We happened into Varneys one rainy Friday looking to discuss a new p/u for my husband; we left a couple hours later with a new truck for him and a new car for me. Typically, I truly dislike the actions of automobile salespeople and the car buying process overall - I am not an easy person to impress as my nonsense tolerance acceptance level is extraordinarily low. However, Dave Warme made the entire experience...enjoyable! No pressure, no craziness, and most importantly no hype! Dave is an overall nice guy that answered questions and put together a package that worked very nicely for us. We now have a GMC p/u and a Buick Verano (neatest car ever!!!). I even brought my new car home that evening without anyone at Varneys having seen the car I was trading in. I cannot stress enough how well the entire process went; everyone we worked with at Varneys has been wonderful. Varneys is an organization that specializes in connecting car and driver...just exactly what an automobile dealership is supposed to do...and they do it very well. I have just changed my rating of Varney from 5 stars to 3. The reason is this. Once our transaction was finished, it cropped up several times that Varney didnt have us sign all of the paperwork and we had to drive back several times over the next few days. We live an hour away. Then, the spelling of our name and the name of our street were butchered. Varney sent a corrected form with more misspellings. Geez, this is our truck title were talking about! It appears they just dont want to start over and do the form correctly and just dont care if my legal documents are correct. Whoever is compiling the customers legal documents should not be struggling with simple spelling so much. Our address was also incorrectly entered even though we told Matt, the salesman, several times the correct address. Now we get another form from the state and still no title. What a pain in the butt, all because of sloppy paperwork. Wont buy from this dealership again.

When I went to Varneys I had 9 months left on my lease with a Honda Civic. I went with the purpose of exploring some options and seeing what I liked. While I was there, Jared helped me to find a and test drive the GMC Terrain and Mazda CX-5. I drove the terrain first and my search was over. I absolutely fell in love with my terrain, it is a very confront able and smooth ride. Each time I drive my terrain I fall in love with it even more. I feel much safer with an SUV in the upcoming winter. My experience with Varneys was amazing- I had money left to lay on my old lease and was still able to lease my terrain at an extremely reasonable price. My salesman Jared made what could have been a very stressful experience one of the best Ive ever had. Thank you Varneys and thank you Jared for my awesome terrain, you guys rock!

I had the pleasure of dealing with Jared when deciding on my new truck. He asked me what I was looking for in a truck and found a GMC Sierra that fit my needs perfectly. When I told him that I was still going to shop around and look at other dealers and brands, he invited me to come back to the dealership on a test drive and compare the two vehicles side by side, and bring the other salesman if they wanted. After shopping around at countless dealerships, nobody could touch Varneys offer or service. Their no pressure sales approach truly made it enjoyable to lease my new truck. I certainly would recommend Varneys as a dealer, and Jared as a salesman. You wont be disappointed!

While plowing on a Sunday morning a check engine light came on telling me I only had 175 miles left until I was limited to 65mph or less. Didnt leave me with a warm and fuzzy feeling seeing as it is my companys main truck. However, I messaged my salesman and he told me to drop it off Monday morning and it would be taken care of. I dropped it off about 8 AM and Jeff Schencks took great care of me and said they would fit it in. They also did an oil change as that was almost due as well. I left and went snowmobiling and when I returned home the truck was ready before 4:30. Great service!

We are highly satisfied with our 2017 Terrain! Dylan was a very knowledgeable, confident, straightforward salesman who answered all of our questions with ease. He really took the time to talk with us and found us exactly what we were looking for! He was never pushy and didnt try to rush us through the sale even though it was close to closing time! Excellent experience with Varney service. Frustrated however with the fact that both my headlight bulbs burned out on my 2014 Sierra with less than 20,000 miles. I’m 55 and don’t recall having headlight issues with any other vehicles in the past. Seems like I meet a lot of GM’s on the road with a light out,and a coworker with a 2015 has had one of his go out already. Kinda scary and unacceptable,could get costly after warranty expires.

Varney GMC is a great dealership with great staff. This my 5th vehicle purchased through Varneys since September of 2014 and probably 15 vehicles overall. Woody is great salesman. He is very fun to deal with and has made all 5 recent purchases go very smooth. Then there is the service department, they are 2nd to none. John and the rest of the guys always see that things are taken care of and are always great to deal with.

Phenomenon service dept. They are far more knowledgeable and have more in stock parts to fix your GMC than a typical GMC dealer. The service advisors know what they are talking about as well. I ended up here with a serious issue on a road trip that would have left me stranded for days at an average dealership. They had me back on the road in 4 hours. Thanks John Banasiak and crew!

Over the years I have made many purchases at many different dealerships. I have now made 2 consecutive purchases at Varney GMC and rate both experiences as the friendliest, easiest, and most pressure free I have encountered. Above all, I leave having made a purchase I feel good about. When its time for another trade I wont have to shop around, Ill be heading back to Varneys.

One of the best experiences in visiting a dealership I ever had. No pressure and just a very knowledgeable sales person. I met with Jarred and he explained the differences between the GMC and the Ford which has swayed me to purchase the GMC. I will be recommending to my friends they visit with this nice young man.
