I recently purchased a new corolla from this dealer. Within 2 month of the purchase I noticed a minor chip on windshield. I immediately went to the dealer to notify this. They said it was a minor chip repair and it should be taken care of without changing the windshield. The price they quoted was around $50 to fix it. As it was not a big amount, I did not bother to ask them and see if they pay for it being a new car sell. However, within 2 days of repair there was huge crack (around 10-12inch) right below and above the repair area. I had not driven this car for these two days other than driving the car from the dealership to home. I called the dealer and explained them the situation. Firstly, the service reception lady was outright rude (i believe her name was Rasehel). She said it was not the delership fault as the service was done by a third party etc. etc. However, I had called them and went to their dealership to fix it. I did not even know that it was done by a third party. I thought maybe she cannot decide on this kind of matter and calmly asked for the managers number whom I can talk to. She finally gave me his number. I called the manger and he was equally rude (i believe his name was dale). The manger went a step further and just ignored to what I was saying. He kept on repeating the same line every time "we cannot pay for this. Everything was installed right." How the heck did it crack within two months of purchasing a brand new car if everything was installed right? I think the bad job done by third party to fix this very tiny chip was in their premises. The responsibility to replace the windshield should have been theirs or the third party. However, I ended up replacing the windshield for $375 within two months of purchasing a new car and within 2 days of chip fix. Firstly, I think it may have been an installation problem and secondly it may have been the bad fix. I don’t think I should have paid for this. Note: I had a similar chip repair done (bigger one) on my other Toyota car (RAV4) at another Toyota dealer in Newark, DE and it has not have any problem for the last four years.

I suppose I have to give them some credit the reception staff is very courteous and professional and the manager I spoke with was helpful. However my salesman during the attempted car buying process is the main reason this review gets 2 stars. I walked into price Toyota after looking at a truck I liked on autotrader this was Tuesday night October 18th Carlos greeted me and showed me around the vehicle I expressed my willingness to buy said vehicle at which time he informed me that it was too late to run credit for financing but he would take my info and get back to me on Friday around 1pm concerning my credit approval. Flashforward to Friday and I received no call instead calling his desk twice at 1:45 and roughly 2:30 some hour later he calls me back and informs me due to the trucks age it could not be financed and I would have to pay cash. (now this didnt really bother me but I knew getting the cash would take some time an I wondered why this seemingly obvious company policy wasnt brought to my attention on Tuesday) so I agreed to give a deposit that night of $300.00 to hold the vehicle for me. He said it was not a problem and on Saturday I went to the bank applied for the loan and informed him that the bank would have an answer by Tuesday the 25th I asked if the vehicle would still be there and was assured that it would be. Ten minutes later Carlos contacted me again and said that they would not hold it( again I understand their predicament however had I known about the need for cash sooner I could have had his money much faster) its now Tuesday the 25th Ive been approved for my loan pending me dropping off a few documents and then Ill have money I dont need for a truck I cannot purchase all because my salesman wasnt knowledgeable about his own companys policies. I supposedly will be receiving my deposit via mail so I will patiently wait for that (fingers crossed the dont drop this ball as well) long and the short is if you do go there avoid Carlos Im sure they have better sales staff on hand who know how to make a sale happen.

I wish I had the option to rate a 0 .. Their service is VERY VERY BAD. Our car had a issue and its break pads had to be changed. We called to fix the appointment the previous day and we were asked to drop off the car at 8:30 in the morning and that it would take 3 hrs to fix the car . So the next day morning. WE asked for a shuttle to drop us back in our house after weleft the car for service . (They said we did not give them enought time to give us another car, so we asked for a shuttle) We gave our car at 8:30 AM and the shuttle was to come and pick us up at 2:30PM . When the car was to be ready in 3 Hrs WHY should we wait till 2:30 to be picked ??? Anyway we agreed. at 3 PM my husband calls the office to check on the shuttle and they say the shutle will come at 3:30 PM , My husband calls at 3:30 they did not repond at 4PM they tell him that the shuttle cab drives made a mistake , when some other customer cancelled the shuttle she THOUGHT it was my husband and went back to their office . FInally the Shuttle comes at 4:30 PM to pick us up from us house and its a 30 min drive to their service center. This is NOT the first time they did this to us . 2 months ago we had given the car for servicing and oil change they did they same thing . They told us 3 hrs and kept the car with them the whole day and we got it only EOD when their office was closing . They have no sense of time or any understanding about customer Service . YES I see some great reviews , But They are ONLY GOOD UNTI THEY SELL THE CAR . They are very unprofessional and their service center is bad.

I recently did my 2004 Toyota Sienna from Price Toyota, the minivan was oginally bought from them and also purchased with extended warrant (85,000miles/8 years with $50 deductable), the problem is AC in driver side wont work, when I did my first visit on Aug,28 2010, I was told my car freon was low, you only need AC service $90 and it will take care of everything, I had my car serviced and one days later, the AC did not work at all, it actually blew hot air, then I called them and took my car back for re-check, the service consultant ( a lady) first told my wife you need to pay $19 for the service, a while later, she told my wife again and said your AC seal was broken and need about $200 to get it fixed, my wife asked whats exactly the problems why the AC totlally not function at all after you did service a couple of day ago. the service consultant was very rude and said I am not a technicican and dont know whats the problem is, then I requested to talk to her on the phone, she was the rudeset service woman I never met before, when I asked whats the problem is and she refused to explain and only asked me you want your car serviced or not, I asked her to transferred me to her supervisor, she refused and left. I called again and finally get through to her supervisor and explained the situation, still nothing helped and he asked me to pay $50 for the deductable based on my extended warrant agreement. Price Toyata actually didnt identify the problems at the first visit, they tend to get you pback to pay more. I would suggest never go to service your car with them. Jim DE
