I went to this Atomic to get a tattoo I already had done extended, instead of following the VERY EASY pattern I have on my arm, John Larson, the manager of the shop decided to make his own pattern and screwed my whole tattoo up. Granted, if he had made a better pattern that looked better then the pattern I had I wouldnt have minded. But instead he put sloppy work that does not come close to resembling what I already have. A 5 year old could have done something more artistic. I paid a hundred dollars for 15 minutes of crappy work, that not only looks like crap - but has ruined my existing tattoo. Thanks John. I sent John an email telling him how upset I was the next day... he then told me to just come into the shop anytime and hed fix it for me. Well, now that I have tried to do that, multiple times, John is conveniently not available every time I try to go by, nor is anyone else that works there. So I ask for a way to get a hold of the owner, and again, Im given the run around. I have to call another shop to get that information... Which I got by the way. Hopefully they can make this right for me. I ask for a refund, figuring his poor attitude and customer service skills and lack of concern for my screwed up shoulder, was more then fair - Oh, but they dont do that either. I would suggest NEVER going to this shop - EVER. Im not saying anything about the other shops, they could be amazing, but I know first hand that this shop is horrible in the way they treat you and the work they put on you. Dont waste your time or your money.

I came here a couple months back to get a small tattoo it was about 4 words, well the picture I had showed them came nothing to what I wanted, it was a younger guy who did my tattoo and when I asked him to make it a little bit bigger so it wouldnt smear he got a attitude with me and made me feel very uncomfortable and the whole time they were laughing and joking at me and didnt seem interested AT ALL. My tattoo came out horribly, the D looked like a O and was way bigger than the rest, everything was way to close together and a few days later it was all smeared and looked awful I was so embarrassed! I went to dream house ink and ended up covering it up with a beautiful heart arm peice and was way happier.. I wouldnt suggest coming here because they honestly dont pay any attention and make you feel very uncomfortable. Im not a very picky person and Im not trying to be mean but tbh if I wanted a crappy tattoo I would have done it myself. It was 4 words, how wrong can you go with 4 simple words? You get what you pay for! Thank god I got it covered up by someone who knows what there doing.

I went to Atomic Tattoo just to get my second piercing on my ears, which I know isnt exactly the most creative or daring of body mods. However, the level of service for such a simple procedure became an indication of the seriousness and passion these people have for their art. I had my piercing done by Jean-Ann, who was not only knowledgeable and friendly, but was able to pierce my second holes in a way that made my first piercings look straight despite being lopsided. Im a big wimp with needles, but her humor--masochist humor, of course, lol: "This wont hurt, but if it does, think about how happy it will make me!"--set me at ease and was a great experience overall. Bottom line: no punch guns! Just big needles, a good eye for placement, cute earrings and now three weeks later, everything is healed and lovely! Thanks Jean-Ann.

I got a tattoo there, and it turned out ok, but only after a huge hassle. I felt like a total pushover going along with it. The staff here is terrible, very rude people, completely lacking in customer service. I walked in with a hand drawn idea of the tat, and he had to redraw it. It was of a feather, and the guy drew it really lame and bubbly-like, unrealistic artwork and pretty girly. I was set on what I wanted and that wasnt it.. at all. He wasnt at all courteous, showing his lack of patience so openly and quickly. At some point someone in there called me A picky MFer.. I wasnt being rude or anything! I should have walked right then and there. Like I said, I felt like a total pushover. Dont get tattooed here.

I went in to discuss getting my daith pierced to alleviate migraine pain. Corey was awesome, explaining pros and cons of having this done. I decided that if it didnt work for me, I would still have an awesome piece of jewelry. I was averaging about 4-6 migraines/week, and a handful of lower grade headaches. I had my daith pierced now 5 weeks ago and I have not had a single migraine. I had a couple of dull headaches begin but as soon as I moved my piercing a little, it went away. Ive now had 2 additional friends in other parts of the country get their daith pierced and have had similar results. Thank you Corey for the great experience! Im so glad you were able to help me with this!

HORRIBLE! went to go get my 1st tattoo there and it was ok, weeks after it was supposedly healing the color didnt stay on and i was told the person would fix it. Every time i go by the person is never there even though i would call hours in advance to make sure they were supposed to work that day. Everyone there is super stuck up and so rude. please change the attitude and have better customer service ....if u were stuck up but at least could back it up i would get it .... theres a million tattoo places with much better artist and friendly people i have since then gone to elite tattoo on dale mabry ...much better.

you couldnt pay me to get a tattoo here walked in one evening to check the place out and inquire about possibly getting some ink done. And the staff just seemed lazy and generally uninterested in my business the artist seemed self involved or on there phones one guy was even kicked back in his own chair.I already have both arms sleeved so it wasnt as if i wasnt serious about having some work done.Needless to say the place gave me a bad feeling so i left,I havnt heard of or seen any great tattoos come out of an atomic shop if your serious about getting some work done i suggest going somewhere else.

I now have my half sleeve done with things that represent my son who was born premature by Mike who took all of my ideas and put them together better than I had imagined and I absolutely love it and everywhere I go I always get compliments on my artwork ,I am so happy with it I have had tattoos done by other artist and Mike is by far the best I have encountered and I will not be working with anyone else for as long as he is tattooing! I am overly pleased with Atomic and Mikes great work!!! :)

Ive been going to Atomic on Waters Ave. for about a year now and have had amazing interactions with everyone at this shop. Ive been to Travis (their piercer) for dermals and piercings and have been tattooed by Mike a couple of times. Both have been extremely professional and knowledgeable. They walked me through everything and made sure I was comfortable during the process. I cannot say enough good things about this shop. Go see Mike or Travis! You wont be disappointed. :)
