MOMMA GOT CHECKED!! BOO-YAMy husband and I were perusing the shelves when we heard a mother and her son entering the store. She was telling him "now dont touch anything". The employee looked from behind the counter and said something like "Come on in, its a comic book store. You can touch everything!Priceless! I couldnt see his face from where I was standing, but I bet that kid was beaming!I clearly see why Sheldon and the guys hang out in the comic bookstore. It is such an engaging environment because everywhere you look, there is something interesting. There are tons of books, cool (You wont see these at Target), games and even action figures. We were just overwhelmed and didnt know where to look first. During this visit, we just did a cursory view in an effort to try and get the lay of the land.We will definitely come back later when we are able to spend more time exploring the inventory and can actually purchase something. These are the types of really cool businesses that you really want to support because they are rare and hold great memories for those who grew up with these stores as part of their neighborhood landscape. This store was very clean and super organized with staff ready to assist as needed.

Galactic Quest was a fun place to shop, learn, and interact with others within the card gaming community until someone within the store stole from me. The manager does not seem to want to socialize with any one even if you are willing to buy something; unless it is at her own convenience, this makes shopping a pleasure :). This was my second time at GaIactic Quest so you would think that the people would be just as inviting as the first time. Wrong! That was a false state of mind. The people, not all, were stand offish at least as well as . I felt anxious and it showed which is probably why I was stolen from. Just know that if you enter this shop you will not get a warm welcome or any for that matter. You will not feel as though it is a safe place to educate your kids when it comes down to new card games and you wont find the best deals when it comes down to card games. But it never hurts to try I guess. All I can say is," thanks GQ; it feels good knowing that I can go to a card shop, where know one cares whether you get stolen from or not." Oh and last but not least Kyle and Minda your children need you back A.S.A.P; its sad but true.

Im new to the comic book scene. I Googled several places to go and stopped in this one first because its close to my house. I took my 2 sons on a busy Saturday morning, and as soon as we walked through the door we were enthusiastically greeted and asked if we could be helped. I explained were new to comics but interested and the store owner who was working that morning took almost an hour to show us around the store and answer many different questions. Good selection arranged by publisher, bagged and boarded. Subsequent visits have yielded the same type results with courteous and helpful service. If youre close to this store and interested in Comics/Gaming you should stop by.

WOW!!!!!What an awesome store! Visiting Duluth for some Korean shopping and navigated from Titan Comic to this store based on the online reviews. Found the elusive Walking Dead Dixon Brothers figures I needed to take to Wizard World New Orleans to get autographed by Norman Reedus and Michael Rooker. Also grabbed some older action figures as well. This store has toys Ive never seen as well as some old favorites I hadnt seen in over 20 years. This store may be a little off the beaten path but its well worth the trip. Ill be stopping in ever trip I make to Duluth from now on.

Each time I enter the store I am greeted by name with an exuberant hello and occasionally being informed that I have entered, The Greatest Comic Book Store on the Face of the Earth. As soon as I hear that wonderful greeting from the awesome staff, i know that i have arrived. After coming to their various locations over the last 15 years, I appreciate each visit more than the last because I see the joy and appreciation in every staff member. It may very well be the greatest comic store, and if so it is due to the service that is beyond amazing.

Despite a predilection that geeks and nerds have to be judgemental towards newbies encroaching on their obsessions, this hobby store has staff that are very friendly and happy to answer questions. There are many events on weekends to come play your favorite card game, and a handful of stuff to do on weekdays. A good location in downtown Lawrenceville means there are drinks, eats, and some local theater nearby. Lawrencevillains would be remiss not to turn this location into their local game shop (LGS) because they could certainly do a lot worse!

Galactic quest is a great store whether youre into comics, Magic: the Gathering, or tabletop games. Even before they moved to a larger location, Id often suggest this location to my friends. Now that they have moved to a bigger store, theres more room for gamers to play, which is great. They keep their store clean, affordable, and friendly. The staff is exceedingly knowledgable and helpful regarding any inquiries, as well as upbeat and fun to have a conversation with. If you live in the Grayson/Lawrenceville area, please check them out!

The staff here is great. We feel like part of the family when we walk in. They are eager to engage with our kids and its a great place to foster a love of reading. Plus , weve gotten to try out many board games and card games. Weve gotten great recommendations and have bought many board games from them after playing their demos for an hour or so. We are always happy to purchase from them before we look online. The service is worth it. Keep up the good work!

Relaxing atmosphere with great staff. The manager has suggested products to me several times, from personal purchases to gifts for friends and she has been spot on every time with the games she recommends. Very knowledgeable and awesome customer service. They are always willing to go the extra mile to get a product for you, even if they dont have it in stock. I am now a loyal customer. Keep up the great work!

Great store, nice atmosphere, and a fantastic staff. Jami asked questions about what comics I liked and why I liked what I liked, and then directed me to some great new books that I would never have tried had she not directed me to them. Wide selection of everything and a nice location, too. Cant say enough good things about this place!

Your Friendly Neighborhood Comic Shop. Great selection of comics and paraphernalia old and new. Subscription service is great for the collector. Board and card game selection is solid and good gaming space in the heart of downtown. The owner, Kyle, really knows his stuff - dont hesitate to ask for a recommendation.
