I am singing Famous Tates praises here today. I had ordered a Bosch four door refrigerator at Best Buy because the Bosch website said that was the only local place I could get it. The delivery was four days out and was such a nightmare that I cancelled the order, leaving me without a fridge. I called Tates and the salesman looked up inventory over the phone, told me he would be able to deliver the next day and gave me the discounted bundle price without me asking for any discount. Done in ten minutes at 200 dollars less, after days of Best Buy run around and two days of waiting for a delivery that never showed up (One was an eight hour window, absurd!). Tates called early the next morning and gave us a two hour window. They delivered within that window and it was a white glove delivery! Two young men put the fridge in place, hooked it up to water and electric, attached parts and wiped it down and checked everything. Best Buy charges 69.99 for in house delivery and tell you that that is half price. Tate has it as part of the sales and service (free). I am a very happy customer and recommend Famous Tates highly.

Terrible place. Management completely unhelpful if you dont like purchase. Stated you cant just return a refrigerator if you dont like it when you can return cars within 30 days by law. Lemon law. Slimy staff that once they make the sale they could care less whether you like the product or not. Stay away from this place. They slip in fine print that we did not sign they hold over you and refuse to budge. They just keep repeating over and over I cant help you. And act like you are an idiot for signing it. Rather than help they lectured on why you cant return refrigerators. Haughty, disrespectful, and condescending.

Wow... just wow. Almost bought a fridge at Sears, but a friend recommended checking famous tates first. The $1400 fridge at Sears was $1000 at FTs. The 3 year extended warranty at Sears was $279. At FTs, the same 3 year warranty was $99. On top of that the sales people were great... not at all pushy and very very helpful. (In all honesty, the sales lady at Sears was very nice and helpful also, so that wasnt really an issue). Ill end this review by stating that the next time I need an appliance (or a mattress, which they also sell), famous tates will be the place I go. Seriously... this place rocks!

This was my first business with Famous Tate and Im delighted with my purchase of a GE washer. First off everybody in town wanted $625 for the washer and some were even sold out. Famous Tate had it for $499 and delivered it the next day! I was in and out of the store in 15 minutes. Delivery, set up and hauling away the old washer was free. From the salesman to the delivery guys, everyone was pleasant and helpful. Most my shopping is based strictly on price and its nice when you get great service too! Ill be back.

I had a wonderful experience with Famous Tate. I purchased a new washer and dryer over the phone - they even helped me pick the best models that met my criteria and they were delivered 2 days later. The delivery guys from Diverse Logistics (Angel and Julian) were professional, helpful, and very courteous. They disconnected my old pair and hooked up & tested the new set fat no charge (Home Depot wanted $130!!!). Ill use FT anytime I am making an appliance purchase.

We had a great experience buying a washer. Jeff showed us the models that met our needs and explained the features on each one. He is very knowleable about the products and he let us take our time making a decision. The washer was delivered the next day. The delivery and set up team were very nice and took the time to demonstrate and test the machine. We went back a few weeks later and bought a kitchen suite because of our first experience. Thanks Jeff!!!

How can a company expect their delivery crew to install appliances without tools ? And how do you level them without a level ? So far this hasnt been very professional ..leveled the washer myself when they left. Dryer was sent back because of an awful noise.
