LOVE this place!!! Its like Sams Club but cleaner, nicer, with better variety of merchandise and nicer employees. Ive been here often since it opened and its always clean inside, with neat aisles, even on busy weekend days. Theres a wide variety of things to buy and the store brand stuff (Kirkland) that Ive tried--cheese, bakery items, meat--has all been top-quality. We got a pie from the bakery that was one of the tastiest Ive had, and it was reasonably-priced, too! All the staff Ive interacted with have been very friendly, and helpful. Theres an independent optometrist here, and I needed an eye exam. I usually go to Lenscrafters, but Costcos a lot closer to me, so I thought Id give it a go. Im glad I did! The eye doctor was friendly, the exam was affordable, and when it came time to buy contact lenses I got them for a really great price. My family used to have a Sams Club membership, but we let it lapse and got a Costco membership instead. Try it out! You wont regret it!

This is a nice location, I like it. I appreciate the services offered. But Im knocking off 2 stars because when I took my car in last week due to a metal piece causing my tire to go flat, I ended up missing an entire day of work. I purchased 4 of this tire at this location around the end of last year, and they have a tire "warranty" that is awesome and also means I am not going anywhere else for tire problems. I have two issues. First, they dont open the tire center until 10:00 a.m. To me, thats late. I have a flat, and I need to get to work. Doesnt everyone else? Second, they dont stock the tire which is why I had to wait a day for the tire to come in. I find this unacceptable. If I buy my tires from your place, you should give me the courtesy of having 1-2 in stock for when things like this happen. All in all, Im unhappy that I had to burn a vacation day because of a stupid tire. There are things Costco could do to improve this situation.

I had a concern about this company locking their gas pumps on Labor Day. I feel that if Im paying for a membership, they should be available to meet my needs on a busy travel weekend. Theres absolutely no need to have employees on hand for me to be able to pump my own gas. They could have given everyone the day off, and still let me fill my tank. Regular gas stations, that dont require a membership, were there for me when i needed them. So, I filed my concern, and was told that it was "forwarded to the appropriate department for review." That was almost a month ago, and Ive been ignored since. So far, in my admittedly short time as a member of this club, my opinion is that this company provides decent quality products in portions that are larger than anyone needs at solid prices, and with horrible customer service (at least at the corporate level). If thats what youre looking for, then Costco is definitely for you!

As my Strongsville Costco review states, you really cant go wrong with any Costco. I still feel this one has a better selection of fruit and seafood compared to Strongsville, and the staff here is a little bit friendlier. I only had one bad experience with a greeter here, who was a very unfriendly woman. I smiled and said hello to her, only to be greeted by a very nasty glare and silence, while she snatched my receipt out of my hand and shoved it back at me. As I said "have a nice evening," I was once again met with the same nasty glare and silence. I wont knock a star off for that, though. She doesnt reflect the nature of everyone else Ive come in contact with, and there are just some miserable and nasty folks out there, no matter where you go.

Being new to this area I had been told that COSTCO was THE PLACE to join if I was looking for a "warehouse-type " store. As both a SAMS CLUB as well as an AMAZON PRIME PANTRY member, I figured it would probably be about the same. BOY, WAS I SURPRISED! Besides ALL OF THE AMAZING AMENITIES that FAR SURPASS THE OTHER CLUBS; GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, TERRIFIC SELECTIONS OF MERCHANDISE, as well as THE LOWEST GAS PRICES AROUND (!), they have A MIRIAD OF OTHER SERVICES SO ABUNDANT I CANT EVEN LIST THEM ALL - From car sales and insurance to a FULL OPTICAL SERVICE ON SITE. I was able to restore an antique Family photo with them that was beyond hope to a photo that looks like it was taken yesterday! Im a fan for LIFE! B.Koudelka-Holzer

I called and asked to be transferred to their optical section. Rang for 5 minutes and then the call ended. I called again and explained what happened....they transferred me to the optical section....rang for 5 minutes and then the call ended. I called AGAIN.....she took down my information and said she would have them call me. Still havent heard from them. Since they angered me enough to post a review, I should also say that they only have one worker at the optical station. There were 6 customers waiting while I was there picking out glasses. Fortunately we were the second to arrive, but we still waited 20 minutes. Cant imagine how long the 6th person waited.

I went to this Costco last week and was not treated very kindly. I have gone to many Costcos and have always been treated very kindly but I have been unimpressed with this Costcos customer service. I was expected to load all of my groceries along withloading them back into my cart while there were only 2 check out lanes open and a total of 2 customers being checked out. This normally would not be a big deal to me but there were multiple employees standing around watching me do their job!! This Costco treats their customers like Sams Club treats their customers which is far from a compliment

Much better than Sams imho. If you dont think your family is going to spend at least $5,000 per year here, its better to just buy the $55.00 membership. The $110 isnt going to pay for itself unless you do spend that much. Thats at least $100.00 a week, or $400.00 a month. Youre welcome. The food, supplies, and even electronics are very reasonable and just as competitive than Sams, it just seems like the selection is greater, its not as stuffy as Sams and the way the employees are treated is nicer. Do the research on that, and youll see Im telling the truth.

Love this Location! Right off Route 8 near turnpike, great to have a Costco in Summit County. Have made the trip for years to Mayfield store, now its right in my backyard. I love this store, their return policy, the quality of the Kirkland Signature branded products, the quality of the meats and bakery, and the brightness and organization of the facility. And of course, the Prices! My favorite place to shop, hands down. Their Optical Dept. has wonderful designer frames at fantastic prices. Can you tell I love Costco?

I shopped there with wife for several items. The pricing was very good in Ohio, but the Sarasota store was just the opposite items were higher than Sams Club store was short staffed with long lines at register. We purchased membership planning on purchasing items in Florida but they do not carry the same merchandise. The higher pricing and long checkout lines in Florida means we will not be renewing our membership.
