Prices are fair - no huge bargains, just the advantage of buying in bulk so you dont have to run back to the store in another week. Produce section is awful - we purchased pre-packaged corn-on-the cob and when we opened the package it was covered in mold under the parts of the label you couldnt see through (same day we purchased the corn!). Have purchased salad or kale mixes whose use by dates were still many days out, but the greens were wilted, soggy and even rotten. Watch expiration dates on EVERYTHING...they sold a huge sack of cheese sticks and when I got home I realized they were going to expire in a couple of days...no family can eat 48 string cheese sticks in two days hahaha! And, am totally annoyed at the vendors who they allow to set up and hassle you while you shop. We actually invited one of the vendors to give us a quote on new windows and doors for our home as we are on the market...figured BJS must have vetted the company or they wouldnt allow them in the store. Well, it was high-pressure typical sales type marketing - they would not come to the house unless both spouses were home and they dont tell you that until day before they come - I kept the day open for the appointment and they cancelled!! (I make all the decisions - my husband doesnt want to be bothered), they wont give a quote until you verbally agree to contract with them, quotes are only good same day, etc. So, typical sales tactics that arent what a reputable business would use....just surprised BJs would expose their customers to that experience. Otherwise, staff at the store are fine, its always clean, fair prices...but produce and the pesky outside vendors who hassle you while you shop are a definite negative.

I love this store! Much better than the other 2 big box stores. You dont have to "flash" your card to get in like at the other 2 stores (you will need it to check out ...so why would you have to show it to walk in?). The employees are always helpful and pleasant (unlike the Sams Club down the street). I love their coupons and the fact that you can also use manufacturers coupons at this store (which you cannot at Sams and Costco), love the deli and the greeting cards at 50% off! I will continue to shop here and encourage others to switch from the Sams which treats their shoppers like dirt! Oh, there are always enough checkout people to keep any lines moving quickly.....do you hear that Sams Club manager?

1/28/15. I went to buy a Tv today at Bjs the product # is 65H6300 for $1,179.00 at the location in 6290 Commerce Palm Dr Tampa, FL. After I was all excited to get th TV they did not have a box for it! The ladie who help me got the manager her name is Julie. Horrible service from the manager what a shame, she did not even try additional options to give a great service. She literally told me "we dont have a box for it so you can leave if you do not want it" and she walked away. I am not happy about this experience. I been a long time trusting Bjs until today. I will make sure to let all of my family and friends about this horrible experience.

Not sure if I save much money with BJs (especially considering the annual fee of $45), but I do like shopping there. Here are things that I like buying there: - Nice selection of wines - prices slightly lower - Expensive, but very tasty premade meals such as chicken burgers, Panera Bread soups - Filet mignon, ground bison, fresh fish, shrimp - prices / quality a bit better than other stores. - Organic milk & fresh salads - prices slightly lower - Some of their bakery items are really good, such as raspberry / chocolate rugula. - etc. Their coupons and tasting/sampling are nice. I guess Id join for the products, not for savings.

Scheduled a tire appointment to have my tire patched and arrived a little early and the attendant had an attitude right from the start. I told him I had two tires that I might need to be patched. He said he could only do one. Really!!!! Im willing to pay for two tires but you can only service one. Ok, I will take my business to Costco then.

My only advice would be to caution anyone who plan to go to this particular Wholesale Club. I tend to lose it because of the tremendous bargains. Albeit I enjoyed myself and was there with my wife until sunset. Just make sure you shop within your budget because temptation is going to try to ovetake you more than once.

Have most of what we need. People are polite. They have a fresh cold cut counter to get you deli meats and cheese sliced fresh. Prices for the fresh cold cuts much more reasonable than the supermarket. The only negative for me is that Cosco has better prices on their health products especially all the aspirin

Employees were nice and helpful. Customers were slow and caused a lot of traffic jams in the shopping lanes and frankly didnt seem to care about any of the other customers. The customers is mostly why this place got three stars. Overall good experience if you avoid the customers

The selection is not great. Most of the times, amazon has better prices, which includes shipping. Theres no one to help you if you need anything. Also, you hardly have deals that you cant resist. I am waiting for Costco to open up in new Tampa.

I love going into BJS. This one was my first full service club in Tampa. Gas, food, coupons. My cashier was friendly and the CS person was very helpful. I got to change my address and order a new coupon book. EZ peezy.

Your typical BJs Wholesale Club. I typically shop only when I have coupons. Decent prices but sometimes local grocers have better deals with BOGOs. Never had issues with any staff and they all seem friendly and helpful.

I am able to buy in bulk. Which everyone knows, but we are able to save additional money thought the following months because of it. Just like a Sams club, but closer distance for us and they have their own coupons.

We have Sams Club, Costco, and BJS all within 20 minutes of home. BJS is the best: tops for price, meats, selection, gas price (10 cent discount AT THE PUMP), and courteous staff. What more can I say?

Designed more for the family shopper than the business shopper its a grocery store on steroids. They take all manner of payments, accept coupons and their prices are impossible to beat.
