Unfortunately my experience with American Freight on Cobb Parkway was absolutely horrible. It actually started off as a pleasant layaway purchase. Denise, the woman who initially sold me the bedroom set was helpful and was willing to work with me AT FIRST. After I made my last payment, I was told that the bed I wanted was no longer being sold (this was not a problem because I knew this was a possibility when making a layaway purchase). However, the documents I received on the first day of purchase stated that , if after 4 weeks my merchandise was unavailable, I would be entitled to a full refund. Denise and the store manager (Scott was his name I think) told me that they would call around to see if they could find all the parts to my bed. Scott mentioned that it could take up to 6 weeks for him to find it. Another option was that I could look at the new sets that were coming in as a replacement. I called the store twice to speak with Denise about any updates, but she was unavailable. She finally called back and told me that they still had not gotten all pieces for my bed and that they only received one new bed since my last visit. (I was not going to view just one bed, especially since it was not the one I wanted originally). My last payment was Thursday, October 2nd. Exactly 4 weeks and 1 day later (Friday, October 31st) I went to American Freight to see if they had my bed. Of course they didnt, so I asked for a full refund. Denise immediately got on the phone with her regional manager (Dontaye) and he said that they had a bed at another location. My first thought was "Where was this bed 4 weeks ago when I finished my payments, and why is it suddenly available now that I want a refund?" To make a long story short, I did not receive my refund and I now have gotten my lawyer involved in what could have been a simple matter. Not only did I not get a refund, Scott was extremely rude and unprofessional. I was very shocked with Denise as well. The calm, helpful demeanor she displayed on previous occasions was nowhere to be found. I would strongly suggest getting your furniture from a more professional, reliable company. American Freight is neither of these. **Update- I finally got my refund a few weeks later.

HORRIBLE!! Besides the salesman being unprofessional and continuously hitting on me and trying to sell me DVDs out his car, I was unable to get a straight answer out of him about anything. He was telling me I had to order something we later found out they had in-house except one piece and if I ordered it he had no clue when it would come in. THE DELIVERY GUYS THEY USE ARE EVEN WORSE!! They cant give you an appointed time, I was told I would be called first thing Saturday morning when they get in but instead I had to call the store at 1pm just to be left on hold over six mins each time and wasnt helped until I had to call back the 3rd time!!... then the delivery guy returned my call after 2:30pm and told me he would be to me between 4:30-5pm and didnt show up until 8pm and stood at the door and would not bring anything in until he was paid in full... Where in America do you pay for a service before its rendered?????? Then when they were done he made a mention of a tip!?!? I hated everything about this experience so much so that I went to the Fulton Industrial location to buy the ottoman that goes with my furniture. Even though its wayyyy better people over there American freight will never see another red penny from me and I will tell anyone with an ear DO NOT SHOP THERE!!! They may have cheap furniture but the customer service is even cheaper.

Worst experience ever in my life. I went here to furnish my complete house and bought bed room set , dining and sofa. All the items are delivered on time but all are defective, each and every piece had some Defect and the person who came to fix took pictures and told he will let the manager know and some one will call me in 1 day. I did not get call for a week and then I tried calling the store. It took about 2 weeks to get to manager on phone. When I spoke to manager he says he need me to send photos again and get back to later. I sent all the photos of breakage.manager said he will fix everything soon.no one contacts for a month and then I call them after a month and explain whole situation again and they say they will fix soon. No one even follow up with you about the status. Furniture was delivered last week of Jan 2016 and till today July 2016 , my issues were not fixed. 2 months ago I called them and they said they will fix and no update after that. Buy furniture here if you need stress.

This place has the worst customer service ever!!!!!!!! when they say that they have same day delivery they dont. when it was the day of my delivery i had to call them they never called me because they were missing some things. every time i called they put me on hold and Will(by the way thats the name of the guy who provided the worst customer service ever) he never came to the phone. he would cont to put me on hold and say that he is handling it. all he did to me was lie. i didnt even receive my whole entire order on the day that it was supposed to come. i called him the following day and he told me he knew nothing about my remaining order. i had to drive all the way up to the store to get my money back. then he canceled my warranty for my other products that i bought without asking me if i still wanted it. i hate this store with a passion. if you do want to purchase something make the women help you because they are the only ones who seem to care about the customer .

Dont even think about shopping here just keep it moving. Honestly. The stuff in there looks good but its cheap af. We made the mistake of buying a bed frame and dining room set from them. The screws in the chairs began to fall out the same day we got them and the queen size bed frame had a gap (between where my mattress/box spring ended and the footboard) big enough for my son to fall through and it eventually fell apart the same month we got it and when I called to complain or have them replace the items that broke they said their warranty is 24hrs. A 24 hr warranty ?! Never have I EVER heard of a 24 hr warranty thats how you KNOW their products are TRASH. Not a YEAR like MAJORITY furniture places. Thats an even better sign to keep it moving because if your stuff breaks after 24 hours youre SOL and stuck buying more furniture.

Beyond satisfied with the customer service I received at this store!! I recently moved into my new place and American Freight has made furnishing easy. I purchased my mattress set and dresser for a reasonable price and was able to put my sectional/ottoman on layway for a couple months. When I returned the ottoman that I originally wanted was gone but the guys found me a better replacement! Every time I went in to this location I encountered someone different and the customer service was always the same; always beyond expectations and their not pushy! They just sit back and let you shop and help you make decisions as needed. Even down to the delivery guys Joe and TC. They were pleasant, careful with my furniture and assembled it like pros!!
