When I first went to Art explosion, I wasnt very impressed. I didnt feel that my artist took good care of me or spent enough time on my tattoo and did not want to go back. When the owner found out that I wasnt happy, he really went out of his way to ask me what was wrong and wanted me to come in and he would fix it himself and that the previous artist wasnt there anymore. He offered to put in some color and really "hook me up". It really surprised me and he has shown some of the best customer service Ive ever seen from a tattoo shop. I will go back just to see him since he really cares.

Talked to Brad and Don, got in with Don the next day. Don has been tattooing for 20+ years, does amazing work, and improved upon the idea of the tattoo that I wanted. Got my Confederate and American flag centerpiece with statuesque/cracked concrete designed tribal to complete the armband. Took 4.5 hour, was very patient and highly skilled. Go to this place if you want to get an amazing tattoo! I was visiting my folks in Sarasota, and it was certainly worth the drive to go out of my way to get it done here.

Tito is very thorough and detailed. He doesnt watch the clock, but rather focuses on the work to ensure it comes out the way the customer envisions. He was willing to work with me to create the ideal tattoo with the space available. Im already looking forward to the next appointment for him to touch up some old work. His ability to communicate his efforts to ensure the customer is comfortable is a huge plus. He definitely earned my trust with the work he put on my body.

As a 70 year old, I was delighted to get my very first tattoo at Art Explosion by Matthew Chivers. He was extremely patient helping me with the design which, incidentally, turned out to be a beautiful classic. The process was painless and his instructions for after-care worked perfectly. I plan to return to Matthew for a second tattoo and I would highly recommend Art Explosion to any tattoo newbie or veteran for their expertise and world-class service.

I have gotten all of my artwork done at Art Explosion by Brad Woods. All of the artists are very polite and professional. The shop is very clean, sterile, and well taken care of. The artwork is simply amazing and well done. They are good at walking you through the tattoo and/or piercing process. Definitely recommend Art Explosion for fantastic tattoo work, definitely a place to go to make the lifelong tattoo commitment.

Went to Matt on December 6 2014 and gave a deposit for a drawing that was promised in a few days. 12/21 I called and requested my money back because I never received my drawing and Matt told me the owner wont allow refunds. Art Explosion stole my deposit. Went to stigma tattoo and by the next day we had all the work done.

The guys are the coolest! Very down to earth and chilled out. The prices will blow your mind and make you not wanna leave. The guys working there are the best artist i have ever seen in my life! I am looking forward to getting some work done as soon as i get my chance and you should too.

My daughter had a full back tatoo created and designed by Brad Woods.... it is BEAUTIFUL. I have never seen such wonderful color(s) and workmanship. Im having a tatoo done by Brad on April 24 and Im very excited because I know his work ethic and his designs are out of this world!
