Where do I begin? The owner who apparently has a PHD and likes to flaunt this fact, was just flat out rude. We went to look specifically at a dk blue C280 4Matic we saw they had listed on their site. I didnt think to look at reviews on the place, they had what I wanted, so we stopped by. Im ready to buy - and pay cash. It was just as big a mistake as I guess is everyones experience. We pulled up, got out, there was this man wandering around smoking (the owner), never greeted us, and made us feel uneasy as he watched us from aside. We started looking at the car we came to see. Being a 2008, it wasnt without its flaws, but had excessive minor body scratches. As I was pointing them out to my partner, I guess within earshot of the creeper, he rushed over and literally confronted us, like Amys Baking Company confronted! He spoke down to us, like we didnt know what we were talking about as he postulated "that can all be buffed out". I kept looking over the body, he went inside. After looking it over about 10 minutes and wondering where he went, I went inside. If you are sensitive to mildew, you know its smell - the inside of this retired bank wreaks of it. Anyway, the lady inside greeted me - seemed friendly enough, and I asked if we could see the inside of the car we were looking at - she barked at the "doctor" to get the key. Got the key with some measure of reluctance and cussing under breath (yeah buddy, I speak German too), he opened the car and hovered over us like we were about to steal the car! Mind you, there was another car parked directly behind it, no going anywhere. He wouldnt let us see the key, let alone start it without being pretty much told so - I couldnt help but feel like he was hiding something. As i continued to surprise the dickens out of him (yes, mr creeper I have been in automotive retail all of my life and owned 4 other C-Class MBs), I know what Im looking for when I pop the hood and start looking under the shrouds. He just couldnt help himself, so his next proclamation was "this is the perfect car, no problems, and you wont find a problem, and I will not negotiate on the price". In summary - I pulled up in a $70k vehicle - own 3 other newer cars ($200k worth), and Im paying cash for a car thats for my mother in the $12k price range. You treated us like second class citizens, because you must have serious trust issues. Telling us to not touch the radio controls because "others mess with them" and you dont feel like resetting them is so petty and beneath me - we left. You blew it, because you were rude and arrogant - we will not be back and this review will stand with the rest. This *is* the Amys Baking Company of car dealerships.

Certainly the few good reviews were written by Andrew himself, or he is a real Jekyll and Hyde! Also the testimonials on his site needs a little variety to be believable "testimonials from real customers. I was a serious buyer and visited AGN to purchase a specific advertised car. As soon as my friend, and I walked in Andrew greeted us with " Dont argue with me or I won t sell you a car" then added "some people did and I called the police and they went to jail" .. Dr know it all didnt let me drive the car, because I did not have my registration and insurance paper. My friend had driven me, I assumed I would be driving back in my new car.(ins.and reg. In my car)Then with audacity he told me " I will treat you same as a black man" What is that suppose to mean? I am a 67 years old caucasian woman... I need to be handled with care! It is my belief Dr Andrew might not handle black men respectfully either. He refused to take a check for deposit, had to go to atm. Then he did not have a carfax for the car, and said carfax is not reliable, he stated his little $4,000 gizmo was better to detect accidents. In addition he said my $800 deposit was non refundable even if carfax was not acceptable after I would have the chance to order/review it. He blatantly LIED by stating the car was from florida, when indeed it came from a fleet based in Ca, and later on spent 8 years in New Jersey . Check the map Dr know it all, not the same.. in the snow, and sleet up north NJ/ Sunny Fl... Then to top it all, he said he might retire because he cant handle stupid people anymore.... I have never experienced such disrespect, and been treated like I wad an enemy under attack, he was so intimidating he actually frightened me! All I wanted to do is give him my monies for the car he had for sale.Unreal! Never experienced anything like him in my long life. Btw did not bought the car. I would not buy from AGN Auto Gallery if they had the last car for sale/best bargain on earth. Very dissatisfied shopper

Biggest Jerk on the planet. he spends time wanting to tout his degrees than actually give you info on the vehicle. Which is crazy because you dont even get to ask about the vehicles before he share his degrees. He couldnt answer if the car has airmatic or airbag suspension. His carfax didnt work on his website but was mad cause we inquired about the carfax that he listed on his site. We asked question about the vehicle options he couldnt answer. We asked if we could get a pre-inspection by mercedes service and he said No, if i dont trust him then too bad. I was calling from out of state, why would I trust you. He stated the car was perfect but then said the mercedes dealer would let me know it needed brakes etc but he had a done certified inspection and his was better. I needed to understand that it was used and that mercedes dealer would complain, after you just told me the car was better than New, why would they complain. He then said it was a hobby and didnt need to sell any of the cars, all this without you asking. Well Sir, if you choose a sales/customer service hobby then either hire people to do the sales or get a degree in communication so you can interact with your customers. Customers cant even call to inquire about vehicle without him getting an attitude. I have never encountered such arrogance. The true mark of education is your ability to share with others to expand the body of knowledge available to the universe, but if you cant communicate then you are simply just a computer terminal with no power source. Learn to communicate effectively Sir! I could look past your arrogance if you could just answer basic questions about the vehicle, I couldnt get straight answers. I was not intimidated as I myself have numerous degrees but I was saddened as to how he definitely turns people off bragging about education because we are not ALL that way!

AGN Auto Gallery is the only place I will buy a car. I know that their cars are in the most pristine condition and have not been wrecked. A fact that very few dealerships can promise you. Andrew is a very intelligent man. He only deals with intelligent people. If you arent, dont even bother stopping by. I think many of the people that have reviewed here dont realize that Andrew tells it how it is. He is upfront, honest, and a no-nonsense guy. He does not try and tell you what you want to hear in order to sell you a car like most other dealerships only to have it break down a few months later. When I buy a car from AGN I know every detail about the car I am buying. He even brought out a paint meter (to see if it has been painted after a wreck) to prove it. Every car was flawless. I love to see that at CarMax which Im sure is where most of the negative posters buy there cars. Andrew saved me and my family thousands of dollars. If you are intelligent and looking to buy a quality car, AGN is the place. Andrew does not fool around. He is there to sell you great, luxury automobiles at a reasonable price. Walking out after a purchase, I know that I have a quality car. I couldnt have had a better experience. I am looking to buy two other cars and the only dealership I will go is to AGN Auto Gallery. To the individual who blatantly targeted his son, I happen to know him and he is also very intelligent. He knows a heck of a lot about cars, a lot more than most I am sure. I guarantee you that you are damaging your car right now by the way you drive it then he does. They do not "beat their cars".
