My first encounter with this place I took a Harley rider-friend and a buddy who is interested in bikes and I was flat out embarrassed for the brand by the service we received. My second encounter I happened to be near it which is unusual because it is a bit out of the way and I thought I would pop in to talk to someone about the cross country as I am in the market and get a shirt for my wife and maybe even a vest for me. There were 3 people in there and all I received was a ‘sup dude’ from one of them - after 15 minutes of flat out being ignored I left never to return (Hey, Polaris Victory of Carol Stream, IL - when someone shows up in a late model SUV, a Victory T shirt in early July it might be a good idea to at least be friendly - I might just be in the market for a new ride). If youre reading this, go to American Heritage West in South Elgin - tons of friendly and knowledgeable staff. Ive since happily spent a lot of money there.

These morons have no Idea what they are doing. Put my license plate on upside down and and forgot to put a pin in my back wheel. Dumbos. 6/23/14 Bob actually gave me a jingle today to confront me on this review... needless to say he thought he did nothing wrong, no apology, no consideration. Just called to confront me on this review. Complete denial on what he left me with on my bike. An upside down plate and no cotter pin. THANKS for the call BOB! Could have at least said, "Sorry my fault, come in and Ill fix the problem." But no, just a call to confront a customer. Originally this review had nothing to do with him, people in the parts department were just rude and bitter because they dont want to deal with a 1979 motorcycle. Even if it is a SUZUKI, I get blown off on the phone. And then I get a call from Bob, who just confronts me instead of giving me an apology and denies all problems. Heres your updated review dumbos.

Bought a V Strom from here last year in September. Just looked up their phone number to take the bike in for some servicing and saw all the bad reviews, so figured I would post a good one. Seems like a lot of people are too demanding or dont understand the world of motorcycles. Its not fair to expect a small shop to stock every part for every bike, if it needs to be ordered then you have to wait. Its like this most anywhere. That being said, they were awesome when I got my bike. Super helpful. Not pushy at all. Super knowledgable. Got my V Strom and love it. My main reason for going was the larger selection of in stock bikes and their fast response time to my emails. Every other dealer in the area answered me back 3-4 days after these guys did. Bottom line, dont let the negative reviews deter you from going here. If you are respectful and reasonable I have no doubts that you wont regret going here.

I was very excited on my first visit everyone was helpful and friendly. After a no pressure browse I decided on a Hayabusa. Because I was going out of town for a couple of weeks I asked if I could put down some money to hold the bike. I was told yes and that they would take the bike off the showroom floor. I call and let my salesman know I am ready to pick up the bike he tells me to complete an online credit application. He calls me back to let me know I was approved with 0 interest. He tells me the down payment and I tell him I will buy insurance and pick up the bike in two days. Two days later I call and tells he sold the bike last month and would I like to purchase a totally different color bike, most disappointing experience ever. What a disregard for a customer. I am stuck with a "hard" inquiry on my credit report.

Brought 01 Victory for service. After day one got excuse of only one mechanic available so not looked at. Day two, got excuse that too many oil changes came in. Day three, told what parts would be needed for one of three items to fix. Told that it would take nearly a week to get parts in from Polaris(this is a Victory dealer...). Asked if they could fix the other 2 items while waiting on parts from Polaris...was told NO...too difficult to put fuel tank back on bike to fix speedo and switch on handlebars. Week before I had fuel tank on and off 3 times to replace clutch cable myself so this is BS. Had them re-assemble the bike without fixing it and I am taking it to another repair shop that can order Polaris parts as easily as this "Victory dealership". Very disappointing to say the least.

Went twice and received horrible customer service both times. First time was to buy a new bike. Was treated like a second class citizen, the salesman seamed annoyed with all of my questions, and he didnt sell me on the bike. Ended up going to another dealership to by my 20k motorcycle. Thought I would give them a second try and buy an accessory for my bike. Once again was treated as an annoyance. When I asked how long it would take he said he didnt know and went back to his cell phone. I will not be giving them a third try. Apparently business is so good they do not need mine.

I dealt with Matt and Tim. Both are top notch guys. I have been riding for almost 20 yrs and have purchased many bikes. This deal was the easiest pressure free experience I have ever had. From the sale of the bike to trade-in and financing, everyone I dealt with was fair, professional and knowledgeable. Its the kind of place I would go back to just to visit.. I am now the proud owner of a 2015 Victory Cross Country Tour. Thank You Matt and Tim for your patience, time and a great deal.. You have not only earned my business but respect as well.

Great place, great service, great people Tim, Matt, and Rudy... a great group of guys. I brought a ictory CCT here, brought the bike in for its first service. Although I had to pay the service fee, the issue I was having with my bike after installing V & H aftermarket pipes was taken care of with no out of pocket expenses on my part, they picked up the cost, can you believe that. They even offered to let me use one their bikes to go grab something to eat while I waited for my bike to be repaired. How cool is that???

Tim was the worst ... Stopped in a week ago to check out a bike talk to a sales person about a trade in , the sales guy said he was willing to deal . So today I get a trailer and bring my old bike in and cash to buy the new bike . Tim comes out to look at my bike and low balled me on it which ok but then when I ask whats the lowest he can go on the used bike I wanna but and told him some issues I saw with the bike and he looked at me and said have a good day and walked away ....what kinda of service is that !!
