I have a Honda cruiser and after shopping around several businesses my last stop was at The Ride Factory in Ybor on 22nd st.. Let me say Im glad I stopped in to talk to these guys. I was first met by Scott. He shook my hand while he introduced himself. He took me into the office and we began to talk about what I needed. My bike needed a total carb rebuild/re-jet. I immediately got a good vibe off Scott. He seemed really honest and knowledgeable. So after a couple of weeks I decided to bring my bike in and have Scott do the work. After going into the office and doing the paper work I mentioned that I was getting ready to walk over to the bus stop and get a bus home(I dont live but 5 miles from the business) a gentlemen was there by the name of Brian and he told me not to worry about it and he was kind enough to give me a ride home. He was also very cool and knowledgeable. I told Scott to take his time working on my bike..Well by the end of the day I got the call that my bike was ready to go. When I got there to pick my ride up I met the owner Summer. She was awesome. Shes the type of woman you want to hang out with and just shoot the $%#* with! Very sweet and cool. She was also knowledgeable. From the minute I walked into the shop for the first time, to the time I picked up my bike, they were all nothing but cool and friendly. Summer is probably one of the coolest women Ive ever met in my life. They all made me feel like a family member or friend. They work on anything and do customizing. I saw bobbers, Street bobs, cruisers, cafe racer types, sport-bikes, custom choppers, Harleys. EVERY bike you can think of. They do it all. They also have a pretty bad ass show room with riding gear and other cool stuff. (I grabbed a patch and a few stickers) the patch is on my riding vest already. Put a bumper sticker on my SUV too. :) As far as the finished project. My bike runs like it did when it was brand new. I cant even believe this is the same bike I brought in to be worked on. I installed Vance and Hines Cruzers and they did the rest. My bike sounds and runs incredible. Its smooth, sounds great and just feels awesome. Scott did an amazing job and gave me some great tips and advice on taking care of my ride. Great customer service, great skills and most important to ME is their competitive prices. In closing. My experience was top notch from the get go. I have a bike shop now forever. I wont go anywhere else for service on my bike. I highly recommend this shop for any rider with any type of motorcycle. Thank you all for the top notch, superior customer service and making my bike run like a dream Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! See you again soon! ~Mike~

The Ride Factory is by far the most helpful, professional, a honest independent motorcycle shop in the area. I highly recommend them for any of your motorcycle needs regardless of the scope. I will only take my bike to them. The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating no matter how small or large the issue. When my bike went down in an accident they did an amazing job in repairing it better than it was before. Both Sommer and Bryan, are extremely knowledgeable and honest people who go out of their way to make sure both your interest and the well being of the bike are taken care off. In addition, they stand behind their work and make sure that any issue is taken care of without trying to nickel and dime you. I had an issue where an item on the bike that was replaced by them had failed and they went above and beyond to remedy the issue. In reality, the issues was not necessarily their fault but more of a freak incident but they asked no questions and made sure they took care of the situation. This issue could have been a back and forth battle of liability but they went above and beyond and fixed the issue without question. You may be able to find smaller shops around that may be slightly cheaper but you will not find a place with as much experience and integrity than the The Ride Factory, and to me that is something i do not mind paying for.

Called to get a price on replacing the back tire on a new bike (forgetting I had had an experience with this place 2 years ago.) On learning my bike was Japanese, I got quoted a price of $111 just to replace a back tire (not sell the tire itself with installation.) Thats more than double what other places are charging. I can only conclude either a) they dont want to work on anything but HDs, or b) HD owners are just used to paying through the nose for service to their machines. I suspect the glowing reviews below are plants by the business itself. (2 years ago) Called to get some information on possible service to my (non-Harley Davidson) bike. The guy immediately began referring to it as a "metric bike." You know, that term is offensive. Its intended to suggest that theres Harleys ("good, patriotic, American"), and then theres everything else (dunno, "unpatriotic and disloyal?") This is a stupid, redneck way of looking at the world, and its particularly stupid for any business to be giving offense to a new potential customer. It also suggested to me that my business was neither welcome nor likely to be met with competence. You dont stay in business that way.

just bought my first harley recently and was looking for a local shop(cause as well all know they just rip you off at the dealership) to do some work on it.Came across the Ride Factory in Ybor, looked them up and they had a good repuatation as honest and very fair with their prices. I called to get a quote on what I needed done and Somer who runs the office answered the phone. What a pleasure to deal with! she answered all my questions patiently, quoted me a very fair price for what I needed done and even ordered all the parts needed without even taking a deposit!(which I offered). When I took it in Brian the head tech explained everything that needed to be done and then took his time and did an excellent job installing my custom parts. As long as theyre around I wont be taking my ride anywhere else. Happy as can be with everything theyve done for me. Oh and they have pretty cool selection of leathers, boots, helmets and accessories also at very reasonable prices. I scored a cool lerather vest. highly reccomend these guys!

These folks are the best at what they do. They have the absolute best harley trained mechanics in town. Prices are reasonable. I was sold on these guys since they opened the shop. You can trust their work and they stand behind what they do. Walk back in the shop and talk to the wrench whos gonna work on your bike. Try that at a Motor Company shop. Somer works the front office and is part owner of the shop. She can talk motorcycles with the best of em. Brian is the other owner and is the back office guy. He runs the shop. His hands are on every single bike that comes in. He is never too rushed to talk to you about your motorcycle. Walk back in the shop with your bike on the rack and talk to him about your issues. He wants to understand what you are experiencing, You will never regret taking your bike here. You old schoolers will appreciate them most, Its like an old school motorcycle shop.
