I went into the Sprint store in Dupont Circle/Farragut on Friday, October 5, to look at potential phones since my contract with Sprint was up for renewal. The gentleman who helped me that day was Robert, and he was courteous and patient as I looked at the differences between the new iPhone 5 and the iPhone 4S. When I decided on the iPhone 5 and Robert placed the order in their system for me, we ran into some system glitches that prolonged the order placement. The 30-minute wait while the glitch was resolved didnt phase me since it wasnt Roberts fault and he was patient in giving his time to help me. My only concern about this part of the process was the lack of communication; I asked what was going on after he got a manager and they stared intently at the screen for several minutes without offering any explanation, and later I asked about how long they expected it to be or what they were planning to do to resolve the issue. Once the issue was resolved, I was told to expect ~2 weeks for my phone to arrive- I understood this was only an estimate since the time frame would truly be up to Apple. I didnt hear back for 2 1/2 weeks, so I followed up with a phone call. The woman who answered the phone didnt ask for my name or information, nor did she check to ensure the phone had not arrived. Instead, she told me that Robert would have to help me and was out of the office. She also told me she wasnt aware of any phones coming in during that time. I missed a phone call from the Sprint store that weekend while out of town and followed up 3 days later on Tuesday, October 30th, after I returned. I had the same unhelpful conversation as the first time. A woman answered who told me Robert would have to help me and he would not be in until the next day. I told her I was able to come in that day and believed that my phone had indeed come in. She told me that no white iPhone 5 had arrived to her knowledge, but she did not put me on hold to check or send anyone else to check. As I tried to convince her to check for me, she raised her voice and spoke over me, insisting that Robert help me and got my phone number to pass along. I gave up. When Robert called me the next day (Wednesday), he told me that my phone had come in the past weekend. I asked if it was Sprint policy to allow me to work only with my initial salesperson, voicing I didnt think it was a customer-friendly policy since our schedules werent matching up. He replied that was not Sprints policy. The person who had emailed Robert my phone number for follow-up was Clarissa Guzman, who he suspects was the person I talked to on the phone. I am re-considering signing another 2-year contract because of this customer service experience and the stores lack of communication. Even though Robert was polite and willing to help, getting him on the phone to help me was difficult and frustrating. Now I wont be able to get my phone until the weekend on November 3rd (4 weeks after placing my order and 1 week after my phone arrived) since I wont be available during the stores business hours until then. If Clarissa had helped me yesterday, I would have my phone now and wouldnt be writing this review. I also wouldnt be re-considering another 2 years with Sprint. :(

This "Corporate" Sprint store in DC is the worst, lacking in customer service and technical support! I went in today to simply upgrade my old iPhone 4 to a new phone and Artis told me I had to pay $141 + $25 per month for new iPhone 5S, new 2-year contract, and lose all my contacts/pictures because I never setup an iCloud account on my phone. Because weve been Sprint customers forever, that didnt sound right so I walked over to the other Sprint store at 2021 L Street. Lauren and the ladies there were EXTREMELY helpful and I walked out paying only $31 for my new iPhone 5S and ALL of my contacts/pictures she downloaded using iTunes. When the Big store says NO, the ladies at Sprint 2021 L Street will find a way to say YES!

The store is very poorly organized with at least five various stations for different requests. The four times I have been in there they have been significantly understaffed and dont communicate well where people should go or how long it will take to get service. On my last visit I waited in three different lines for 30 minutes before I ran out of time and had to leave. Worse, the staff seems so used to the poor service they are indifferent and unhelpful. Once speaking with the right staff person I found her to be very helpful. I will attempt my third time picking up a replacement phone sometime next week.

I upgraded my current Galaxy 6s to the Galaxy8s pro. This is the first time in all of my years dealing with Sprint that the level of service was outstanding. Gerardo Lezcano was the sales manager and I could not have been better treated. Good Customer Relationship Management is the cornerstone of continued business outcomes for any company in the consumer sector. As native New Yorker, the Sprint sales offices should take note on this Circle of Excellence

Great customer service! Robert was very helpful in ordering me an exchange phone for my defective Note 7. I have dealt with 3 other sprint stores that left me with a great disappointment and caused me to contemplate to cancel my account. Thank you store manager and Robert for working extremely hard not only to listen to my concerns but also to address them effectively and efficiently.

It all started out well but it seems that employees in the store didnt wanna put in that extra efford to help out the customer. After being their for almost 2 hours they put me on the phone because they couldnt figure it out, at the end I ended up leaving with no new phone and very disappointed.
