Best place for electronics! 90 return TV computers. Everywhere else 14-15 days. Best prices best buy cant even touch their laptops. Make sure hp. TV good too. One trick READ if its a Samsung not sure of others. Reset your X1 box. Picture is fine. Hopefully you see this. Spent two hours almost returned TV because people had some bad reviews. The TV is 6 months old and works great! Just didnt know and no instructions to reset the Comcast X1 box. It was a frozen picture with sound. Its like anything though. Try the simplest stuff first plugged in surge protector on powered up. Wouldnt believe how many times helped someone and it was one of these or a restart. Costco as a business seems very good to specially their brand of food. Cant say anything about a Chicago cubs hotdog but Id take a Kirkland hotdog over a ballpark any day (kinda hard for me to say) I love ball park but theirs are wonderful. The employees seem really happy too. Only one piece of advise. If your going to buy a electronic device here and they say 90 days. You dont need that warranty unless your a clutz like putting a full glass of water next to your laptop. You should have 90 days, 3 months usually with electronics 2-5 days youll know if your device has a glitch like a bad solder on a board or a pixel out. And be smart dont smoke inside or at least around these. I used to smoke and work on computers. Regular dust is bad enough I never smoked around my electronics its a brown guey dust hard to get off. Like a heats ink on top of a processor under the fan nearly impossible to clean! Not say stop smoking just saying if you like that TV, stereo, computer, game system dont smoke around it. And weed is way worse my friends that would bring me stuff to clean and blow out. (think cigarettes have a filter do you put a filter on that blunt or joint?)

This review is NOT for the store itself but for the optical center. I wanted to save some money, so instead of going to SE eye specialist I decided to try the Costco Optical Center. Biggest MISTAKE! I made an appointment for 2 days away for a contact appointment, I went in and had a great appointment with the optometrist there. She was nice and really good but that was the last thing that was good about the experience. The appointment was the day before Thanksgiving, and I need a specialty lens for an astigmatism. They said it would be ordered that day and it would be in in a few days. Those days came and went, I called on December 5th asking if the trial lens had come in, not only had it not come in, it was NEVER ordered!! So the guy on the phone says he is placing the order right then and that they would be in in a few days. Well I call today, 9 days later and the girl tells me the lens has been ordered but it is not in yet! She said it can take 3 days to 1.5 weeks. to come in. It has been 1.5 weeks and she cant tell me when to expect it. Since it has been close to a month it is time for me to change contacts and I dont have any to change into because of poor ordering/customer service. So the Dr. is supposed to call be back to see if there is anything else I can wear in the mean time while I wait god know how long for the trial lens to come in. Then I still have to go back to see how they fit. This has turned into a terrible experience. I wish I had just paid the extra $40 and gone to my usual place. Lesson learned, wont go back here again. They dont realize that they not only lost me as a customer, but also my husband who needs to have his exam done too. How sad!

Ever since I chanced upon Costco in Kirkland, WA 18 years ago Ive been a Costnoscenti (get it?) and took it - hook, line & sinker. When I moved (back) to Tallahassee in 2005, I bought a house off of Buck Lake rd. good fortune would have it that a Costco would soon spawn at the roads origin (off of Mahan). This would mean that for the first few years of operation, Costco would not only be my "big box" but also my convenience store. Thats right, I would pop in for a gallon of milk only; an 18er of eggs only; a tupac of bread only. So, you see, dear reader... Costco was always my go to. Over time, I moved in to the big city that is TLH and Costco became my inconvenient store. No longer could I logically "pop in". And I certainly couldnt maintain my mayoral position on foursquare. Yet, it dawned on me that many a people drive 10 times the distance I do to experience the Kirkland way - and so it is such that Ive recommitted myself to Costco. Vastly superior to Sams (the butcher, alone, testifies to my claim) in every way. Finally, Ill say that, since Ive been with the TLH Costco since day 1, I have street cred with all the founding employees! If youve not experienced Costco, youre denying yourself. Theres no reason to defer the gratification of membership.

DONT TRUST TIRE CENTER WARRANTIES. I was a Costco member for 8+ years. For much of that time I was an Executive Member. I bought $1200 worth of new Michelin tires with 70K mile warranty. I kept my receipt. The tread on two of the tires started to chunk-out after 40K miles. I went to Costco with my receipt. Tire center employees told me they wouldnt honor the 70K warranty because I didnt rotate my tires frequently enough. My original receipt only said to rotate per the vehicle manufacturers recommendation. Two different tire center employees told me I should rotate every 5K miles (one said 5K and one said every 7K miles). This unheard of rotation pattern was not stated in my original purchase receipt. I went back home and got receipts showing rotation. I still got told that Costco wouldnt help whatsoever. I contacted Michelin and was directed to another, authorized retailer in Tallahassee. That retailer took a look at my tires and acknowledged a KNOWN PROBLEM with that make and model of tire. That retailer (of which I wasnt a member) credited me with over $300 per the manufacturers warranty. Even being an Executive Costco Member they wouldnt help me whatsoever with a known problem. I cancelled my membership - its a waste of money.

Costco is our "go-to" store. Were from Thomasville, and make the Costco run about once a week. Decent prices, and a very friendly, helpful staff. Once we even got some free help from the guys in the tire department when we had car trouble. We used to be Sams Club members, but no more ... we got tired of the associates "attitude", super-slow check-out, and the general no-respect treatment. Who needs that? Never a problem at Costco. Sometimes gets a little annoying when stuff changes with the seasons, and the staff moves stuff around ... but thats a minor gripe. A great place to shop, plus Bass Pro is right next door.... decent chow while youre shopping, too!
