Not happy with the service we got here. Got a hamster almost 2 weeks ago and found him not barely breathing and limp. Called and was told to bring him right in that hes covered under their 2 week warranty and they can have him looked at. I was told when I bought him that they have a vet onsite and would have him checked if needed. Got him there was told he wasnt breathing by a employee not vet. Was told to take him to the back to vet. Vet wouldnt see him pushed us to the side. Told me to look for someone in blue. Well employees there were not good at all. I needed help as I know temp change can make them hibernate and I have a dying or hibernating hamster I need looked at. 10 minutes trying to find help I go back to front and go off on employees who seen us but wouldnt answer the page. They said something wasnt right and would need the vet to check him but the vet was gone. Well if they had answered the page or helped when we got there he could had been seen. The more I think about it the more I get upset. They took him to back and said vet would check him in the morning. I should have kept him to see if he was hibernating but I thought he had passed. Still not sure really. Bad service, dont go by their word or warranty and I will be speaking to someone at this lady cation first thing in the morning. Not wet tail, was fine 2 hours before and I raised hammies for many years since I was a kid. Never before have I seen this.

Do not adopt from the cat adoption team. The woman who is the "president" of the adoption team is rude and hardly knows anything about cats, which you can consider ironic since shes the "president. We adopted a kitten from them who ended up having ringworm, and in return our other cat contracted it along with myself. So we returned the kitten got our money back and took our cat to the vet, who said that he has ringworm, which as I stated before, he got from the new kitten. So we had Donna (the"president") call us, to see if she would pay for his vet bills, you know since she said that the kitten was completely healthy and had nothing. She said no, why did you take him to the vet, just put a cream on it. His vet said that will do nothing since the ring worm is attached to the spores of his fur, which when they shed spread the bacteria, which is why it is so contagious. In order to get rid of it you have to give them medicine orally or it wont go away. SO in her asking why we took our cat to the vet is pretty stupid. She said that we cant prove that it came from the kitten but how else would a perfectly healthy cat get it? Shes an ignoramus who shouldnt be working with cats, especially when she isnt willing to take a sick cat to the vet. I implore you to not take any chances with them (the cat adoption team). Shes an idiot. That is all.

Spoke with 3 different associates, including the manager on duty, who all had very strong, yet different, answers to the exact same question. One associate was more than happy to sell us the fish we wanted, one absolutely refused (she seemed simply lazy and in a bad mood), and the manager refused but then said "Ill sell them to you without the warranty". This "manager" had the worst attitude of any retail store Ive ever dealt with. He questioned our current fish and seemed blown away when we told him our current tank size and that the fish have survived many months that way... the way every (actual) expert recommends. When handing us our fish, we said thank you, he replied "yeah". Look, if youre going to manage a retail store, make sure all associates, including yourself, are on the same page. Your bad attitude is not only uncalled for but it was childish; especially considering you & your employees were the reason for the confusion.

I brought fishes from store and most of them died. i was not aware of 14 days policy. i read online and took them there and i got the refund for the one i brought died. I brought some tiger barb fishes and they are alive but i was afraid they might died. I lost one of my receipt which had those fishes on them. i learn getting a email receipt is easy so that we will not lose them. Manager Tiffany was good after some talks she gave store credit and advise not to repeat without receipt. All the Store members i spoke are very friendly and understand customers need. they even test my aquarium water for couple times for free since my fishes were died. there was nothing wrong water but just some time fish didnt get settle on new aquarium. i got the refund for those fishes i brought back died with receipt within 14 days. if fish died after 14 days i think it is just our faith :)

I took my 5 month old German Shepherd there this morning for a grooming appointment. Since it was just a "puppy" appointment all they do is bath them, I also requested his nails be cut. When we got there it took the lady 20 mins to check him in and take him in the back. She then called me 20 mins later and said they are not able to bath him because he was to stressed out. (But they were able to cut his nails, which I still dont understand). When I got there to pick him up, I asked if they tried to give him treats or take him to the bathroom, they said no. (Hes a puppy for goodness sake!) As soon I took him to the car, he wanted to poop outside. Obviously these groomers need no qualifications, and have no idea how to treat a dog. I will never return to Petsmart after this experience.

There was dog poop in the aisle that we reported to two workers after I had stepped in it. We walked around for 30 minutes and walked by the aisle to see if it was still there and it hadnt been cleaned up. When we asked another employee about it, she told me she was in a private session and to tell someone else about it. Thought that it was blatantly disrespectful for her to say this to us when we had told two people about it already. While we were walking out, we noticed pee in another aisle. We will make sure to go elsewhere for any pet related needs

The help you get, when you get any, is uneducated and uncaring. When I went in today and there were two dead betas rotting in cups we told an employee who responded by saying "Yeah, this would have dropped sales tremendously" and rolled his eyes... I could care less about your sales, I just dont thInk animals should be rotting on display. Thats just disrespectful to the animal. I will not be back. I will go to Planet Pet down the road where the workers care about animals and not just sales.

I get toys here for my dogs all the time and they have a good selection. I bought something once that ended up being broken when I got it home, and they were great about getting me a replacement. I used the grooming service once and it was good overall. I also asked them to express my dogs glands, and when I picked her up they said the glands were fine, but she still seemed irritated. The vet later said that the glands were extremely full, so I dont think Ill ask them to do that again.
