I dont know what happened to customer service but at this Wal-Mart it was horrible! Went to jewelry to take back a necklace that broke, I have a warranty. First 2 people oh I font know what to do. Then we got well the lady that works here is on break, really! None else that works in this store dont know how to deal with sending back a necklace to be fixed! How dumb is that? So we go back to jewelry counter and the only the lady that works in jewelry is back from break. So we tell her and without looking at the warranty she says its our responsibility to send it back. Oh no i dont think so, so we had to show it that it says to bring it back to the store! Ellen should be fired for her horrible customer service! And since when is the jewelry counter a check out for groceries had to stand there while she wad checking out s lady that had a cart full of stuff.

The South Hanover Walmart in the last two weeks have terminated two older employees that were greeters (Ken & Henry). The termination reasons were not based on poor performance, they were terminated because they did their jobs well. The commonality between their cases is that they were both older gentleman with long durations of employment. Walmart has faced several cases of age descrimination lawsuits in the last two years. It almost seems as if Walmart is intentionally terminating older employees and practicing Age Descrimination. The general public is furious and many are boycotting the store. So how much did the terminations really cost you Walmart?

Have going to walmart for 10 years to get my oil changes done the past couple of years they have really been going down hill and today just did it I went in last Friday not knowing ypu had to make an appointment now for an oil change so I made one for monday went in today to get it done and there is a sign on the door saying sorry but we or only open Tuesday and Wednesday so now only the people who had appointments for those days will be the only one to get in I now have mad an appointment somewhere else and will never take my car back there if its not this then your sitting around for 2 plus hours to get one done.

not very happy with the optical department. I got glasses in March. when I tried these on I thought they were to large since I have a very small head. I was reassured by the girl that they fit well. meanwhile I had major surgery and was homebound 6 weeks. I went back 3 times for adjustments -they still would not stay up unless they bent them so much that they cut into my ears. on my 3rd adjustment the girl told me I could return them if this didnt help. I returned a week later after being out of state to return them and was now told that it was just over 90 days & couldnt be returned! never told that!

Talked to a customer service manager for help. She paged someone. No one came. Called the service desk to get help. They paged someone. No one came. Over 20 minutes later .....Im tired of waiting. Went to pay for what I was buying. Talked to another customer service manager, but she offered no help. At the check out, initial CSM asked if anyone came back to help. "No" she did nt over an apology or anything to possibly help me. WOW. JUST WOW. and this is customer service!!!! I THINK NOT!!! very unhappy with this visit to Wal-Mart

Disgusted by this store and its treatment of its employees. Employees that were the reason we shopped here! I used to brag about what a nice Walmart we had and I know many others would drive from out of town just for this specific location. Not anymore. The employees that were fired made coming to this store feel like you were welcome and appreciated, they gave you a personalized shopping experience. That cannot be replaced. Walmart will have to do without my business, there are plenty of other grocery stores to shop at.

I absolutely love Wal-Mart and this one is normally less crowded then north Hanover. But I will no longer use their pharmacy. The pharmacist refused to fill a prescription because my doctor wrote them weekly instead of monthly. I also had the other pharmacist refuse to fill a prescription for the plan b medicine because she said it was against her beliefs. I complained to the corporate office who informed me that this is part of their policy and she had the right to refuse.

I handed out $20 in a Christmas card to each of the cashiers Christmas Eve. I just learned that the money and cards were confiscated by the management at Walmart because of the rules. I do not believe that the Walmart company could justify that no matter how you spin that. It was at least 15 people that received a card. Shame on you and your rules. I will leave so many bad reviews that you will be left wondering if it will be possible for a human to leave hat many.

My husband went in at lunch time for a oil change and to pickup some odds and ends we needed. He was told not today they are short handed and needed to leave early. There was only one other car there in the bay and no other cars waiting. Needless to say he went to jiffy lube and family Dollar for the things we need.

What a complete joke you are walmart and your corporate morons. Obviously you are discriminating against the employees age you couldnt have made that more obvious. Those employees were the backbone of your customer service. And they did their jobs well. I seriously hope they sue the crap out of you.!!!!!

Used to LOVE this Walmart-has gone downhill in recent years:poorly stocked, bathrooms with fixtures broken for nearly a year, stocking items not standard (case in point, I love a particular organic half n half...used to be a regular item, now you cant count on them having it), rarely enough cashiers.

This Walmart is like many of them - you can get what you need here. One thing I liked better than any other Walmart Ive been to... The self-service checkout registers have handheld barcode scanners so you dont have to empty your cart. Terrific!

Its Walmart. You know pretty much what to expect. Its fairly clean, prices are good. Almost never enough cashiers open. Poor corporate policies have led to employees being fired when any logical business owner would not have done so.

Waited 45 minutes to pick up an online order. Even had a manager walk by, and not help. Next time, instead of saving not even $3 picking the order up, Ill save myself 45 minutes and have it shipped to my house.
