My boyfriend and I was in Tampa on vacation and we decided to get some peircings and after all the googling this one spot stood out, so of course we decided to go there and see what they was about... The environment was very clean and also they were very welcoming as soon a see walk through the door..... When it time for me to get my nose pierced I got extremely nervous as always and Jak was very helpful in helpinge keep calm and being very explanatory on what to/ not to do in regards to caring for my peircing, he was efficient, quick and professional... I work in the medical field so I know how important it is to be all of the above! I definitely will visit again of Im ever in Tampa again.... I GIVE THIS PLACE 5 STARS!!! my peircing is only a couple days old and its like its not even there! I love it keep up the good work guys!

I rarely post reviews but I am so offended from my last experience at this establishment that I feel the need to. Ive been a regular for over a year. Normally I get a piercing. But this time, I brought a guy with to get my name tattooed on him. He was taking his time filling out the paperwork, as he has dyslexia. Josh Finkelstein accused him of being drunk and told us to leave because "were not in to the Mistress/slave bullshit." Since this was the last tattoo shop in ybor that was open, we went back to ybor the following morning and got it done at 1603 Tattoo & Piercing company. Far better customer service and the price was $20 less. Do not go to this place. Higher rates and rude staff.

In the last year I have had 15 tattoos all done by Steve McAlister. I have not had an issue with one of then. He is an amazing artist who specializes is American traditional tattoos, but is most certainly not limited to that specific style. My back is a flawless pop art/geometric piece and Im constantly being stopped and asked about my work and I direct everyone here. The staff has a wide range of talents and can help you with anything you need. Ive been pierced by both John Cole and Jak Landon and have had an amazing experience everytime I step foot in the shop. If you are looking for some new ink or some metal than this is the place to be. They can truly make your body art.

Went in with my boyfriend for him to get his first tattoo and ended up needing to get another one! Steve at the shop was super friendly and has a traditional style with tattooing, which is exactly what I love. He was very open to my tattoo idea and made an awesome sketch for me to get the tat I love! I have been a lot of places where I dont find the people working there friendly, but here I felt very comfortable. My tattoo from Steve came out better than I could have imagined! I plan to go back in next couple weeks :) highly recommend him/ bay city tattoos

My spouse and I have both had work done by Jeff and have referred many other people there as well. He really enjoys doing special pieces rather than picking the boring page 11, picture 22 type of thing. Go in there with an idea and an open mind and Jeff n the staff will turn that into more than you would ever imagine. I thought being in Ybor that they would be more expensive and they really werent. Quality costs money but they are extremely reasonable. Very personable, very respectful, very light touch, very precise. You just cant ask for more.

Great people in their. Although Im not 100% happy with my tattoo... I still love it. I just got something spur the moment. My tatt is nice and smooth and coloring looks good. I wish I had more time to detail my tattoo, but hey its what I get for coming in 30mins before theyre about to close. I dont know who that dude was that did it(he wasnt fat just a little bit bigger than everybody else tho), but he did a good job on it. The cost was very reasonable. Id go back.

I was recently in shop and Artist Steve McAlister went above and beyond to give my husband a Military Veteran an incredible tattoo!!! Steve also extended a Military Discount to us for his Military Service. Steve McAlister has a wealth of talent which is reflected in his work! The Shop had a top notch clean environment! I highly recommend Bay City Tattoo . Jeff Z is great. Ive had friends and family members who have had work done by him and I am always impressed with the results. I had my first piece done by him today and I am really happy with it. The shop is clean and he is friendly and professional, but the most important thing is that he is incredibly talented. Jeff is the absolute best!! He has tattooed several of my friends and family members and I would highly recommend him to anybody! He is professional and prices are great. His work speaks for itself. The colors are beautiful. So glad I started going to Jeff over the past few years for my half sleeve!

Just went here today with my dad to get a couple matching tattoos, we had Jak. It was a walk-in and he took us right away. Very detail oriented, helpful and got the Hebrew script perfectly (as well as a beautiful font). Clean area and a really cool guy. Highly recommend.

Jeff did a beautiful, awesome, excellent cover-up for me about a year ago. Also I just got a great piece done by Josh who is a great artist as well! I always recommend Bay City tattoos to everyone who compliments my body art! I wouldnt go anywhere else. Love you guys!

Made a last minute decision to get a little surprise ink. Could not have been happier!!! Jak is by far one of the best artist that I have sat with. Im not in pain, doesnt hurt at all!!! Cannot wait to schedule my next appointment with him!!!! Do it!!!!!!!

I love that I was greeted and welcomed with kindness. Sometimes when shopping around to get a tattoo artists and shops can be intimidating and not very helpful but this was not the case at Bay City Tattoos. Im excited to go back and get my tattoo. :)

I went with my girlfriend to get a piercing and he told us that if we do anything "freaky in front of him hed have to get his video camera out". I also got wooden plugs that they told me were 2s, after a few days with them in, I cant get them out.
