To be honest, my service wasnt all that bad. The girl who helped me did her job and I left with what I needed. But, Im gonna honest... Im a little confused as to why they have an inexperienced teenager as their animal care employee. When I first asked for assistance I was told to wait for... lets call her Terri. When Terri approached my mother and I she started off by saying, "What do you guys want?" Okay, well... we all have bad days, whatever. When I asked to take a look at one of their corn snakes, Terri grabbed the snake tank and set it on the ground. Trying to retrieve the snake she used a branch to look for it... instead she began poking and prodding it, clearly upsetting it. She decided that I had seen enough and told me that the constrictor snakes strike, therefore she was not going to retrieve it. Her excuse? No one handled the snake...ever. Ive never owned a snake before but not stupid, I am clearly aware that in order to domesticate a snake you need to handle it. So I was a little taken back. Now, Im not going to begin to tell PetSmart how to care for their animals but I seriously suggest they take a look at who theyve hired to handle the animals... or lack there of. I received 0 tips and instructions on how to care for the snake and they handed it off to me without even suggesting food, shelter, or care tips. They couldnt even tell me when the snake was last fed! When my "animal care specialist" was supposed to retrieve my snake so I could make a purchase she ordered WHAT IM HOPING TO BE another "animal care specialist" to get the snake (probably an inexperienced employee). If the only store employee that specializes in animal care doesnt know how to handle a BEGINNER snake, then she should NOT have that job title. Im worried about the well being of all the other animals shes too afraid to handle. But in other news, my new little snake has perfect behavior and shes healthy as ever. The only reason why Ill give 2 stars.

Chrystal has done an exceptional job in teaching us to training our 19 month old German Shepherd, Elsa. 15 weeks ago we could not bring Elsa near another dog. She even went crazy when she saw the pictures of other dogs on the doors of PetSmart, literally! We are now in Crystals advanced obedience class and we have a new dog. Not only do we walk her inside of PetSmart with confidence, but we are now taking her to parks and outdoor concerts. In fact, last weekend we took her to downtown Colorado Springs when they blocked off the streets for the Pikes Peak Race weekend. Thousands of people, dozens of dogs, and we walked right through the middle of it all. We now take Elsa everywhere with us on the leash. No pulling, no barking! We have a new dog. Thank you Crystal!!!!!!!!

I highly recommend Christel Fleming, the trainer at the Monument, CO PetSmart. She is a great trainer. She takes the time to work with each dog and owner. She is willing to talking by phone if you have problems outside of class. She helped our family with our very high-energy puppy. Not just training the dog, but training me to train my dog. She helped me feel more confident with my dog. She uses only positive training methods and offered so much help in so many ways.

I am very disappointed in the grooming salon at the monument petsmart. It looks like one foot never had the nails trimmed. It was $91!!! The quality was definitely not worth that and I was told it would be $74. Not starting at $74 dollars just exactly $74. I got the receipt if they charged me an additional 30 min add on fee even though they finished 30 min early from the time they told me they would be done. Absolutely not going back there!

My boyfriend and I love this Petsmart! Its so convenient being right across the street from our apartment, we can easily just walk our cats over in their pet stroller (yes, were "those" people). This store has such a great variety of cat food, necessities, and toys! We also really love the cat groomers at this store for trimming our kitties toenails and putting on their Claw Caps! They do an amazing job and for a very decent price.

Very disappointed in the care of the cats in the store that they are "helping" . For a 2nd time at the store, about 3 months apart found them with NO WATER. Told someone about it both times. This last time once they filled the water watched the cats drink for like 5 min! Not just 1 of them but all. Very sad and irresponsible for a store that is about animals!

After taking three training classes with my Bernese Mountain Dog puppy, our experience was the best. I cant say enough good things about the support the trainer, Patti, gave to each in the class - dogs and parents. It makes a tremendous difference how my exuberant puppy behaves these days. Thank you, Patti!!!

I had dog training classes taught by an old lady. She was very rude to me and to others in the class. She didnt seem like she knew what she was doing. Monument is a nice place and should not have people like that. Just beware - I would ask for another dog trainer who is not 87 years old.

I received a Canary for my birthday from here. My Canary is very sick with sac mites. She is fluffed up, labored breathing, wheezing, clicking and wiping her beak frequently. Be prepared to spend money and lots of worry to keep your new love alive.

Terrible job grooming. They brought my dog out half done (shes a lab/schnauzer mix) and my response was "seriously??". They took her back for another 15 minutes while I waited and she looked even more mangled. Never going back!

great girls in grooming for just a bath, nails, etc..they are all sweet and do a good job. My dogs always seem happy when I pick them up, which is key. ...Our dogs dont need cuts so I dont know about that but will use them again!

Staff is friendly and helpful and it is never crowded. They do need to learn to stop putting so many things in the central aisle...it makes passing impossible! Cristal is a great puppy trainer!

This is my home PetSmart, as opposed to my work PetSmart. I prefer this one because the staff is more attentive and friendly and the layout is easier to navigate.
