Me and my boyfriend came to Jared to get an idea of the type of ring that I would like in case we were to ever decide on an engagement. The sales people were nice and helpful and I found a ring I liked but never decided on a diamond of course since we were just LOOKING. They said they could check to see how much hes eligible for in case he was to buy through them . They said it would not be a hard credit check and told him what he could spend. We left and thats it. Fast forward to 2 weeks later he received a BILL for $3,600!!!!!!! Of course I called and the lady Myra hung up on me as soon as I asked her why I was receiving a bill. So I called back instantly and she transferred me to someone in billing. He said he would take care of it and as far as we know he did but MY GOD!!!! This totally spoiled the experience for us and I felt horrible! We never officially decided on a ring and never walked out with a ring so why would we even receive a bill ! Whats sad is that was our first time looking! We will most definitely not be going to Jared if they are that reckless and make that big of a mistake. And its too soon to tell if this whole thing is effecting my bfs credit but if it does by all means they will hear from us again. So dont go to Jared unless you want to be billed for things you never even purchased. Total bummer. You would expect more from a "multi billion dollar company". THANKS JARED.

A follow up on the review below. I am said boyfriend, and this dropped all of my credit scores by 20 points. It showed as new card, new card utilization (which they called a "mistake" when they charged it) and a new hard inquiry that wont be off of my report for 2 years. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and wait it out to make sure it wouldnt show on my report, but sure enough it did. I was told by the manager of the location, "Sorry... I hope this doesnt affect our future relationship." Well, it did, seeing as we wont be having one. Beyond unacceptable.

Very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly jewelers. We have made multiple purchases worth over 20G. They dont seem to make presumptions on what a customer can afford or will buy based on their attire. We shop in shorts and tee typically. Even when I didnt have my nails done and I was embarrassed (a female thing I suppose) trying on jewelry they treated me with respect and courteousness.

Had a wonderful visit with a very nice and knowledgeable lady named Ana. We did not purchase yet, we are looking for an engagement ring. She helped me make a wish list and size my finger. Told me everything I need to know about maintenance and pricing for my ring. Lovely store.
