So far - not a good experience. We have used them in the past and had an excellent experience. We recently called and set up account for a rental property and authorized a specific dollar amount for the repair. The repair person came and told the tenant to unplug the refridge and leave it for 24 hours while he got authorization for the repair. Was it poor internal company communication about the pre-authorized repair or did the repair person just want to quit for the night because it was after 5 pm? From past experience, the repair person would defrost the drain hose and install a heating element - not tell someone to unplug a fridge and leave it. The repair guy left a message to call him back, but his voicemail was full. I then called the company and was given a different number to call him, but never got a call back. Pretty poor customer service, and they have still left my tenant hanging.

Went to get a new dishwasher. The selection isnt bad thought its pretty much all Whirlpool and Maytag units. Prices are competitive with the big box stores, some units were cheeper some were more expensive. The sales guy seemed to be a bit, overwhelmed is the word i suppose i am looking for. But he was nice and helpful. Only problems i can see is that its a bit out of the way not not the easiest place to find, in a industrial park on the opposite side of the beltway from the old Golden Ring Mall. It did feel good giving a local business my patronage as opposed to a big box.

I had a refrigerator call set up and was told "get a new one" - I knew it was broken and didnt need to pay a tech $100 for a visit to confirm. I also went to the parts department for a part to try to repair it while I was waiting for the tech to arrive. I was told I couldnt return an unused part because the bag it was in was open. Be sure to check terms of returns prior to buying parts from them - theres nothing on the receipts to indicate terms. A new refrigerator purchased from Landers went up after 7 years and after this I wont ever deal with them again.

Scott was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He diagnosed and fixed our gas dryer very quickly (and didnt act haphazardly through the house like a repair person I had from Gulf Appliances). Probably the best quality of Scott, however, was that he was very sincere. He did not pressure me to fix the problem immediately and was very upfront. He was also very patient and answered my zillions of questions about how things work because Im very curious about these things. Highly recommended.

We had a 15 year old GE fridge/freezer fail (freezer was frosting up, stopped working). Called Landers midday on Friday and had a service person (Billy) at the house at 9:30 Saturday. He quickly diagnosed the problem and we were back up and running for a reasonable sum, which now gives us time to do a careful search for our next appliance. Definitely worth the amount paid, would definitely call Landers again if necessary - and would certainly ask for Billy again!

We have had a great experience. Way better than dealing with Sears. When you call, someone answers the phone and they can usually get someone to your home same day or next day.
