July 8, 2014 Ive officially frequented the Rock Shop for over a year now and in that time I have never regretted a single excursion. I have proudly shopped at this store all this time and never once felt like I wasnt going to leave happier than when I entered. The essentials of what makes a good store a good store are present at the Rock Shop: wide selection, enthusiastic staff, constant product availability, etc. If it were possible for me, I would shop here for all my comic and music needs if my circumstances werent what they are. I implore anyone who may stumble upon this review to indulge your sense of curiosity and make a run to the Rock Shop and experience it for yourself. I will miss the Rock Shop dearly and all the people Ive been fortunate enough to meet and speak with this past year. I wish you all the best and thanks for a great year. 2013 Ive been to this store half a dozen times, only purchasing things the last 3 trips Ive made there. The only reason I even go to this store is because of the staff that I get to talk to. I know theres gotta be some poor employee there, but I havent met them yet. I love going in there and juts being able to strike up a conversation about comics, or movies, or TV. Its very impressive how much the people I talk to who help me find comics to purchase know about the general history of comics. They can drop some serious knowledge on you in a very short period of time. That being said, its a good store, usually nice staff, and I like spending my time and money there. Ill be going back again soon.

Dont set up subscription service unless you can get there every week. A little bit of a drive for me to get to store so I would come every other month. They were great about calling and reminding to come get the next day to pick up my comics. The last time I stopped by to grab my comics everything seemed normal. They called me on Friday and I showed up Saturday. I go through my comics everything seemed fine. When I left I realized I was missing the walking dead and iron man from my pull list. I go back to the store and ask if there was more. The employee told me once my list gets moved to a certain box anyone can grab from it. They tell me this but she was able to grab two issues of the walking dead off the wall. Why wouldnt they be with my list? I am now missing two issues that I will have to search for. I cancelled my pull list worth them. Learn some customer service. I have been using you guys for two years without issue doing things that way and then it just changes with out warning? I was spending between $80-100 per visit. Just be warned the staff might change policies without warning Update- I proved to the owner is timeline was off after he posted something unprofessional about my complaint on Facebook. We got into an argument on their. He claims my pull list was cancelled in October but I picked up comics in November plus I believe December but I cant find my receipt. I received a reminder call in February to pick them up and I did. If what he is saying is true this makes no sense.

a couple of weeks ago i spent over 100.00 on some new vinyl records at this store. when i got home and started listening i noticed that one of my brand new sealed records was warped and unplayable. i went back the next day to exchange. this is where it all went downhill. first the owner tried to tell me it was a used record which it clearly was not. it was factory sealed and in the new records bin. he then told to me to leave him my phone number and he would see if he could order me another that he would let me know on monday, this is saturday. i waited for the call on monday and of course no call. i called him back on tuesday and he told me he had not had to time to check on it for me. here we are two weeks later and no call. what terrible service. i will never shop there again. as i am very customer service oriented. and i will tell everyone i know about the service i received. all i wanted is what i paid for, a new record i could enjoy. now im out 26.00. terrible. cd warehouse is just across the street. i would go there to purchase your vinyl. much better service.

Horrible Experience! Ordered a T-Shirt online for a Fathers day gift back in March. When I received it I realized it would be too small so I followed the return instructions and included a return receipt to make sure they got back the shirt. I requested an XL. When I never got the XL I contacted them and was told they never got back the original shirt. I sent them the confirmation of receipt that they did indeed get it back. They then told me I would get my XL sent to me. Another month went by and nothing arrives. Contacted them and spoke to Brad on phone and corresponded via emails. He told me they were waiting on XL s to arrive. Its was then May and nothing. Its now June called them left messages no replies to messages or emails. They will take your money and give you nothing in return. I cant get a refund or a shirt. I wouldnt give them any stars but you cant post this unless you leave at least one. HORRIBLE COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH.

Every time I walk into this place is a treat. And not one of those gross candy heart ones. Like an alt band eclair wrapped in superheroes, drizzled with tabletop games, and served on a stick of wildly helpful sincerity. Its got any comic you could even remotely care to purchase. And if your tastes verge on the nigh unfindable, theyll simply order whatever you need. These folks know their stuff and arent afraid to show it. Theyve got some of the nicest and most accommodating employees you could hope to find. And this is a mall with a Build a Bear and a Disney shop. I would highly recommend going and taking a looksee. The shirt selection is immense, the comic book choices are staggering, and the sheer amount and variation of accessories will impress even the classiest of connoisseurs. You wont be disappointed, I guarantee it.

I have been frequenting this shop for a few years now and absolutely love the place. I was actually taken aback by the other reviews of the store. They couldnt be farther from the truth. Probably just some assholes trolling... ANYWAY. The store has a great selection of music, movie, tv, comic, and pop culture apparel. I really dont care to go to places like hot topic, so this place totally takes care of you! The comic selection is great. They have a very wide selection of marvel, dc, idw, image and others. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY... THE STAFF IS AWESOME. everyone that works in that place is helpful and are just good people.

This store is bogus. The comic selection is crap, the prices are crap, the shirts are crap, the store is just crap. The only thing that is okay about the store are SOME of the employees that are more than happy to help and ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. The owner is just an idiot to even hire some of the people there, the only exception is the big guy with the glasses, the girl with the spiderman tattoo and the girl with the purple hair. The other employees are just down-right stupid. You want my advice, do not even walk into that store, unless you want to waste your money on something you can get cheaper somewhere else.
