This are a small store, but have a good selection of animals compared to Incredipet (which of course only have fish). When I was there they had 4-5 types of bird including a Sun Conure, 4 types of small mammals and 4-5 reptiles. They seemed to be very well stocked in cages, accessories and food. There are no lines like there always are at Petsmart, and they dont bug you to "donate a dollar" every time you check out. It is much cleaner than the Animal House, or Eastland Pets (which is now closed) and a little cleaner than Petsmart. The staff are very nice, I chatted with them for about five minutes while they were helping me. I went there because they have live crickets in bulk (as opposed to the boxes) and at the best price in town, plus I wouldnt have to drive out to hamburg to get them! However, there were some negatives too. As I said above the store is small, so they dont have the large fish section that Just Fish, Incredipet (on Richmond Rd) or Petsmart has. Overall, I think I could make this my everyday store for food and supplies, and still makes trips out to the other stores if I need more selection. PS. In an earlier edit I had "The cricket cage was infested with some beetles and centipedes, so the crickets may not come from a reputable dealer (I will ask and update this review if I find out one way or another)." But since then the crickets have been clean, so it must have been one bad batch.

I was at the pet supermarket a few weeks ago to get crickets for my lizards and i was a few cents short,,there is a manager there,,for some reason hes always a jerk to me,,and that Sunday was no different,,so i went to my car to search for 3 pennies,,i tore my car up,,and he made a point to act like he was cleaning the store windows while i searched,,i had a heart attack that afternoon ,,and all that went thru my mind was how upset he had me,,mind you,,,he tries to upset me every time i am in there,,and i have pointed it out to employees,,and i can tell they arent sure how to handle him either,,My family has been customers with Regency Center since they opened,,but no more,,all over a few cents,,i guess i will find a new pet store to shop at,,Im sure if you ask the other employees they may tell you how rude he really is to people,,thank you for being my pet store for years,,,but until that lil tyrant is gone,,,I will no longer shop there,,

We would like everyone to know that as of today Pet Supermarket in the Regency Center will no longer be partnering with Woodstock Animal Foundation, Inc. to adopt out kittens or cats. We Thank Pet Supermarket & Staff for over 5 years of working with Woodstock as an adoption partner. We wish them continued success with their adoption programs. If you are looking to add a new kitten or cat we do have additional adoption partners located in the following location….. PetValu (Palomar Center, Euclid Ave & Hartland Center), PetSmart in Hamburg Shopping Center ( adoption events puppies & dogs ) , Sheabel Veterinary Clinic, and Most Valuable Pets in the Beaumont Center. In 2017 we will be adding new adoption partner. Please stay tuned for future announcements.

Was in today, Saturday, and asked a manager for advice. Middle-aged woman answers my "what should I buy?" question, but then told me I would ultimately need to see a vet for an antibiotic. So I asked if I could just get everything at the vet on Monday. She wouldnt answer my question and proceeded to lecture me by saying "would YOU want to be uncomfortable for a day?!?" She tried so hard to sell me this product and was ridiculous about her answer. I love my pet, and Im sure she does too. No reason to act like a lunatic. Avoid manager with glasses.

I have total 16 pets that covers 5 different species. Therefore, I have to frequently visit pet stores for one of their needs. After several visits to pet supermarket (Regency Center), I consistently feel that THIS IS NOT A PLACE FOR PET LOVERS. I doubt if they care for any pets. Its pure business for them. In lexington, I find PETSMART (Hamburg Pavilion) to be most pet friendly and caring. They provide best suggestions in best professional manner. In Future, NO NO NO to PetSupermarket for me! I will always prefer PETSMART (awesome).

Had the same problem as Christen Knight. We purchased a hamster and within 24 hours she was diagnosed with wet tail. They of course denied any wrong doing and were combative in their response, saying no other hamsters were sick, even though all of them were kept in the same pin. There is obviously a trend with them not caring properly for their hamsters. The manager could also learn a lesson or two about proper customer service and taking ownership of mistakes. They definitely wont get my money ever again.

I truly do lik this store and would have given 5 stars if it wasnt for one thing. Ive been in there several times in past couple weeks and they have a lovebirdvin there that is very sick, possibly psiticosis, which could potentially kill every bird in the place. Ive told them every time ive been in there that this baby needs a vet ASAP. To my knowledge they havent taken it, I hope they have since the last time I was in there.

They had a very helpful and informative staff when I came in. A guy who worked there helped me set up my fish tank and also answered plenty of questions I had about Beardies. I was very surprised to see how much they knew. My tank is doing great, cant wait to stop in and get my fish. Had a much better time here than that place in Beaumont. (Manager there was a dick) But regardless great place, great price, good staff!

My husband purchased a hamster for me a few days ago, and we noticed that she was lethargic yesterday. She also had some kind of infection because there was pus seeping out of places. When we woke up this morning she was dead. She was in a brand new cage by herself and there was nothing placed in there that could have attributed to her getting sick so fast. I would recommend not adopting any pets from this store.

Do NOT go here if you are looking for infrared lizard lights. The last 3 times I have tried to go here they have been out and appear to have only 1 small shipment a week. They have plenty of reptiles, but a huge deficit in red overnight heating sources. Incredipet on Southland had a much better selection, even though they dont carry reptiles.

Ive been shopping at Pet Supermarket regularly for 4 or 5 months now. All of the employees have been fantastic and are very knowledgeable of different types of animals. They take great care of the animals they have there from what I have seen. Their prices for the most part are cheaper than other places like PetsMart too.

Good selection though not as good as the PetSmart just a few miles down the road. Very convenient, with many other stores and restaurants surrounding it.
