We called these guys for service on our refrigerator. Even though we told them the make and model in advance, within minutes of the tech arriving, it was clear he had no idea what he was doing. After about a half hour of staring at the fridge, he told us he didnt know how to get to the back of the machine. It was near impossible to understand him, due to a language issue. I called the new port richey store to explain what was happening and the woman was extremely rude and hung up on me (I didnt raise my voice at all. At that point, I was hoping they would just send someone else because we have been without a fridge for three days. I called back hoping we had just been disconnected and I was automatically forwarded to the owner. Wow. He was a piece of work. He was beyond obnoxious and didnt care at all about what was happening or the fact that the woman had hung up on me. People like this should not own businesses. He was rude, obnoxious, very shady and a horrible business man. Save yourself the aggravation and go to someone who knows what theyre doing and appreciates your business. If I could give this guy less than 1 star, I would.

Ill just keep it simple. If I could give zero stars I would. They sold me junk the first day I had them the wash did not drain and the dryer pully was broken. I did not even get one load of laundry done. Had to go to laundry mat to Finnish. I had a warranty. But no one showed up after three difrent days of no show They would not return my calls anymore so I gave up . So I just went and pick up some new ones from lowes. I recomend Dont buy anything From bayshore They suck. They also have a store in Clearwater. And maybe largo. Ps. I my be out $600. But on the back of my pick up truck I posted ( BAYSHORE appliance Is a rip off ) wish I could show a photo of it. I also put it on the sides of my dads old box truck and I park it at flea markets and Im going to take it to the Florida state fair. I have had many people tell me that is a good ideal to get the massage out. And they love it. Also had people tell me thank you for the info. Lol I my have lost $600 but how much have you lost BAYSHORE . So if you see my trucks honk if you like it. Thanks

Do not purchase major appliances from these charlatans! My mother and father (both very elderly) bought a used refrigerator from them over a week ago. It hasnt worked correctly since they delivered it and Bay Area Appliance has simply played them and us along. When it didnt work after delivery, they did come out and work on it and also attempted to repair the icemaker. Still didnt keep temp in the refrigerator and ice maker still didnt work. They came out again and attempted repairs....same result. They then (John the owner) that if they couldnt get it repaired on the next trip they would replace it with another refrigerator. They were out today (over a week now messing with these people) and still didnt fix the refrigerator and now the owner is saying "Well.....to give them this other refrigerator he has to have an additional $50." The story changes daily.........sorry my folks bothered with this fly by night rip off!

I am writting this review on bay area appliances cause i have bought a washer and dryer from them and when i needed my dryer cord hooked up to my dryer they tell me they will be here at 12 pm or so it had gotten to be after 6 pm and no call or no show. Then during the day i kept trying to call them to find out what is taking so long and they would not answer then phone so we called from another phone and number they did not recognize and they answered and asked us why are you calling from a different number. .all during they day they said they would be here in fourty five minutes no show 2 hours later. then they said within the next 15 minutes no show. they say they will return your callls and dont. this office is in new port richey off of hwy 19. if you need reliable service go somewhere else.

There are a lot of bad reviews thus far on this store. Im writing a good review based on service thus far, the condition of the units I bought, and the price. Service has been good. I was sold a whirlpool washer and dryer that looked very nice. The washer has 9 cycles and 5 speeds. The dryer has 4 cycles and 3 temps. Delivery, hook up, and a 90 day warranty was included at the price of 375, which is pretty fair if the operational condition meets or exceeds the physical condition of the appliances. My first load in the washer is going now. Everything appears good. Well see how the dryer does and how well the units work down the road. I believe that I can come back and edit my review. Im hoping to do so with a 5-star or even a four. If not, Ill be another one of the single star reviews. Jim

I purchased a cheap washer and dryer from them and they delivered right away. The dryer did not turn off when the door opened, I did not know until delivered and was told then and that there was a 90 day warranty. I called and asked about repairing it and was told someone would be out several times and no one showed up. It was delivered on Oct. 13 and finally on Oct. 31 a repairman showed up and in 5 minutes installed a new switch to make it work properly. I am thankful that it has been repaired. Both appliances work just fine. After reading the reviews I had been afraid that they would not repair it for me. They did repair it and am thankful that I was able to purchase a cheap washer and dryer that works. That renewed my faith in them.

As a flipper I have bought from this store several times and never have had a problem. Always worked with me to make sure I got the right product for my houses. They have great prices and fast delivery. Alway clean up and always make sure I am happy and everything is working before they leave. I had been in law enforcement for 26 years and for me to give 5 stars is hard to do but so far they have delivered on every occasion. New store manager in Port Richey/Holiday is great and she is always looking for new deals for me. Cant say enough good things and I trust them enough to send my son their way as he now has his first flip property. I recommend you stop in and give the new manager a try and see her prices. I totally agree with the reviews from Patrick & Jared! We bought a brand new washer and dryer Feb 27 and 5 weeks later the washer stopped working. After phone calls on a daily basis (from my side) they finally sent a tech on the 4th day, but nothing resolved. Then they said they ordered a new part which was suppose to be installed a week ago on Monday, we waited home but no tech, no phone call. I called again on Wednesday and they asked me for the model number AGAIN! He told me they received the incorrect part, but would be here by Friday. Its now Monday evening, still no word, no tech and Ive been without a washing machine for 15 days! I am VERY unhappy!!
