We shop at Waterstone Blvd location a lot and this is one of our favorite places to shop. We love love Costco, however today my family and I had the worst experience ever. We got a call from Costco representative saying that the ground beef we purchased yesterday should be thrown away as there was something wrong with it. Also, they told us to come and get a full refund which we did. The lady at customer service said that we get a full refund and another pack of ground beef for free. However, when we were ready to check out, cashier didnt know about it and he had to call a supervisor (Im not sure if she was a supervisor, though), she also didnt know anything about it and said that she wont give it for free (without even checking it with the store manager). We said that thats what we were told at the customer service, to which she said " well, they are not managers so they cant say that". She was so rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional, her body language, facial expressions were telling that she didnt want to deal with us. At this point I was so frustrated and upset, I didnt need that pack of ground beef. I just went back to customer service to find out about this miscommunication. While I was standing in line, my husband was talking to a store manager who was really nice, he apologized and gave the product for free. I never write bad reviews, but this time I decided to. I think this particular lady needs more training on how to talk to customers because when you are in this field, customer service and social skills matter,

Im not a big fan of Costco. Im not sure who is shopping here these days. Yes you can get deals on CERTAIN products, but the quanities are crazy for a normal family - which usually negates the savings. Medicine is probably the best deal in fairly normal quanities. Alcohol prices are not good... I know Costco has better alcohol deals in other states - but not Ohio. The beer selection is ok... you can sometimes get hard to find stuff. Ive also heard people talk about great prices on higher end cuts of meat... Id love to try out one of their pork butts - but they only come in two packs. My grill will barely fit one of those suckers. I will say their meat appears to be higher quality than grocery stores. My final complaint is the hassle in getting in and out of this store. Its always crowded on the weekends when we go. Waiting 10-15min to check out is standard. Plus add in the 20min+ to walk all over the store. A quick trip to costco takes about an hour. I can go to Kroger and be in and out in 15min.

Optical Department. At 2:30 pm on May 09, 2015, I waited 30 minutes to pick up my contacts. The transaction took less than 30 seconds. There was only one personnel at the counter. I was skipped over twice while waited in line. I spoke to the store manager (Brad) immediately concerning the poor service and the inefficient use of my time. He said there should be 3 personnel to service the department. Not sure what he did to remedy the inadequacy as the line was 4 deep. There was no apologies, no mea culpa, just a sense of “whatever”. My recommendation is to properly train and staff a service department. Help the folks who need hand-holding. Be efficient to folks who want to get in and out. Costcos prices are wonderful. After this experience, I’ll pick up my prescription elsewhere even if it costs twice as much.

Our son and his family were traveling cross country and noticed a tire on their car was missing 3 lug nuts during a stop near Cincinnati. They called us from their cell phone to see if we would google nearby auto/tire centers. It was 8:10 pm...we called several stores and they were closed. We called Costco and talked to "Travis". Travis proceeded to verify the parts needed were in stock and direct my son to the store where he serviced their car and got them on the road in less than 30 minutes. His service and customer care was great. Thank you Travis!!!!!

I shop Costco typically every week!Their quality control is superb!They truly research the merchandise before it is ever offered on the shelf.The prices are in line with the value received.If there is ever a need for a return, the service desk is there to provide for prompt,easy handling of the matter.The food offerings are delicious, love the ability to sample different items.Like many others, I also enjoy the pizza at the concession stand.Tim there is "The Under Cover Boss!".

As a fruit enthusiast, I can say from my 18 years of existence, that this specific Costco provides "the good stuff only" when it comes to fruits (and probably everything else too). I would rank gas station fruit at the bottom, Walmart in the upper tier, Whole Foods above that, Kroger above that, and just at the tippy top right next to some elderly farmers cart in the Boston Market (the one in MA) is the Symmes Costco and its fruit.

Friendly staff and great prices are a staple at this chain; we found the same here at this store. We did purchase gasoline, here. The parking lot was a tad bit confusing for a first-time user; it seems as if we came in the back way, as we were told. Still, it was well laid-out lot and store with plenty of space for crowds. Recommended.

We took the plunge after going with a friend d a few times. They have a few products that I love that you cant get anywhere else. Pesto Real Maple Syrup - best price in town Tortellini Fish sticks Roasted and peeled beets (vacuum packed) Raw Honey (good price) Balsamic vinegar

Great customer service team, and membership more than pays for itself. The lifetime satisfaction on pretty much everything (minus electronics, Google "Costco lifetime TV" to see how people ruined it for everyone) shows a company that stands behind the products they sell.

I havent had a bad experience here, the staff are always very friendly and willing to help. It is disappointing every now and again when they dont carry some of the products I really enjoyed anymore, but they always have a good selection and great pricing.

Absolutely love Costco! Theres nothing to dislike! Just bought a vacation package for 9 days at an AMAZING price. Cheaper than anything I found through Travelocity, expedia, kayak, Apple vacations, and pleasant holiday!

Costco has great food, but their staff is horrible. One lady yelled at my son, "Where are your parents?" It is fine if you are preparing a feast but if you want nice staff then this is not the place to go.

Typical Costco. Large with many items to choose from from bulk food, clothing, electronics and more. Lines Can get long and slow. Be aware only visa can be used. Great gas discount prices.

We love shopping at Costco. Rotating items are always great finds. Tim in food is the BEST. He made us a double sauce pizza against his own recommendation and it was delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went to Costco for the first time and joined via Groupon offer. The store seems nice, clean and has good pricing. Sundays are crowded though so I would pick any other time to shop.
