Carefully consider the Costco Lennox AC Kiosk program in Dayton. They use Stevenson in Beavercreek and you have no choice in any other local Lennox dealer. Unlike the Costco Auto program which uses MSRP as a guide, there is no real guide for pricing here. As with other reviews, I too had a bad impression with not listening to me. By phone I requested they not talk to my renters about the AC system and granted them indoor access to see simply what size heater I needed. They instead took my heater APART, then showed my tenants a photo of a worn unit noting it was "dangerous living conditions but they could replace it right away" for about $14,000. 1. Scare tactics are the norm for them if you read other online reviews. 2. I had replaced several parts on the system myself and knew exactly the condition it was in, to say they take advantage of homeowners is an understatement. 3. This is not worth the Costco rebate, they are still charging about $8-10,000 over the system cost for one day of labor for a simple high efficiency system install . When I noted that I would call to compare other local Dayton AC companies for prices they warned me NOT TO and that I HAD to go with them as they are the only local Costco affiliate. Meanwhile, their reply to the high price quote was that I was in a "nice neighborhood." I called around against their advice, The second Home Depot/Logan service tech quoted 40% less and gave a much better written estimate, was more professional and cheaper with a similar quality Trane system and no rebate hassles. By their own accord they noted most systems last 10 years and most companies have a 10 year warranty. Shop around. Remember, the company that installs it will be servicing it for a while, choose carefully and watch for used car salesman techniques. My family has been with Costco since the late 80s and weve used the Auto buying program and others successfully. In most cases youre in good hands being a Costco member. Im sure Costco/Lennox programs are better in other areas but both the new Dayton and Mason stores unfortunately use Stevenson for their Kiosk service at this time.

If there was a less than one star, like negative 359, I would have given them that. I need to new tires installed and the service manager plainly rushed me through! The attitude was "give me your money and get out". I was then help by a young tire installing mechanic who exercised courtesy but it was all about sale. After paying for 2 tires, it took 8 working days to get the tires in and they did not even call me. I called them myself and they gave a routine of we just got the tires in and you were to be called! I asked them to install the new tires in the front (vehicle being a front-wheel drive) and after going talking among themselves and away from my hearing range, they said that manufacturer insist that new tires to be installed in rear due to hydroplaning and potential liability. However, the mechanic indicated that I sign a disclaimer and they would comply with my choice. I did it and still the mechanic came back to me after 10 minutes an said that after talking to the manager they are still unable to do it!!! I had no other choice to have the tires installed in the rear of the car. To me, it was too obvious that they did not want to shuffle and re-mount 3 tires; lazy attitude to shuffle 3 tires around. I did not want to embarrass the kung mechanic and just smiled and let it go. couple of hours ago I saw a tire center number on my phone with no message. Obviously, they wanted to get customer satisfaction survey. Tire center folks are liars and make up any story they want to provide the ABSOLUTE minimum service. I am extremely disgruntled since they are bunch of liars. I will take my business elsewhere from this point forward.

Costco is the best shopping experience on the planet! Their buyers are smart, savvy, and ruthless in getting the absolute best prices possible - even if it means producing bigger or better than the competition and selling it as the Kirkland brand. I have been a member since before it was Costco when it was Price Club in CA. Costco products and policies are the best and most generous in the industry. I have never been disappointed with a purchase because if I am disappointed in a product I return it no questions asked! Oh, and if you find something at Costco that you need, want, or like you better get it because youll never find it for a better price or quality and it may very well be gone the next time. Finally, we are lucky to have a Costco in Dayton so take advantage of it. Cancel your Sams Club membership and switch to Costco. Get the Executive membership. I have rarely, if ever, paid for my annual membership. And if it doesnt pay off they will refund the difference of your upgrade to Executive.

Waited 45 minutes in line only to find out that they dont take normal credit cards. In their defense they did offer to let me apply for the bastard child of credit cards that they do accept (American Express). Very strange that their website does take major credit cards. Web directions guide you to a residential house in Centerville. Phone instructions need to know which direction you are coming from before the automated system can tell you how to get to the store. This is not how you give directions. Store does not give guest visits for purchase. Parking lot was designed buy a very creative chimpanzee. They tore down a beautiful old growth forest to build this joke only to grow very large areas of grass and dwarf ornamental trees. This was a very horrible first impression and I think I would rather shop at Walmart when only one register is open. : (

Excellent Everyone in the store is extremely friendly and extremely helpful. Ive never been to another store that has been so friendly. Very friendly cashier named Tiffany even remembers my name. Kudos to the whole team hopefully the morale stays this way. This right now is what the other grocery stores should look at as an example. Additionally if you are looking good at a costco membership please know that costco is a "Mover and Shaker" products change all of the time. They rotate product and stock like there is no tomorrow. I like this because it keeps me looking for something good and new to like - I wont get used to liking and buying the same item over and over again and getting tired of it. I just wish it was a one stop shop. I should work here because I am here so much! < Thats a good thing!

I wish they stayed open later. You have to find a time to go when it isnt busy. When it is busy, it is hard to get to stuff. I am giving only three stars because of it being so busy, and it being hard to find a good time to go when it isnt busy. I have not experienced any rude staff at this store. They all seem pleasant. Some of the prices are good deals, but others are not. Just like any store, you have to look around. I have only ever bought groceries here. The bananas are usually green, but, once they ripen up, they have been delicious. If you can use it up before it goes bad (since you get so much), the produce is good and well priced. I have also gotten a lot good meat here.
