I was scolded for not being a customer because I accidentally snoozed off by accident in the sofas after buying a the books I wanted, cookie and coffee due to the peaceful environment, I was here since the store opened in morning because I was here since 9am. Was rudely woken up being told Im not a customer .... Im sorry ... but... just because I made my purchase early does that mean Im not a customer? and.... Did I just get treated as a poor beggar cause they guy screamed at me saying "no sleeping in here" emphasizing Im not a customer was the reason why I had the rude waking?????? (still a little shocked from the treatment you get by the staff in the store... its not my fault the air conditioning is too cold in the cafe and I had to move somewhere warmer to read and accidentally fall asleep.... especially if Im here since the morning at 9 and its like 3pm....)

I picked up a copy of The Grapes of Wrath from here recently. This is a very fine bookstore with a large quanitiy of reading materials and miscellaneous assortments of games, puzzles, movies, and more. It does look a little outdated on the inside, though, and parts of the floor had tiny fragments of garbage. However, this will likely be barely noticable as you walk around the store. In regards to customer service, I sought help from their service desk near the center of the store, which had one employee (later two) working there. I would guess that it took a little under five minutes (there was only one other customer at the time) to get help. But the employees are helpful in finding the right book or section and have a decent sense of remembering each section of the store. They were also friendly at customer service and check-out, too.

PROS: open late (college student friendly lol) , friendly staff who are knowledgable, ans super wide range of books. The last chance book shelf outside is always fun to look thru. CONS: Not enough seats sometimes!!!! And the couches in the back need a coffee table with them...plus noisy kids here are annoying when trying to study(staff never do anything about them) sorry, but bookstores shouldnt have screaming childeren same as librarys . Kind of pricey food for not so great quality. Need more plug outlets for laptops, ebooks, ect. But i am thankfull this store is running.wish there was one closer to me.

I bought a calculator at the barnes and noble campus at oakland university and was denied returning here because they are separate companies, or so the cashier said. I can understand that but, i didnt like that when i asked for the cashier to at least try for me he told "no" very rudely like i was an idiot for asking, im a college student who prefers to buy all his textbooks brand new $600 avg per semester and i can say after this inconvenience of not being able to return here and the rudeness of the staff i will take my business to amazon.

The eating snack area always seems to be filled with one person per table of wannabe writers who arent writing anything. The prices exceed by far what can be found online, the selection although large can be somewhat limited if youre looking for specialty books. Theres many stationery products and magazines and a modest but overpriced music and DVD area. Parking during the holidays is ridiculous. Many of the people who are there are simply browsing like its a library which clogs up the aisles of the store.

A nice book store! Lots of books (Obviously), CDs, Vinyl, magazines and POP! figures. There is also a Starbucks here!! The store is also pretty big, and its well organised and cozy, the staff is friendly and the bathrooms are nice. My only reasons for four stars (I would give four and a half) is because the line takes FOREVER and the staff pressure you to join the members club (Which you have to pay for). Otherwise, I love this Barnes & Noble! :)

Im a regular here. Have been for years. Always good service and Jena has never been rude to me. The cafe is quick and efficient, the music department is manned with knowledgeable people and the front counter staff is always moving people quickly but also spends time with you as needed. I expect GREAT service for spending my money anywhere and this staff meets and exceeds my expectations regularly.

Very good store for your normal large chain book store. No 1st edition to be found here. But an excellent "Times" best sellers list books and comfortable chairs to peruse your new bind with a hot cup of your favorite coffee. Large magazine rack. Extremely helpful staff. Im glad this store stayed open, I and millions of others still enjoy a real book and not a piece of plastic.

This Barnes and Noble is one of my favorite places to visit. The staff is always willing to help answer questions and find the book youve been looking for. If they dont have it in store and can get it from the warehouse, they will gladly order it for you. Basically, if you are a book lover, give this store a visit.

This is my usual store. Its clean and well organized. Staff is friendly and, for the most part, knowledgeable. I usually spend an hour or two browsing because I only shop here a few times per year and I always find unexpected gems and great gifts. Prices are reasonable with my loyalty card and coupons.

I love the variety and how they always have a new theme for the tables in front of the kids books. Also I never have to wait in line for a while. It adds in a nice cozy touch that they also have a cafe. They have tons of items that are great for gifts for all ages!

Had my newborn in a small cart from Kroger and was told that it is a store policy no carts in the store. Literally had to carry my newborn with carseat and the items I want to purchase in my arms. Will be doing book purchases elsewhere where carts are accepted.

I like the physical displays and staff suggestions for books to read. I enjoy physically browsing for books here much more than online. I also enjoy the puzzle/game selection - lots of good ones. I try to suppport the physical stores by buying at the location!

This man was very disrespectful to my friends and I. He had a very rude tone in his voice. He literally threw the money in my friends hand and also in mine. I hope someday you can hire better workers, but for the other women in there. They were very nice.

A great location and a good place to kick back and relax. I do wish Barnes and Noble would bring their prices more in line with their competition without needing to join their "pay to play" bargain program.

Extremely annoying. I have called the store 3 times and hung on for several minutes. The 3rd time after listening to all the messages, I heard someone pick up the phone and then hang up!!!!

Theres something about browsing a book store. Only downfall was that I was disappointed to have to wait through the regular line for a return. I lived, though.

I enjoy this place because of the Starbucks coffee and the nice marriage between bookstore/game store/comic book store. Nice selection of about everything.

I love Barnes and Noble but the lady that works at the starbucks/cafe is so loud and never shuts up that it is extremely hard to read a book or study...
