I really wish I could give a good review because the sales representative who sold me my furniture was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, my overall experience was lacking. My husband is 7ft and some odd inches, hes a big fellow and requires sturdy furniture, when I asked the first sales rep if he knew the maximum weight for a dinning room set he just shrugged and said "how am I supposed to know?" I refused to have any farther dealings with him. The second rep was much more helpful though the best she could do was tell me which sets were better built. Finally we find the set we wanted. The table and bench were not in stock at the time so We specifically said we wanted the set shipped together. We did not want any loose chairs laying around that were to tall for our old table. While we were at it, we ordered a new bed and mattress that was in stock so it was going to be shipped early than the dinning room set. The worst part was delivery. The new bed was delivered, on time, along with ALL of the dinning room chairs we had stated we didnt want until the table and bench were in. The men who assembled the bed didnt tighten ANYTHING down. You could physically rock the headboard and the foundation was assembled crooked so there are gaps along every seam. Even the chairs were loose and had to be tightened to keep them from falling apart. I should have been paying more attention but I was trying to juggle my 1 year old son and newborn daughter while watching the assembly and didnt notice any of this until my husband got home from work. He had to go behind the guys and fix everything.... Im dreading when the rest of my dinning room set comes in. Ill definitely be paying attention this time.

The worst customer service Ive ever had in my life. Jennifer Valdez was hostile, rude, disrespectful, and did not show at any moment how to treat a customer. I Tried to pay off my account and she was very hostile claimed that i owed $ 1200 when I knew it was only $ 189 . the same amount later the manager confirmed after make my claim. she dont have any knowledge of the system and her attitude dont help her. she stood front me challenger, screaming and arguing with me as she were in a street fight . all this situation happened front other customers and inside the store. she tried to force me to paid a incorrect amount. Im not surprised to read other review about other customer had the same negative experience ,complaining her behavior and the managment still have her working there. be aware or be prepare to fight without any manager of the store come to verified what is happening inside the business. this day nobody came to me or to the desk to see what is happening. also the Value city manager bright with his/her absent.

My wife and I have purchased several pieces of furniture over the years from Value City. Last Thanksgiving we purchased a large leather recliner sofa. We picked it up ourselves because Value City was unable to deliver by Thanksgiving. We wanrted it for our Thanksgiving day party. We are having trouble with the recliner motor so I called for service. We have been told that we need to bring the sofa back into the store for repair. The reason we are being given is that when we chose to pick up the merchandise we voided any in homewarranty. This makes no sense to me. They tell me this disclaimer is written in small print on the back of the receipt. Value City has lost a good customer.

I normally dont write reviews, but my experience mirrors that of the majority of people that have posted negative reviews. I had someone recently come out and take a look at the sofa that we had purchased in 2012. The same problem surfaced again and I wanted the same service tech (who was wonderful I might add) to come take a look at it as he promised if the problem replicated itself. Unfortunately I was told that they cannot send someone back out since Im out of warranty and I was "fortunate" that a tech came out the first time and it cant happen again. I have made numerous purchases here and comtemplated going back, but not after this experience.

A tremendous hassle. Was promised a specific delivery date, and without being informed of there decision they changed the date to 21 days later. When I expressed my frustration they simply transferred my call all around the store, and simply told me if I want to come back to buy a different sectional Im more than welcome too. BUT WHAT GOOD DOES THAT DO?! I spent hours looking for one I liked and in my budget, and was promised a delivery date and they didnt keep their word or work with us. Will never be going back.

I had a wonderful experience with the store associates and AcceptanceNow. Paul Schultz was helpful and quick in attempting the first loan and presenting other options. The i went to AcceptanceNow and Alex was very helpful in navigating the speed bumps that occured, going beyond what i initially expected. And when i came back in on the 11th i was helped by Jennifer and Mkayla whom helped me save an extra $100 on my purchase. I also had fun laughing and carrying on with both of these young women.

In need of a dresser I went to Value City Furniture. I found one that I liked and was reasonably priced however, not in stock. I was in a time crunch to finish furnishing my sons room and get him organized before the weekend was out as school and a new job began the following week for me. The sales rep was able to get permission to sell me the floor model and I was able to take it home that day. Perfect fit, looks great, deep drawers, hes organized and I am a happy camper !

I cant stand high pressure furniture sales people. And Value City has about 800 sales people walking around. But all things considered, they left us alone and werent too pushy. Granted, we were asked by no less then 10 people in the 30 min we were there if wed been helped, but after saying yes and no thank you, theyd walk away. So, I feel like this is better than most places in terms of hassle. But I still ding them for the constant asking.

Worst experience. Family places are usually my favorite but this one is horrible. The couch I ordered was supposed to be delivered and when I waited on the day they said it was never set up even though I paid for it and watched someone set the delivery date up. Customer service was no help and they would not compensate me for my time or their mistake. I will never recommend to a friend or purchase anything from this company again.

Worst customer service experience I have ever had. After seeing JRs review on this hateful, rude girl jenifer from acceptance now, I had to let everyone know of my experience cause apparently she does this to everyone. Who calls a customer a liar and B***H? Insane. If it had not been for Ms. Suzy and the management at Acceptance now I never would have returned. She is in the wrong profession.

This store is crazy. Bought furniture, had to have it replaced because it was messed up. Got the replacement and it too was messed up. Finally exchange it out and its going on a month and still dont have it. Now they are telling us it will be a couple more weeks... WHAT A JOKE!!!!!
