I went 2-July-10 for my first tattoo with a friend who has a couple and was looking to add another one. Ive been trying to get my tattoo for years now, and every other place has turned me down, and several have made appointments and flat out not shown up. My tattoo is my sons name in Korean (a Korean name so no translation needed). For someone who doesnt read Korean, he captured it far better than I expected. There were minor intricacies lost, but he managed to somehow gain on some of the larger intricacies. He was very adamant about making sure I had everything right, he could have very well said "I dont know what it means Ill just do it and take this guys money. I dont have to live with it he does". It actually helped me because I said my own birth month instead of my sons when he asked the first time, after filling out the paperwork, and was so aware thanks to him that I caught it right away. When you get in, just take a look at his portfolio if you are unsure, some of his work is mind blowing, and all of it is quality. Im glad that the other shops in the Tampa area gave me problems and ultimately led me to Drew. Less than 5 hours and Im trying to think of what to do next.

Drew is a fantastic artist. If you want a tattoo you will love, you should seek out Iron Rose Tattoos to get it. Drews artistic vision will take your concepts, interests and ideas and create a tattoo concept that will leave you impressed and appreciative that you didnt just walk in to any old tattoo shop and pick something off the wall. Trust me, my first tattoo was just that, a piece of flash from a tattoo parlor that I knew nothing about. After years of contemplating, I found my way into Iron Rose Tattoos with a desire for a cover-up and some very basic ideas. Drew took very little information about my interests and came up with a couple options. I chose the Koi... I now practically have a fish swimming on my arm! I went back for another piece with a little more in mind and what I got was a tattoo of such quality that it could easily be framed and sold in a gallery. Oh, and by the way... when I went in to get the cover-up that was going to be the end of my tattooing. The artwork was so fantastic that I couldnt help but get another one!

I was looking around the tampa area for a great one on one experience with a tattoo artist. After stumbling through a few places I felt let down by what tampa bay had to offer. I gave up the search for a while but after driving by and seeing the iron rose sign I figured it was worth a shot. This is by far the best shop ive been to. The tattoo quality is amazing and Drew went above and beyond what I wanted. I got a kickass tattoo from a kickass person. This will be the only shop I will be going back to, of course once I have more reasons to get inked.

Words do not describe how pleased I am with Drew and His wife Tiffany. This whole process was so awesome especially for someone like myself who was a blank canvas. I emailed them what I had in mind and what the meaning behind it was. He took my thought and put it in color. He is a true artist I have seen many of my friends get tatoos and I must say drew is the best from the cleanliness of the studio to the aftercare instructions. If your not getting tattooed at iron rose dont bother to get tattooed.

After browsing Drews portfolio, I contacted him for my first ever tattoo. He responded to my emails quickly and I was able to get an appointment convenient for me. I had a concept in mind and Drew was able to capture it even better on my skin. He was so informative, letting me know what to expect during the entire process. Drew is the best! Got me a sweet sweet tat lolz. No but for real his work is incredible, the shop is awesome, he even has pretty smelling soap in the bathroom. He uses top notch products and I love my tattoo. Starting to plan another... If youre looking for a new piece definitely call him up.
