Read this before buying - buyer beware. Dishonest sales staff. We decided on two recliners and a couch that we liked. Decided to take advantage of the 2 year 0% financing. Was VERY clear with the salesman that we did NOT want the warranty during the sales process. Multiple times I told him I was not interested. The final time it was offered I threatened to walk. We finally decide what we want and call the salesman several days later to place the order. He tells me the total and it sounds too high. Gary was his name. I would not buy from Gary. I tell him it sounds too high and he replies "no, that includes the two recliners and couch that you wanted." So I ask him to itemize it. Well, guess what? The WARRANTY is included in the total. I was furious. I asked him why he had included that when I had been so specific about NOT wanting it. Long story short, I bought the furniture. Terrible decision. Should have paid attention to the many red flags. Takes my wife forever to pick out furniture so I was just glad to finally be getting some. Now, fast forward a year and a half. The couch and chairs are falling apart. To be specific, there is about a 3 inch gap between the end reclining chair and the middle seat of the sofa when reclined (on both sides). Please note that I am 6 2" and weigh 210 lbs. My wife is 5 2" and no more than 110 lbs. No one else has used the couch / chairs. Couches are very poorly constructed. Weve bought a lot of furniture from Havertys in the past and have always had good luck but not this time. I appears that with the economic downturn, theyve significantly lessened the quality of their products and are pushing 0% financing deals to sell furniture. NOTE: The specific couch we purchased was the Stampede Reclining Sofa. We got the matching recliners with it. Our problems with the recliners is that the padding on the fold-out portion of the sofa is completely gone, so when sitting on the couch while barefoot, it feels like you have your feet resting against a piece of wood. Buyer beware. We spent $3k on crap and are now about to replace them. Should have gone elsewhere and will never shop Havertys again. Also be aware of Gary. He is dishonest.

I will NOT be shopping at Havertys again. I have been a customer since last year, furnishing my bedroom from your company. I was working on furnishing my living room when I had the most horrible, run around customer service experience. NO ONE has FIXED MY ISSUE and it is a month later. (Havertys credit card will NOT work online, only in stores) I wanted to place my order online. I prefer doing online to ensure delivery and details are error-free. I tried to purchase my order and I received the error prompt (billing and delivery does not match what Synchrony has on file). I called Synchrony a total of 3 times and customer service as well triple checking that they match and having one company tell me to call the other. Since no one could resolve my issue, the customer service directed me to the store to place my order over the phone. Placing the order over the phone was not favorable as my order was placed incorrectly (wrong delivery window). I went ahead and placed the order on the phone. The worst part is all the information matched, my information I tried to enter at home, and the order can process in store but not online. This is very frustrating as I do not want to have to always go in store when I make a purchase. Additionally, I called both Havertys and Synchrony Bank today to continue to troubleshoot before I take my business elsewhere. Everything matches on my Havertys credit account to my online account. The representative told me that because I changed my delivery address (5 minutes prior to the call) that that is why I cannot use my credit card because the addresses dont match. I had this issue last month, Friday and Saturday. My change of address right before the call has no effect on me being able to use my card this weekend because that change was made today. To this moment, I still cannot use my own credit card online. I am taking my money elsewhere. Loved Havertys until this experience. Dont ask me to get a Havertys card in store and dont allow me to use it online and not have anyone willing to submit a ticket to fix the issue instead of having me continuously call both companies back and forth.

WOW...unexpectedly shady experience. Was told the cost to change fabric was minimal (around $50.00)....after picking out the furniture and fabric the cost was half the cost of the chair (around ($300.00). What really set me off was that they tried to sneak in the $400.00 warranty at the last minute without saying anything. Despite this bought the furniture, almost $5,000 worth, and later called the same day to cancel the order. Was told the order was cancelled and we would be refunded w/in 3 days. The following day, I drove to the store to confirm the order was cancelled and it was not. I asked to speak to a manager about my negative experience, he/she was not there. I then asked if he/she would call me and left my number. Its been a full week and no call. The place is shady and they will upsell you and try to hide it....avoid at all costs

This place is by far the worst furniture store I have ever been to. For a place that claims to sell premium products, they sure cant deliver premium services. I ordered a $4000 furniture set about two months ago, and I finally received a letter saying that it has been delivered (more than 2 weeks later than promised) from the factory. Ive been trying to pay for it so I can set up a delivery date. It should be a simple task, but I cant seem to get through to anyone for over three days. These people either dont care about their customer or utterly are incompetent. They have never heard of cellphones in 2017 because its impossible to get hold of sales people. These people are worse than used car salesmen. I wont recommend salesman Ken and this store to my worst enemy.

The staff here is amazing! I went to many different furniture store with my Fiancé and it seems like everyone just brushes us off because we are young. At Havertys, however, it was the complete opposite they are so friendly and knowledgeable! I recently had furniture delivered and had some issues with minor damages and they were so helpful in resolving those issues promptly. They ended up deciding to replace one of my pieces. Great customer service.

I am pleased with the quality of the furniture that I purchased. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend having them deliver and install, otherwise your couch might be missing parts and it will take a week to get them.

Very happy with my amazing wooden executive computer desk. Delivery was top notch as well. Yes it was expensive, but it will last. I recommend havertys if you are looking for a nice executive desk.
