Im kind of baffled by all of the 5 star ratings, to be honest. Sure, its a huge store filled with awesome geeky things like manga, comics, fandom merch, etc, but the prices arent always the best. For example, I found a lovely 2013 set of Harry Potter books 1-7 for $100. And then I bought it online for $47.00 just last night. When I brought 40 manga volumes in pristine condition to attempt to sell, they wanted to pay me roughly $28. I could literally sell every single one of those books on Ebay for $1 each and still make more than they wanted to give me in store credit. Meanwhile, most of the books I tried to sell are all popular series titles that could easily go for $4-8 each online, and they wanted to give me a tiny fraction of their value? No thanks.

Basically a Hot Topic/nerdy/geeky store with another name when it comes to selection. Nearly 80% of everything in there is priced way too high, even the stuff that werent Japanese imports. Their Japanese selection looks like it was picked out by weaboos. I met a couple of cool, personable people there, but most everyone seemed like they didnt know what they were doing, since their excuses and explanations were all extremely vague and ambiguous. They seemed to just act out how their rule books were written. The only redeeming aspect was that they had a good number of books and film across many different subject matters. Good place to go for books and film if money isnt an issue!

Amazing gem of a store that I didnt know existed until I happened upon it while my wife was shoe shopping next door. They have new/used books and video games, CDs, Vinyl, Toys, Guitars, Comics, Manga, Vintage gaming stuff, multitudinous fantastical paraphernalia and pretty much everything you could ever dream of wanting as a geek. (Except cosplay. They are grievously lacking in this department like so many other places...) If nothing else there are bins of free books outside of the store that people should check out. Its slim pickins sometimes but, hey, its free and you never know what will be in there.

This place is a geeks dream. The place is clean and every now and then they have deals and free books outside. Theres some used books inside as well which is nice. Overall I really like this place and I would recommend it for anyone that enjoys geek franchises as well as vinyl, books, and even some instruments. If you are a collector of old school gaming you can find some as well but it can be overpriced.

The Buford location does not take returns unless the item is defective but the Athens location will. So even if its a bit of a drive, I would suggest taking it to Athens. Also the staff is much more friendly in Athens. Whatever you do, do not ask one of the employees named Jared for anything. He does not know what he is talking about, and he is not helpful.

Had no idea this place was even there! It was awesome! They have new books, discounted books, used books, merch, everything! It was amazing. Huge selection, really nice people, a book Lovers Dream. It was a nice change from Barnes & Noble or Books-A-Million. I highly recommend it if you like books you will like it.

This place is for my inner Nerd (or outer Nerd). Lots of cool collectibles and Anime merchandise. I also like the imported candy from Japan. The used books are a bargain and you can sell off your old stuff. Its also nice that they have some couches with big screen TVs and video games.

A nice small town atmosphere and beautiful decor. Large selection of book for reasonable prices, there is even a free bin outside where i found art posters that now cover my bedroom walls. I recommend it to all my friends, more practical than paying for Barnes and Noble steep prices.

Pretty nice spot. Very clean, well stocked and filled with friendly folks ready to help should you need it. Books, movies, instruments, games, vinyl records, etc await you and in pretty good supply. Prices arent bad either! Will definitely be going back.

Pretty neat place. Lots of cool books and cool trinkets. Good for your inner nerd. Lots of classic consoles but id stay away from there. Everything is pretty reasonably priced, but the video games and consoles are ridiculously overpriced.

I absolutely love this place. I love this election and all different genres. Plus the multitude of different type of materials and items they have. It is an hour drive for me but once a month I still make it up there. Awesome.

This is a wonderful new shop that has opened up recently. And was a great surprise. It is a large used book store. Most of their ware is really cheap and they dont just sell books they sell movies, vinyls, and video games.

Lots of used books, games, comics, CD and, hold on.... records: as in vinyl! Holy guacamole! Bring your used stuff and get either cash or a store credit (usually about 30% than cash). Seriously, who buys new books anymore?

Such a cool place they have so many things you wouldnt find in a typical store. They have everything from records, books, games, poster, etc... The store was also super clean and organized. Im glad I found this place!!!!

Such a unique place! Records, books, video games, instruments, music, movies, and all sorts of other things in a new/used boutique of sorts. Huge selection of items for all varieties of hobbyists.

Great selection of vinyl new and used. Was surprised to see they have a guitar section. They also have a huge DVD/Blu-Ray collection. Definitely worth a trip if youve never been.
