Okay, I posted a review last week but for some reason it did not post, so Ill do a combined review of my experience. Let me start by saying, there are 3 Walmarts all within a 5 mile radius of my home but I prefer this particular Walmart. Anyway, I went in Walmart one morning last week. It was early morning, between 8:30-9:30, so there was no line at the customer service desk. I approach the desk and the young lady (Alicea) was sweeping, once she noticed me she didnt greet me in any way, no good morning, hello, hi, nothing, she stood the broom in the corner, walked to the desk, and in a very abrasive tone said, "Can I help you". Okay at this point Im thrown because Im thinking, all I did was walk in the door, why such rudeness. Well, I step up to the desk and explain my reason for my return and without a word of acknowledgement, she processes my return, give me my money, turn around, get the broom and start back sweeping. No thank you, no have a nice day. Fast forward to this morning, I go in and shes (Alicea) there again. Once again, no greeting of any kind, the same nasty, "Can I help you". I step up, explain what I need, and the nastiness continues. I purchased a Bible and a few other things the night before, so when she noticed the Bible she said, "we cant take that back, when you buy it". Now correct me if Im wrong but, shouldnt she have asked when it was purchased first? Well, she proceeds to process my refund, Bible included, give me my money, turns around and just start slinging the things I returned into the individual return bins. Again, no have a nice day, no thank you, nothing! As consumers, we should NOT have to deal with such nastiness where we spend our money. There was absolutely no reason for her to handle the situation with such nastiness. I wasnt nasty, I had my receipt, and I wasnt asking anything out of the ordinary, just a simple return. This should have been a simple in and out process but it wasnt so I reduced what would have been a 4 or 5 star rating to 3 stars because of Alicea, not the store as a whole because all of the other employees and manger were nice.

I have had the best experience this morning with the Anvil Block Deli department. I spoke to the manager, Arletha, and she gave me the best customer service ever. It is not always that you get the nicest CService but I had to get in touch with her supervisor to tell them, Ms. Ray, how great her employee was to me. I am celebrating my 50th birthday tomorrow, which my birthday is not until 0802, but I am excited about the chicken order that I placed along with the nice service that I got. I got it over the phone and I could just imagine how awesome it would have been to get it in person. I felt the happiness, care and the help through the phone. That is GREAT customer service. Please Walmart, give this woman her KUDOS today and give her a CASH reward.

Purchased the Murray Lawn mower after using it twice the third time would not crank up if your purchase a mower have it for more than thirty days , the store manager wont honor the return of merchandise even if you have the receipt. They make you go to Northern tools and they are not doing repairs for free so walmart got my $144.00 and Northern will get a repair fee. Or i will be stuck with a mower I cant use. The 90000 series is bottom line not a good buy

I hate the pharmacy at this location ... its took them 3 weeks to fill a prescription from my doctor and when they system finally approve it they was out of my medication so I had to wait another 2 week which cause my prescription to be expired now I have to wait a for my doctor to prescribe me me whole new prescription so that Wil leave me a month without taking my medication the worst experience ever

When the power was out for nearly 6 hours two evenings ago, they had no backup power to keep the refrigerated and frozen food chilled. They just covered the open fridges and freezers with plastic and still sold the stuff the next day. Frozen food, I can somewhat understand. But I wont be buying any fresh meat from them for at least a couple of weeks. Caveat emptor.

I love this walmart its always clean and stocked properly and the money center employee marquis is always nice and friendly doesnt matter what area hes located in the store you guys should give him some off days hes always there and I want to also applaud cashier Carolyn her and marquis bagged all my groceries as a team last week as well keep up the great job

The young lady in customer service was rude as well as the manager on duty. Her name was Brooksie and her "flunkie" stated each Wal-Mart could make their own policy. I have never heard of anything so ridiculous. This was my first and last visit to this Ellenwood Walmart. Its a shame you have to go to certain areas to be respected as a customer.

2-1/2 @ best. The locals will let you know you dont belong, "Dis our Walmart" was the how it was put. So you can have it folks! Keep it and all the ghetto fabulous apparel you can stuff in your purse while complaining that they only accepted 2 of your three EBT cards. How charmingly ghetto....

Not the best Walmart, but certainly above average. Self checkout means less waiting in line, and the layout of the store is rectangular--not those irritating diagonal aisles that make everything hard to find and navigate. Convenient location, carts typically roll, and cheap gas too.

I go to this Walmart often due to the close proximity and excellent selection. All of the staff are professional and will try their hardest to get you what you need. Only gripe is there is the occasional odd encounter with a rude or nonchalant employee but theyre never around for long.

The cashier Marquis was very polite also I made and mistake by running my yepper on the phone and left my $100 cash back in the self check out machine mr.marquis grabbed the money and politely gave to me smiled and said have a nice day you guys need more honest employees like him

Every where I go, and I travel for a living, I see dogs in peoples carts or walking on leashes in Wally Worlds... Walked in with my 2 month old puppy, a Corgi, IN a cart, with plastic bags under her... They would not let me in at all... Will Not Return.

The service here is horrible I called at 5pm to get 16 pieces of chicken for a family that was in need and the deli customer service rep told me that it was too late for them to cook some more chicken... So I took my business to Kroger..

Always clean, has variety of items, customer service is always great, I can always find need no matter the holiday or season is! I do agree that they should beef up security. I think there should be patrolling throughout the lot.

Large eggs are $.40 cents higher ($1.08) here then Morrow, Stockbridge, Jonesboro, or Locust Grove ($.68). Just a note if you are paying out of pocket for eggs. The Morrow store is but 15 mins away. Plan accordingly
