I called up to get measurements on a leather sofa and loveseat that I knew I wanted to buy (so I can see if my trailer was big enough). Casey (sp?) assisted me over the phone and told me they had only the display models left. He also supplied me with the item # so I could check another store. I asked him the condition of the two floor displays and he described them very accurately (which was they were in great shape). I asked him to hold them for me and he had them waiting by the registers when I arrived. Then Jesse and Kevin helped by loading them into my trailer because I recently had surgery and could not do any lifting. These two guys were so cautious and professional about loading my furniture, they handled it like they would handle furniture they were moving for their own family. Jesse actually went to the back and got some shrink wrap to protect the furniture since I was using an open trailer and it looked like rain. I was very impressed from the customer service I received from these three gentleman - they are a credit to Costco Employees and my experience today was one of the best Ive had at any retailer or Costco Ive shopped at - and being the avid Costco fan I am, thats a lot. Ive also never left a review for employees at any Costco, but these guys deserve some sort of praise.

Costco brandon feels overcrowded because of store layout. Still, somehow, management finds time to sell items such as pianos and golf carts, which I dont go to costco to buy. I did fill out a product request form asking for baby foods like gerber 1rst and 2nd foods, and there was no follow up. Called the store, and they would only repeat about filling out a form, and someone will follow up. Nobody did. Followed up with costco customer service, and all they could say was costco does not carry those items. Hmmm. Well if it did, I wouldnt be filling out the form. I tried costcos vision center, and the policy seems to be bait and switch. I was quoted ~$90 price for a pair of glasses with titanium frame and transitions. When I decided to order, the price jumped by another $50. I got the like branded titanium frame at a local optometrist for a total out of pocket cost of $88, which is $2 cheaper than quoted prices, or $52 cheaper than what costco vision center would sell it to me. There are products like TV that we explored, that are selling for more than other retail stores. Seems like members are getting a ride for their money. I hope the management at costco realizes that there is a group of shoppers that is savvy enough to do research, instead of paying costco and hoping to get a deal.

Costco Tire Center is at zero in service and performance--I ordered 4 tires, they arrived, I tried three different days to schedule a date for installation--was always told a wait of 3-4 days to get on appointment list. Each time I noticed 2 or 3 work bays were empty while some workers standing around. So final I accepted an appoint 4-days into the future. As I departed Costco I walked by the 5 work bays and saw that three were empty and some workers obviously not working. I hesitated and was observing the situation when the Costco employee who had just a few minutes earlier told me it would be 4-days wait for appointment came forward and said we can take you now. I expressed frustration with what was an obvious bad management situation--the response was someone had cancelled---. with three empty bays I question the "someone"--Anyhow, past Costco tire service has always been excellent. This last experience suggests lots of room for improvement.

I have been trying to get someone to answer the phone for twenty minutes! I keep getting a busy signal. You would think that a company this large would have a better phone system to at least route your call! The reason for the call brings up another issue that should be looked at by mgmt.. I want to purchase a leather chair that is currently out of stock. I was told by a supervisor all I could do was keep calling to check if the new shipment has arrived .... talk about archaic... what kind of customer service is this anyway? There should be a system to purchase the item and then an associate could call the customer to advise of the arrival! That would generate a sale and provide customer service I managed all the stores in FL for Womens fashions with a major retailer ( 24 year career ) NEVER FORGET THAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS WHAT KEEP YOUR CUSTOMER BASE AND MARKET SHARE !!!

I think they should find a way to take care of people at the food court a little faster. I work for CDS doing the the food sampling and I get one hafe hour for lunch. Some tlime I wait 15 min. Before I can order. Now I only have 15 min. To enjoy my lunch. I see a lot of new faces working in the food court that means to me they are just learning. In worked in the food court many years ago in the Wharton NJ store I was holiday help but we had all seasoned help.As for me I had my own Deli for 18 years so i learned quick how to work there but we all had speed we moved fast and got the food out. But it seems after the renovations it seem to get a lot slower....my suggestion woud be have the both cash registers going and a backup person for each cash register to do the running for the food. By the way my son is a mgr at the wharton store.in NJ

I am unsure what is causing the problem because I have checked their thermometers in the freezer, but throughout the last year every package of meat bought or almost bought excluding beef and most fish fillets, have been so spoiled, even before the expiration date, that I can smell it through the package. On several occasions i didnt catch the smell until I got home. The only thing this store is good for are dry goods and non-perishables. The meats in question have been organic chicken breast, Adeles chicken sausage, fresh fish steel head and salmon fillets, and sandwich meat. Also sample lines need to be managed better, as every time I try to get milk I get yelled at by people in the pizza sample line, whom are blocking the dairy freezer, thinking Im cutting even when I explain myself first. Not a good shopping experience.

Our biggest savings come from dog food, organic milk, and organic yogurt. The company seems to treat their employees well. In the years that my family has been shopping there, there has been little turn-over. The store is nicely run. The food choices are vast. There is a good selection of veggies, including several organic choices. The frozen food choices are great. My neighbors have joined just for the frozen pot stickers and the teriyaki meatballs. Another plus is that you can return anything. I bought some wine that I didnt like, and I was able to return it even after I had opened it and tried it. Its a friendly shopping experience where I can quickly get food for the family for a week or two. If you are interested in buying laptops or computers Costco has a good support and warranty policy.
