys. They were extremely friendly, and did what they could to help us out before the purchase. Although it was in a way to benefit them more than it was to help us. When we did decided to buy the car, we talked money and bartered as usual. They were stiff on their price, but we were able to work out a small deal. Their idea of a deal was to write out the bill of sale, 3,000 cheaper than what we paid, to have less sales tax on the final cost. Sounded great at that time, but when we ran into problems with the car, there was no way to return the car at full price, as there was no proof we paid what we did, as they also requested cash. During the test drive, the check engine light came on, so naturally we asked them to fix this issue, so we wouldnt have an issue down the road. Of course 2 days after picking up the car, the engine light came back on. They never fixed anything, rather they just cleared the code and drove it to pass for a sticker, and gave it to us. We had to take more time out of our day to bring it back and get it fixed for real this time. Wasnt the end of the world, but a small hassle dealing with work schedules. The biggest issue we had which is why I am writing this review, was the convertible top. Not even a week after we bought this, the roof was leaking. I called them back and spoke with the sales man, he said that it was weird that it was leaking, because it wasnt when it was on the lot. Kind of hard to believe that when it was almost as bad as if the top were down while it was raining. We brought it back and they told me the 30 day warranty, only covered power train. We just spent 4,000 on a car and had it for a week and they refused to do anything other than "clean the gaskets". We had to go about it ourselves and have the entire canvas top replaced. I fully understand this is a used car, but no dealer should be selling a car that leaks water. Especially into the front seats where the driver sits. I will not be buying another car from these guys, nor will I recommend them to anyone else. Im sure they have helped many people in the past, present and will in the future, I just wanted to share my experience so other people know who they are working with.

waited 2 monthes to write this review in case anything came up. First off, the car buying experience was great. I had been searching for a small pick up truck for about 5 monthes before purchasing one from stateline. They had the best price, by a couple thousand dollars, for a gmc canyon. I was worried about getting a loan with my bad credit, but stateline was able to get me a loan with a very low interest rate. The whole buying process was quick and easy. They also gave me a great price for my trade in. The only negative thing i have about stateline is the service department. After a month of having my truck the drivers side headlight was out and the serpentine belt needed to be replaced. I mentioned the drivers side headlight when i took the truck for a test drive and was assured itd be fixed. By looking at the serpentine belt it is obvious it should have been replaced a while ago (VERY cracked). When i called to bring the truck in for service i was told id get a call back. I called again 6 hours later and was told again id get a call back before 6pm. Finally got a call around 7pm from someone offering to work on the truck at night at a different shop which i thought was very weird. I ended up taking the truck somewhere else, but dissappointed that i cant get a call back with in a reasonable time frame or have service done there. Overall, good place to buy a vehical from, but not to great after the purchase is complete.
