I am very pleased with my purchase from Windy City Triumph and wouldn’t hesitate to buy a motorcycle from them again. I would give them 4 ½ stars if I could. I’ve lowered my original 5 star rating due to a couple minor issues that happened after the sale. So consider my rating as 4 ½ stars. First, the transaction was smooth as silk. My salesman, Michele Barsanti, and the General Manager, JB Bussert were great! They were courteous and respectful and, most importantly, they were not high-pressure. (If they had been high-pressure, I would have simply walked out.) Buying a car, truck, or motorcycle can be a pain sometimes but these folks actually made the experience enjoyable. It was a pleasure to deal with them. Now, there are a couple things that came up that made me decide to lower my original rating a bit but they certainly wouldn’t discourage me from dealing with Windy City Triumph again. The first involves vouchers worth $400 towards the purchase of Triumph accessories that I was supposed to receive a few weeks after the sale. After about seven weeks I had still not received them so I emailed Windy City Triumph but received no response. I then contacted Triumph USA and they informed me that Windy City had failed to send in the paperwork to generate the vouchers and that it was too late for them to do so. Triumph USA then handled that but there were bugs in their system and it took a couple weeks for the vouchers to work. However, I have to say that the folks at Triumph USA were incredibly nice and helpful. They’re great people to deal with. When JB Bussert saw my updated review, he was concerned enough to contact me which tells me he really cares about customer satisfaction. He said that they had sent in the paperwork. He may be right because Triumph was having bugs in their system at the time. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt about that. However, once he knew about the problem, it would have been nice if he helped me straighten it out. As it was, I had to exchange emails, make several phone calls, and use and online chat to straighten the voucher problem out and it took a couple weeks to get it done. There was also a problem with getting responses to emails that I sent to Windy City. I was told that they were switching to another server because of problems they were having with email and I believe that explanation because, on one or two occasions, I got a call that made it clear that, for some reason, they hadn’t received an email from me. For example, one phone message asked me why I hadn’t responded to an email from them but I had responded. Clearly they were having problems with their email and that probably explains why they didn’t respond to my email asking about the vouchers. But there is one thing that I am disappointed about and this is why I am giving 4 ½ stars instead of 5. A few days after taking delivery of the bike I checked the tire pressure. The front is supposed to be 36 pounds. It was 18 pounds. I had to increase the pressure 100% to get it at the proper pressure. (I have a very high-end and accurate dial pressure gauge.) The rear tire was supposed to at 41 pounds but it was at 25 pounds. Those pressures not only affected handling but they could be unsafe. Clearly, the bike wasn’t prepped thoroughly. Fortunately, the fluids were at correct levels. All-in-all, dealing with Windy City Triumph was a pleasure and I hope to do more business with them in the future.

My son took his Daytona in for transmission repair. They had the bike for five weeks. He rode for a weekend and had an oil leak. Took it back. The tech then cross threaded the drain plug and tried to cover it with extra silicone. They had to machine the oil sump. This took another eight weeks. He rode it for another weekend and the front sprocket came off. Lucky they did not kill some one. It ruined the shaft that the sprocket goes on and still leaked oil. They have had the bike since the first week in September 2016, it is now January 2017. Who knows if he will ever get his bike back in a safe operating manner. Dont go there to get your motorcycle repaired or you might end up dead. Too bad you have to put a star to make a review.

The first salesperson was polite and she respond my questions but another salesperson show up with this attitude to tell me "without a motorcycle license we cant sale or test drive anything including the 49 cc scooter" i didnt want to argue with this person so i just limit my self to say thank you and walk away DONT GO TO THIS DEALER IF YOU DONT HAVE MOTORCYCLE ENDORSEMENT THEY WONT SELL YOU ANYTHING

The entire service staff quite at one point. I dropped off my bike for winter storage in October and when I called in Mid-June, they had not even begun repairs. Almost 8 months not a wrench turned! I finally picked it up for a period to ride it without the repairs finished just to ride it. Then dropped it back off to finish repairs and they still have not begun work 1.5 months later.

came in looking for a beginners bike with my girlfriend, didnt know what to expect never been in a bike store before. I met Ross he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the inventory, definitely put me on the right path on where Id like to go for my first bike. He let me try a few different choices and what to expect, overall I recommend this side a bit better. Thanks !

Its a Harley dealer. The place is huge. The one salesman I talked to was nice. They have a huge inventory. I was there to check out a triumph and I was rather surprised by the stock of triumph, Aprilia and moto guzzi. The place is clean and has a huge amount of parking. Will definitely visit again.

I really appreciate the staff. I received a personal (not automated) birthday message from the guy I bought my RSV4 from. I also had problems with my title (not on their end), but they helped me figure it out and get everything settled. They are a great team and I feel valued as a customer.

This place is one of the cleanest scooter and motorcycle shops Ive ever visited! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and weve used them a few times to procure parts for my Vespa.
