Ive been to BJs only a few times, having a membership at Sams because its closer, and buying primarily food items which are easy to prepare and keep. Of the two, BJs selection and quality in most food items that I buy seems to be superior. Some examples: cut frozen green beans not as stringy as the brand at Sams; good clean frozen spinach, not available at Sams; better quality and longer lasting potatoes, onions, and bananas; better whole grain bread selection; natural peanut butter not found at Sams. I still shop at Sams because of convenience and certain packaged bakery items but would recommend checking out BJs for food comparison.

This is just a overall comment on my experience with BJs wholesale as a company. I love the fact they accept coupons which COSTCO does NOT do because of "their already low prices", and service has always been fast and friendly and I think only one time in the past few years have I had to wait more then 3-5 min at checkout like you do at SAMS or COSTCO 99% of the time. Since I buy bulk items that last me months at a time id gladly drive 40 miles to a BJs then 10 to the others.

Do not, under any circumstances, take your car to BJs for any kind of auto work! Their contractor Monro is TERRIBLE. Unless OD course you like crappy customer service and want to have them take 6 hours to install 4 new tires and forget to do an alignment that you asked them to do. Similar experience with the BJs in York, PA. Ill go to BJs for household items my family needs but Ill NEVER take any vehicle to those idiots ever again! Buyer beware.

There are never any cashiers and you have to ring your own stuff up. Its also really small for a Wholesale club and not a lot of selection. Also, like another user said, never take your car to Monro for work. Complete scam artists who tried to charge me to much for brakes and tires.

The Dunkin donuts there had flies all over the donuts and there was a fly in the fresh bagel box. Its also an oven in that place, poor employees

Love shopping here. Pick up all supplies I need in bulk. My family loves the cakes, the new deli has some of the best roast beef Ive had.
