This Sears store has to be one of the lowest rated stores for customer service. First of all, I had to call 4 times before speaking to anyone. The phone will ring and after a while, it just hangs up. How rude? So I just went down a list of departments, and the machine confirmed "Merchandise Pick Up," which is not what I requested. However, I just replied with a yes. I asked to speak to the store manager, just to find out after my detailed concerns that I was talking to the clothing manager. Unbelievable. My son attended one of the local colleges there in Tallahassee and started a summer job which requires him to wear long blue Dickies pants. My son being 66 it can sometimes be hard to find his length. Since he needed them quickly, I purchased two pairs from one of the local malls here in Orlando, needless to say; they were still too short. So he found a store in Tallahassee that had the correct length. So I told him to return the two pair and purchase the other ones. You would think that we were asking for a seat on the board. I spoke with Nesa (who wasnt the store manager), and she says that the system would only allow them to swipe the card. I then said, " so if my strip was damaged or demagnetized how would you handle the purchase then?" She said, "we would have to key the numbers in." Exactly. She tells me that the store lost and prevention would not allow them to do it. As you can see, its one excuse after another. I completely understand not violating security issues; thats why I suggested driving to the local Sears here in Orlando to present the proper form of ID with the credit card that I use and have the Orlando store manager to call Tallahassee store manager to verify the information. That still wasnt good enough. This store must have a lot of issues or in my opinion believes that everyone just want to steal from them. They have not received a good review in the last 4 years, and maybe they need to go on the list with Sports Authority, Circuit Cities, and other business that are going out of business. Customers are who allows Sears to stay in business. If Nesa had just stepped outside of the box to provide excellent customer service and realize that security was not violated, this could have turned into a positive review. So I have to call again tomorrow to speak with a store manager by the name of Tony.

I so wish i had seen these reviews before i went to this sears store in the governors square mall. what a nightmare this experience has turned out to be. my family has been shopping sears for over 70 years that i know of, but this is the end of an era. i purchased an entire kitchen of appliances from this store on nov. 10th 2016. they had 10 days to deliver them but alas, they never showed up. nobody in the entire world knew where my appliances were and why they were not delivered. they will not answer their phone at the store, not the appliance dept, not the manager, and not the sales lady who gives you her card with her cell phone number on it, but she isnt going to answer that phone either nor return your calls. nobody cares and nobody is going to help you, you are left out to dry to try and figure out what is going on. it is now over a month later and i cannot get my down payment back that i put down on the purchase the day i was in the store. nobody in all the kingdom of sears will give me my money back. they all say they see the credit on my account but nobody will write me a check for the amount and send it to me. i have called multiple times every single week and still no money,. i pray that anyone who is thinking of shopping at sears will read these reviews and take heed. i called mayes munroe on capital circle after this debacle and had my appliances exactly on the day and time they promised. and even cheaper than sears and for an upgrade on the stove. please do not shop this sears store.

I have had three instances of waiting up to 30 minutes at package pickup while the "workers" were in the back doing anything but work (first time a male and female employee came out after 30 minutes looking like they were busy testing the mattresses). I complained online and got a call from the manager who promised to make things right but never followed through with the promised restitution. I have order items on line to pick up at the store only to be told the items were no longer available (but still listed both online and on display in the store!). Final straw was my 9 month old Kenmore washer died on me and wasting a week waiting for a warranty service call because the tech couldnt reach me on my cell (and did not even leave a message) so they cancelled the service call while my wife waited at home needlessly. Bottom line, Sears and Kenmore are no longer the brands you can trust or depend on.

Absolutely horrible service. I almost purchased a craftsman tool set online but wanted to see it in person because sears didnt have any actual pictures of it online. It said they had it in stock so I drove 45 minutes to get it. Got there and looks like the tool section was used to shoot a scene out of the walking dead. Dust everywhere, price tags that look like havent been updated in years, and hardly anything was actually in stock. I asked the guy behind the counter if he knew where the set might be since nothing was on the shelf but was supposed to be. He literally had no clue what it was, what it looked like, or where to even look for it. The only help he was able to give me was to tell me ace hardware might have it. Which they didnt.

I had a washing machine delivered last week and when they tried to connect they broke a pipe in my house. The delivery people couldnt get out of my house fast enough saying it was not their fault. I had to pay for an emergency plumber to come out and for a week now I have tried every possible way to have contact with Sears and each time I am ignored. 3 times I was even hung up on. I was told the store manager would contact me immediately on Monday, we are now Wednesday and still no communication. I was always a fan on Sears but after this incident I will NEVER purchase another item from them nor will I recommend them to anybody. They simply dont care about peoples property and their customer service is the worse I have ever seen.

Unless you are a glutton for punishment, stay away from this place. Sears is a shadow of its former self (for more, see its stock price, which has been in steady decline since 2007). Their customer service is comically inept. Try calling the store...likely, no one will pick up. We bought a washer/dryer combo from them and spend over $2,000 on the pair. Neither worked properly, and our attempts at getting them fixed were met with levels of incompetence that increased with each try. They outsource everything--customer service, delivery, repair work. They are under staffed and poorly organized. Their days as a company are numbered. Do yourself (and your blood pressure) a favor and spend a little more at a real store.
