Worst service ever. I walked in relaxed, patient, in a good mood ready to ask the staff for some advice and assistance in my printing project, which as far as I know is their job. However.... When I walked in I was greeted by a young woman who seemed to be assisting another customer. She asked me what she could help me with and I told her I wanted to print a picture, but was deliberately vague as she seemed to already be occupied and I didnt want to interrupt the customer who was there first. Upon further questioning I told her that I wanted some advice as so what size I should get as I wasnt sure (again, I thought this would be a part of her job working in the printing department). At this point she told me she didnt know how to help me because she didnt know what I was looking for, and that normally people come in already knowing. I reiterated that I was looking for some assistance, but she told me she couldnt see what was in my head and therefore couldnt help. Meanwhile the previous customer was still standing there, credit card in hand, apparently in the middle of a transaction. Staples, is it company policy to stop assisting customers to offer assistance to and then berate other customers who dont immediately know what they are looking for? In addition I was puzzled by the fact that during this exchange there was a gentleman toward the back of the photo area, standing at a computer without a guest, who simply watched our exchange, but said nothing. I have worked in customer service for close to 15 years and I would be appalled if any member of my team behaved in this manner. Needless to say, I will take my business elsewhere from now on.

I absolutely hated my experience here. I typically love Staples for their friendly service the the lady who was there to "help me" at their brand new copy and print center was not only awful, but TERRIBLY MEAN. I came in there asking for help to copy a certificate and then print a name on there, and the lady IMMEDIATELY sent me to Self-Service print saying that she was "very busy on a project" I went to do it this way and copied the certificate. Then, when I asked her which tray to use to put the certificates in she turned her back. I asked a man to help me who was working near the register and even he said "you should have the copy and print center help you with that" so he went to ask this lady and the lady turned her back and yelled "ITS A SELF SERVE PROJECT IM BUSY RIGHT NOW" WITH HER BACK TURNED to the other associate. So, myself and the man working tried to do this in self serve and it failed 3x... And since its self serve they made me pay for everything. If this is Staples way of getting their moneys worth on mistakes made with paper, well Kudos to you. While I went to quickly grab the certificate holders for the certificates that I have not successfully printed, I now see this lady helping someone else... Which only 3 minutes ago she could not do for me. I WILL NEVER GO INTO THIS STAPLES AGAIN and this specific store needs to have a nice talk with their employess about what it means to have people skills in a job where you work with people.

This location has TERRIBLE service. Our office brought in a photo to be printed on 24 X 36 on Thursday to be collected the following Tuesday. On the EXPECTED day of pick up, we were told that there was nothing on the file that THEY pulled from our flash drive. After waiting almost ONE HOUR, I was told that the system had to be shut down after they printed TWENTY orders and THEN they would see whether they can print our photo. I left after I was told that our photo would be be ready for collection at 9:00 the following morning. THIS morning, I got a call AND an email stating that they can not locate the file. SHARIF is very RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. After I had to ask him to please contact the lady who dealt with me he FINALLY located the file. Sharif went on to ask whether we placed the order online and when I said that it was a "walk -in", he proceeds to reprimand me about "that is why they encourage customers to place orders on-line, next time, please place the order on line." He went on to state that they should have taken the payment before the order is printed. I informed Sharif that I had the check IN-HAND and at no time was I told that payment was required BEFORE the order was printed. To reprimand a customer when an order went awry from inception is not acceptable and we will bot be using THIS location of Staples again!

I read the reviews for this place and thought I would see for myself if it was as bad as others had stated. I visited on a Tuesday morning around 11am. I did a lot of browsing to see the reaction of the employees and to see if I would be profiled. The reaction was nothing but, "Are you finding everything you need, sir?" or "Good morning, may I help you find something?" Once I did let an employee know what I needed, she courteously led me directly to the item. The staff I encountered were professional and pleasant to interact with. The store itself was clean and organized. My experience at this Staples location was one of the best partially due to not encountering the usual snootiness and/ or apathetic employee attitudes usually encountered in the DC area but mostly for a pleasant shopping experience.

I just had a great experience at this store. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by an employee who was very intuitive when I lacked the words for what I was looking for. Instead of directing me, he walked me through the aisles and picked up exactly what I needed. The cashier was also very friendly in helping me select the right ink cartridges behind the counter and ringing me up quickly. Maybe time of day is key for going here? I walked in at about 4:30 on a Monday and have no complaints at all.

I walked in to purchase a HP Printer that was rated online as the top printer to buy. I asked the employee that was helping me questions about the product and he was pretty familiar with the product. He was very polite especially when he was trying to steer me to purchase another more expensive printer. I held my ground and ended up buying the printer I came in for. I did have a good experience at the store. The rep did mention all the pros and cons of both machines and articulated it very well.

I hate to give bad reviews- but its necessary for Staples and Print. I currently use 2 stores in DC 1. 19th and L Street NW 2. 1250 H Street NW Both of these stores screwed up my requests and tried to make it seem like it was my fault. The Manager was not knowledgeable of products and certain procedures. The staff were rude and offensive.

The sales floor folks here are outstanding. They go beyond to help you find and understand what you need, and they help you get the best deal. This store is so close to Metro Center, its perfect. If I get something big, Ill just order online and take my folding cart with me. No hassle; super staffers.
